Traveling to Yantai, I decisively chose the Hilton Golden Coast, and my entire stay was perfect, completely exceeding my expectations. It's an excellent choice for a vacation in Yantai. The hotel's biggest highlight is its stunning sea-view rooms; opening the window reveals an endless blue ocean, with an incredibly expansive view. Whether it's watching the blue sky and ocean and the surging waves during the day, or enjoying the gentle sunset in the evening, it's incredibly therapeutic. Just quietly gazing at the sea makes all travel fatigue disappear, and the ambiance is absolutely perfect. The hotel's service was exceptionally thoughtful and thorough. The front desk staff, Winnie, was warm and professional. Check-in and check-out were very fast, with a simple and efficient process. Any needs during the stay were met with patient, detailed responses and efficient solutions from the staff, providing attentive and considerate service throughout, making for a superb experience. The buffet breakfast was a huge surprise, with a rich and comprehensive variety of dishes, including both Chinese and Western cuisine. There were not only exquisite Western pastries, hot dishes, porridges, fresh fruits, and vegetables, but also local specialty snacks. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was consistently good. Every day offered different delicious options, enough to satisfy the dining needs of the whole family. The room hygiene was impeccable; the entire room was spotlessly clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the layout was neat and cozy, offering a very high level of living comfort. Additionally, the hotel facilities are complete; the gym equipment is comprehensive and clean, allowing for easy exercise and relaxation during leisure time. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and elegant, with excellent privacy, making it very livable away from the hustle and bustle. It's perfect for couples, family vacations, or short business trips. The location is excellent, making travel and sightseeing very convenient. The overall value for money and experience are impeccable. The next time I come to Yantai, I will still choose this hotel first!

This hotel is located in Huangdao District, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it perfect for guests who prefer a quieter environment without large crowds. The indoor pool is spacious and well-lit, with depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters, which is great for families and those learning to swim. The beach is a mere 3-minute walk away. It's a public beach, not a private one, so swimming isn't recommended. However, it's fantastic for clam digging, playing in the sand, and wading in the water in the mornings and evenings. It offers a more private beach experience compared to the crowded public swimming beaches, making it an ideal compromise. There are also water sports facilities operated by third parties on the beach, offering additional options. The hotel features a resident band performance in the evenings, which can be enjoyed directly from the outdoor terrace dining area. I recommend booking a room with a terrace so you can dine and drink while listening to the music. Alternatively, a sea-view room with a balcony also offers a good view. The hotel also has an outdoor mini zoo with cute animals like miniature horses, which is a fun attraction for both adults and children. The breakfast is decent, meeting the standard for a five-star hotel. This room type offers excellent value for money, so remember to book in advance during peak season. By the way, a little heads-up: Qingdao is under a fishing ban throughout July and August, so there's no such thing as ”freshly caught seafood” during this time. Most seafood is frozen or imported from other regions. Friends, be wary of false advertising from some seafood stalls.

The condition of the room was absolutely dreadful and dilapidated, with mould on walls and in the bathroom, multiple stains on the walls which looks like mud/blood/killed bugs, and the bathroom smelled really badly. We were given a room with blood stained duvet cover and bedsheets, which was promptly changed after we pointed it out. The only reason that I'm not leaving a one star review is because the receptionist was very kind and professional and he tried the best to sort out the bedsheet situation. We did not request a room change since even the corridors were messy and the courtyard was full of rubbish, so we assumed that the whole place would look like the room we were assigned, especially that we mentioned in our booking that we are on a honeymoon, so we expected to see some effort on hotel's side. The positives: kind staff, beautiful architecture (but the place is not cleaned often enough), central location so you don't have to climb more stairs as opposed to other hotels, free water and toiletries in the room (although I refused to shower in that bathroom), a beautiful location for the morning sunrise watching and a polite tour guide. I didn't have high expectations since I was keeping in mind that it's a place that's difficult to access, and I rarely leave bad reviews for any accommodation, but I think that it's needed to point out to the property what needs improving so they don't go out of business. I have no idea how on earth they have a 4* ranking. Perhaps we were given a low standard room, however, we went for one of the cheapest options and I was still more expensive than staying in a 5* hotel in Shanghai (that's where we were before)

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The lobby is stylish, and the room was clean, bright, and well-laid out, with comfortable bedding that made for a great night's sleep. The staff were polite and efficient, responding instantly to any requests. The breakfast offered a complete spread of both Western and Chinese options with fresh ingredients, and all the facilities were top-notch. I felt right at home. Five-star recommendation! The location is superb, close to the subway and shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room cleanliness was meticulous, even in the corners, and the amenities were high quality. The service was genuinely warm and thoughtful, without being overbearing. The hardware, environment, dining, and service were all impeccable. This hotel is now my top choice!

I got to experience sailing on a yacht... I was a bit worried I'd get seasick, but then I saw the beautiful ocean view right in front of me and forgot all my worries. The hotel stay was incredibly comfortable and spacious, and the kids had a blast. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's so convenient for going to the mall, eating out, and shopping. The hotel itself was clean, hygienic, and tidy.

The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and it is convenient to travel. There are many parking spaces in the parking lot at the door. There is light music at the front desk, which is very nice. The room type is very good, the layout is reasonable, the bathroom is super large, clean and hygienic, and the mattress is very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Ni's Haitai! The location is superb, directly facing the sea, making it very convenient for walks and watching the sunset. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. The service is attentive and polite, with prompt responses to any requests. The resort grounds are extensive with beautiful scenery and excellent facilities, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. It's a perfect escape from the city hustle, and the sea breeze is incredibly relaxing. The overall stay was impeccable, making it my top choice for a vacation. Highly recommended!

The views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer. The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

My trip to Qingdao was a bit rushed, but overall it was good. I chose the Sanfu Hotel, which is very close to Yan'erdao subway station. The Lvsi seafood nearby was absolutely delicious!

This hotel is perfect for family trips. We considered several options, but ultimately decided on the Ocean View. Upon arrival, a dedicated staff member escorted us to our room. We soon realized the hotel's layout is quite complex; it would have been difficult to find our room without assistance. After dropping off our luggage, we started signing our child up for various themed activities. From crafts to storytelling, and even making cream cookies, we tried everything. Our child had an amazing time! The basement floor is filled with all sorts of children's play facilities, and the outdoor pool kept our child thoroughly entertained. The service, as always, was excellent. Even after we checked out, we received follow-up calls from the butler service, which was a thoughtful touch.
