This hotel is located right in the old city, just a ten-minute walk to Daiwang Mansion and a one-minute walk to Huayan Temple, which is incredibly convenient. The owners are very warm and welcoming, and their service is excellent. They even offer complimentary fruit. The accommodations are great, with good soundproofing and all the necessary facilities. I highly recommend staying here.

I was so touched! Right after I got off the high-speed train, the inn owner was already waiting for me by the roadside in his car. Since cars can't enter the ancient city gate, the owner switched to an electric scooter and continued to take me to the inn, free of charge. The proprietress helped me carry my luggage to the second floor, which I felt really bad about, but was deeply moved by! I absolutely love the style of this room. After check-in, the proprietress grabbed a map and meticulously explained tips for exploring Pingyao Ancient City and important details to note, making everything very clear. I love Shanxi; I felt such attentive care here. When it was time to leave, the owner offered to drive me to the high-speed train station again. I felt embarrassed and decided to leave early and take a taxi to the station myself, then informed the owner via WeChat. He immediately asked if I had gotten into the car yet, offering to drive me if I hadn't. Oh, I was so moved! I told him I had really gotten into a car and didn't need him to drive, wishing his business prosperity and continued success! For anyone planning a trip to Pingyao Ancient City, choose this place; it's very reliable, you won't go wrong!

The hotel's facilities are excellent, but the service was extremely disappointing. I specifically booked a large suite for four days to relax and chat with friends and play cards. However, two unfriendly guests next door fabricated stories, claiming we knocked on the wrong door and made noise. In reality, we were always careful to keep quiet. Despite this, the hotel, without verifying the facts, sent staff to disturb us multiple times in the middle of the night—they opened our door three times and we received a phone call. To prove our innocence, we even went to the surveillance room and confirmed from the footage that we never knocked on the wrong door. Overall, the hotel's handling and resolution of disputes were quite unprofessional.

This homestay experience is full and must be praised! The location is particularly excellent, just a few minutes walk to Vientiane City, shopping, eating, travel are super convenient, quiet in the middle of noisy, travel efficiency is full. The room was cleaned spotlessly, the bedding was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and odorless, the details were done in place, and the living was safe and comfortable. The landlord is warm and thoughtful, the communication is smooth, the check-in and check-out are very convenient, there are questions to respond in time, and the service is intimate and professional. The overall environment is warm and comfortable, the facilities are complete and easy to use, and the price is super high. Whether it is a trip or a short trip, it is very suitable. My stay at Futiandahua Rain Hot Spring Hotel was absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is superb, right inside the ancient city. It's super close to where they do the iron flower show, which, by the way, is an absolute must-see. I'm getting on in years, but watching that show brought tears to my eyes; I was so moved by the performers' dedication and the incredible spectacle they put on. It's clear the hotel owner pays incredible attention to detail. My two girlfriends and I stayed in a triple room, and from the moment we walked into the lobby, we were gushing over the hotel's ambiance, the staff, and the room's decor. Every little detail was thoughtfully done. Even when we were heading out to explore the ancient city, the front desk proactively offered us a pack of tissues to take with us. The room itself was a standalone unit, so it was incredibly quiet. They delivered coffee and afternoon tea daily, and the fruit plate in the room was fresh. There was also a cooler in the lobby with bottled water available for guests. The whole room was smart-enabled with XiaoDu (a smart assistant), and the shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable, with a separate wet and dry area. Oh, one small thing: the trash can in the bathroom was a bit too small; I hope they can improve that. The private hot spring was amazing. After a full day of sightseeing, coming back to soak in the hot spring and chat was just pure bliss.

This hotel has a great design, I really loved its style. It was comfortable, and the service was excellent. They offered afternoon tea upon check-in and cocktails in the evening, which felt very special. The location is superb, right above a commercial area, making it very convenient. My friend and I booked two rooms for our trip, and she loved it too.

This ancient courtyard, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, has a charming, old-world feel, as if you've stepped back in time. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was incredibly warm and attentive, even giving us discount vouchers for a local restaurant. I got to do my favorite Jin merchant-style travel photoshoot right here in the courtyard, and the photos turned out amazing – truly a fantastic experience! The night view was also incredibly beautiful, with red lanterns creating a wonderful ambiance. It was a very satisfying stay, truly a feast of culture and history.

The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning. Day and night, you face the serene Huayan Temple and watch the crowds in the square. It got colder today, but the afternoon sun was pleasantly warm. Room: I stayed in the Huayan room, the closest one to Huayan Temple. The room looked exactly like the hotel pictures – what you see is what you get. My only minor gripe is that the window is a bit small and faces the replica eaves of the ancient buildings in the square. The details outside the window aren't great; there's an unpeeled protective film on the outer window and a thick electrical wire dangling outside. Facilities: The 'Xiaodu' smart assistant is quite good. However, casting to the TV requires using 'Meibo,' which is really inconvenient. The bathroom is excellent; both the overhead and handheld showerheads can be used simultaneously, making for a very comfortable shower. The faucet design is also great, and there's a thoughtful clothesline in the shower area. The hotel has a laundry room available until 9 PM. Service: I stayed for four days and met six staff members – three men and three women – all incredibly polite. You can tell their service is thoughtful: on the first day, I had knife-cut noodles for breakfast. I didn't mention I don't eat cilantro or green onions, but they disappeared from my breakfast dishes in the following days. The evening foot bath tub is very comfortable, and the foot soak sachet contains red dates, Sichuan peppercorns, and astragalus (couldn't identify the others). The hotel's sea buckthorn juice and astragalus water are also good. Yesterday, I overheard a guest at the front desk complaining about the service, but honestly, it's quite good. When you call, a staff member will always come up to help with luggage. Dining: Breakfast is a set meal, and after a few days, it does get a bit repetitive. However, the knife-cut noodles and rice vermicelli are good, and the siu mai is also tasty. I hope they can vary the side dishes and pastries in the future, maybe offer some fried dough sticks or something... I also have to mention the hot drinks at the front desk: the latte is much, much better than Starbucks, probably because of the quality of the milk. Transportation: Transportation is very convenient; it's easy to get anywhere. I'll definitely come back next time, and I'd like to try a duplex room, haha. It wasn't crowded on Monday, so I peeked into a few empty rooms, and almost every duplex was unique.

The room still smells a little bit newly renovated. It is located on the bar street and it is very noisy. The front desk said that it will be arranged upstairs to make it less noisy, but the music in the bar next to it has been so loud that it makes people feel heartbroken. It has both points. Anyway, when I was lying on the bed, I regretted choosing this hotel. It's not close to the snack street, so you have to walk for a long time to get there. In short, except for those who like to stay up late at night, it's better to avoid lightning. The room facilities are okay, there is an automatic water dispenser, and the bath water is large, but the shower room and toilet are right next to the bed, which doesn't feel good. The so-called minibar snacks are just a pack of snacks.
