Hotel near Ocean Flower Island,Danzhou 66% of visitors choose this area

Our first family room had a damp smell, but the front desk manager kindly helped us switch to another family room facing the sea. The service was attentive, and the room was clean. Breakfast had a decent variety, and the environment was pleasant. The water park wasn't open yet, and the ocean park didn't have much to do besides taking photos. It was off-season, so there weren't many people. The kids' world is still under construction. There's a food street near the hotel, making dining quite convenient. The hotel also offers a paid mini-train ride that takes you around the hotel for 40 minutes at 15 yuan per ride, which is worth it. There's Twin Beach near the Hilton, which is great for watching the sunset. If the island's facilities improve further, I would definitely visit again.

We had a few issues at first, but after some communication and coordination, everything was resolved wonderfully. They even upgraded us to a Red-crowned Crane room type, allowing both families to stay together, which made us very happy with the outcome. First, let's talk about the hotel's advantages: 1. The restaurant is fantastic, with an excellent view. While the food selection isn't vast, the quality is top-notch. I tend to have high standards for hotel breakfast, and considering both the ambiance and quality here, I was very satisfied. 2. The shuttle service is incredibly responsive. The hotel feels like it's spread across the entire mountain, so you rely on the shuttles to get around. They're fast and comfortable. 3. The room views are superb, and the rooms are very clean. The mini-fridge is complimentary, and the amenities are comprehensive. It would be even better if the drinking water wasn't Nongfu Spring. Here are a few suggestions: The gathering areas need some maintenance; I noticed some broken stair treads. Since the hotel is quite spread out, there should be more staff to ensure service. Also, better communication between housekeeping and the front desk could prevent many information delays. And honestly, the glass skywalk was a total rip-off – it was scorching hot and exhausting to walk on. You can skip these attractions and just enjoy the hotel itself.

After our trip to Shimei Bay, we arrived at the hotel with my entire family, including young children and elderly parents, along with several large suitcases. We were understandably quite tired from the journey. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel had a significant shortage of staff both inside and outside the lobby – a stark contrast to Shimei Bay, where service personnel were readily available everywhere. Although there weren't many guests checking in at the time, and the scene wasn't particularly busy, given our large group and numerous bags, I had to proactively request a luggage cart to make things easier. For a resort hotel that prides itself on the guest experience, the initial service response would be much better if it were more proactive and if staffing levels were more adequate. Regarding the room, the promotional pictures I saw when booking showed a sea-facing view with a visible beach. However, the actual view from our room was quite different from what we expected. While we could see the sea in the distance, our primary view was of the hotel's pool area, and the beach wasn't visible at all. The visual impression didn't match the promotional images. During the Chinese New Year period, the hotel organized various activities, some free and some with a charge, which is understandable. However, it was quite surprising to find that even digging for sand crabs on the public beach area required an additional fee. Compared to the hotel we stayed at previously in Shimei Bay, the activity planning here was indeed a bit lackluster. On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a rich variety of options, especially the Pandan Tofu Pudding, Pandan Pancakes, and various Hainan noodles. These were not only distinctive but also delicious, adding a wonderful culinary delight to our mornings. What truly impressed us was the mature food scene around the hotel. From Coconut Chicken, Wenchang Chicken, Ding'an Jumping Beef (which can be hotpot or BBQ), Baoluo Noodles, Hainan Noodles, to all sorts of desserts and snacks – the choices were incredibly diverse. This added a lot of local flavor and memorable gastronomic experiences to our trip. The hotel's beach area itself was quite good. The sea breeze, sand quality, and the overall experience were very relaxing and comfortable.

The room is fully equipped, and the view is absolutely stunning (picture 8)! The slippers are super comfortable, though I only discovered that on my last day. The hotel offers convenient access to Coconut Dream Corridor via a dedicated underground passage. This is a crucial point: many online photo guides suggest going opposite the Haiyun Hotel, but actually, the path from within this hotel to Coconut Dream Corridor passes through a small, beautiful lawn. And if you take the elevator up to Coconut Dream Corridor and walk a bit to the left, it's also very picturesque (pictures 1, 3, 4, 5). There's no need to go opposite the Haiyun Hotel, it's very crowded there! There are also plenty of dining options nearby (famous coconut chicken, Zao Po Cu hotpot, and Hainanese cuisine are all close by). All the hotel staff are wonderful. Our butler, Lily, tried her best to fulfill all our requests, which we really appreciated! We'll definitely be back!

I came here for a long weekend, to escape the cooler weather of the north. What I liked most about the hotel is the service – when there was an issue with air-conditioning in the room that I initially occupied, a manager, Kiki, was very kind and transferred me to another room, even though the hotel was nearly fully booked. I appreciated Kiki’s sincere effort to make sure my stay was comfortable. It goes to show that it’s always the people who make the hotel a comfortable place to stay - and a place you would want to return to.

The hotel has so many palm trees, it felt like I'd stepped into a coconut grove. The pool was beautiful and clean, and my kids loved it. It's really close to the beach, which was surprisingly uncrowded, so we could take walks and even find little seashells. For dining, I highly recommend the Jade Palace Chinese Restaurant – the food is affordable and delicious, and they even have group deals. As for the hotel service, it was absolutely incredible! Our butler, Nita, provided an all-inclusive service, responding super quickly to messages and helping us arrange everything from travel photography to duty-free vouchers. She was so thoughtful and meticulous. It was a very comfortable stay, definitely a five-star experience!

This is an amazing family-friendly hotel! We stayed for 3 nights, and the kids had an absolute blast, playing non-stop with a different activity from morning to night – there was just so much to do. The hotel's beach is also beautiful, with incredibly fine and soft sand, perfect for photos. The dining options are extensive, and both the Chinese restaurant and the beachfront buffet were excellent and unique. The private plunge pool in our room was super convenient for the kids to splash around in, and in the mornings, I could lay out a yoga mat by the pool for a relaxing yoga session. The hotel service was also superb; our attendant, Kim, was available all day and answered every question we had. All in all, it was a vacation where both adults and children were extremely satisfied!

This time, I traveled to Wanning with friends and chose to stay at another hotel and the Westin. Although both are five-star hotels, from the moment I stepped into the Westin after getting out of the car, I was captivated by the grand, spacious lobby, which, like hotels in Bali, exuded an impressive vibe – exactly my style. My friends all praised me for making such a wise choice with this hotel. The beach sand was clean and fine, and there were plenty of water activities. Just sitting by the beach, zoning out and relaxing, was incredibly pleasant. As for the Deluxe Ocean View room we stayed in, it was a slight disappointment; the view from the balcony was obstructed by tall green plants, only allowing a tiny glimpse of the distant sea. The room's cleanliness had minor flaws, but that's understandable. The breakfast selection was rich, with both Chinese and Western cuisine available, and the seating was spacious, making for a very enjoyable chat-and-dine experience.

I immensely enjoyed my stay in Central Coast Sea.View Hotel Sanya for 4 nights. Excellent breakfast hall and food selection. Excellent butler service by Levi . You can request water, towels, utensils (cutlery) from WeChat message. Also, the complimentary fruit plate was excellent . ( look for the mango mini size and passion fruit). The front desk staff ( Lila ) was very helpful in ordering food from ******* ( dumplings ) and then I simply send her money from AliPay. As of April 2025, There is a major construction ( underwater tunnel ) and there is some noise, however the noise subsided at night around 9pm. Overall, highly recommend . Excellent hotel, amazing views, amazing location, very central and amazing value compared to other 5 star hotels in Sanya Hainan area. No doubt, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sanya.

This is a very new hotel, and the facilities and equipment are pretty good. The hygiene conditions also seem quite good. My booking was split into two separate stays. The first time, I was very satisfied. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and even upgraded my room type. She proactively offered reminders and directions for special features. The only thing I felt could be improved was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective. The second stay was noticeably less smooth than the first. The room key wouldn't open the door, and after checking in, there wasn't enough tissue paper in the room, clearly indicating it wasn't replenished during cleaning. I tried calling the front desk to ask for some, but no one answered. My message on WeChat was only attended to an hour later. There were also a lot of tiny sand particles in the corners of the shower, which weren't cleaned. The first time, there were two packets of drip coffee on the minibar, but this time they weren't there (though I didn't drink them anyway), but it just felt like the stay wasn't as thoughtful as the first. The electric curtains also wouldn't open. I'm not sure if it's because the room was at the very end, but even the WiFi didn't seem as smooth as the first time. However, these are all minor issues. Overall, I'm still satisfied. I hope the hotel continues to improve and pays more attention to the details.

Wwewetse_hlpHaitang Bay was the only place I hadn't visited yet, and since I was traveling with a child, I found that the InterContinental offered the most extensive range of kids' activities and entertainment, so I booked it without hesitation. The hotel room was very spacious, and they provided slippers, bathrobes, and toiletries for children. The breakfast even had a dedicated kids' buffet, which made my child feel involved in the morning meal. On the day we checked in, we were assigned a butler, Bobby, who sent daily greetings and checked in on us, providing reminders whether it was raining or sunny. The kids' club, mini-train, mini-cars, and bicycles were all available for unlimited use, and my child absolutely loved it. We booked a travel photoshoot on the third day, which was also very thoughtful. Even though it was hot and my child wasn't very cooperative, the photographer still managed to capture some pretty good shots despite the challenging conditions. The complimentary buffet also included a mermaid show. Every day was wonderfully enjoyable, and my child said they want to come back again next time!

NNiki*The facilities are a bit old, and there's a slight musty smell in the room, but other than that, everything was great. The sea visible from the balcony was very blue, and there was a nice breeze at the hotel, which was very comfortable. We went to the Thai restaurant; the prices weren't high, and the group set meals were substantial. I thought the food was delicious, though it was a bit dim in the restaurant at night, so people might want to go in the early evening or earlier. We were lucky enough to stumble upon an unexpected concert on the lawn 🎼 enjoying the breeze, listening to music, and sipping wine – it was wonderfully liberating… There were also plenty of beach chairs by the sea, so you didn't have to scramble for one like on public beaches, haha. Our butler, Coral, provided excellent service. All in all, everything was just right! (Many people complain online, but I think you really have to experience it for yourself to know).

GGuest UserFacilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive. The beach is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, but unfortunately, the waves were too big, so we could only admire them from afar. There's a sightseeing mini-train that circles the hotel for tours. There are three pools, one of which is a water park for children, and lifeguards are always on duty. Free swimming rings are provided, which is very convenient. Hygiene: The rooms and facilities are kept quite clean. The rooms had no strange odors, and the soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet for sleeping at night. Environment: The environment is pretty good, with a large lawn that's great for taking photos and strolls. It's also very comfortable to just relax and unwind at the hotel. Service: We waited in line for 15 minutes to check in at the front desk, and the check-in process itself took 30 minutes. We booked two king rooms for three nights, and the room issues delayed us for a long time. There were suitable rooms available, but we were put through two rounds of arrangements. The efficiency was a bit low. There was also a slight unpleasantness when getting towels by the pool; I hope some staff members can improve their service awareness. However, a kind elderly woman, possibly housekeeping, on the first floor of Building 5 was particularly enthusiastic in helping us find the sightseeing shuttle. Also, a young man at the hotel's main entrance saw us, a group with elderly and children pushing a wheelchair, returning from outside and proactively offered us a ride to the lobby. That was very heartwarming. Breakfast and the buffet dinner had a good variety of choices, and the quality was decent. Overall, it's still a pretty good hotel.

GGuest UserThis is a true resort hotel. While the decor isn't the most modern, those seeking privacy will absolutely love it. Each room is a standalone unit with its own yard, and you hardly see other guests except during meals. The beach sand is quite fine, and it's mostly deserted. There's also a very photogenic pier that looks just like something out of La La Land! Our butler, Henry, was very responsive, even checking if we'd received our dessert at 9 PM. The front desk answered the phone on the first ring, and the shuttle was almost always immediate. Everyone's service was exceptional, really showing the quality of a five-star hotel. It's also perfect for a run; a 5k at sunset is absolutely delightful!

YY panThe room facilities were a bit old. Perhaps due to the season, all the bed linens felt damp. After I reported it, the butler immediately arranged for a dehumidifier to be sent to our room. They also tried their best to find us a drier room, but we didn't like the low-floor options, so we decided to stay put. Room service was decent. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, but possibly because there was a conference group, the overall service felt a bit disorganized and couldn't quite keep up.

MMs.TeeI had such an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay. The location is honestly perfect — everything you need is right there. You can simply walk down to the beach, enjoy water activities, and explore so many restaurants nearby. It’s the kind of place where you never feel isolated because there’s always something happening around you. One of the things I loved most is that the hotel is connected to the Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection. If you’re staying at JW Marriott, you can also enjoy their pools and facilities, which really adds to the whole experience. The hotel itself has so much to offer, especially for families. There are daily kids’ activities, and my son was never bored — there was always something fun planned. The playground is huge and honestly looks futuristic, like something out of a movie. It’s such a dream space for children. They also have a beautiful swimming pool, which makes it even more enjoyable to spend your days there. I also visited Casa Corona Beach Club, and it was such a vibe. The atmosphere, the food, and the whole setting made it a really memorable experience. The spa was another highlight — so relaxing and exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind and take care of yourself. On top of that, the service throughout the hotel was incredible. The staff really made everything feel smooth, welcoming, and special. It’s honestly just a great place to be with your family. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a beautiful beachfront stay with lots of activities, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It truly has everything — location, experiences, and comfort.

GGuest UserEnvironment: As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the sunset and a refreshing ocean breeze. The hotel is absolutely stunning and massive! The coconut groves, lawns, pool, and sandy beach provide endless photo opportunities – it's just amazing! The room has a small balcony, and when you open the door, the view is expansive. Facilities: They had a baby playpen and bathtub ready for me. Although some online reviews mentioned the facilities being a bit old, everything I needed was there. Hot water was fine, hairdryer worked well. The only minor issue was the air conditioning wasn't very cold, but it was still acceptable. The small balcony was perfect for drying clothes quickly, which was very convenient. Hygiene: There were notices on the table about geckos, ants, and insects, but I didn't encounter any bugs during my stay. The cleaning staff were also very efficient. With all my baby's things making a bit of a mess, the auntie quickly tidied everything up for me. Service: My requests were met very quickly! I called for band-aids, to have dishes cleared, for room cleaning, to order a kids' meal, and for a late check-out – all were handled promptly! A special shout-out to Butler Tudou (Potato) – incredibly enthusiastic, proactive, and provided excellent service! Also, the staff at the pool area were very warm and patient, and they even helped me inflate my swim ring for free. Another highlight was the complimentary Magnolia photoshoot. The photographer was very professional. I just told him what I wanted, and he quickly found suitable locations and patiently helped me set up props. I initially thought the five complimentary photos would be enough, but after seeing the final shots, I didn't hesitate to pay for more. They made a perfect gift for my baby's first birthday 🎁. The breakfast and buffet dinner included in the package offered a rich variety of options and tasted great. The noodles for breakfast really suited a Hunan palate, and there were various snacks. Dinner was a DIY hotpot buffet, so we didn't eat out at all these past few days, even though it seems there's a food street nearby, haha. There were also some parent-child activities, but my baby was too young to participate. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. For a family trip, it offers great value for money.

GGuest UserFive-star full marks! ✨ Atlantis Sanya is absolutely worth it! Overall Experience: A perfect score, definitely my top choice for a Sanya vacation. The stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is luxurious and grand. The giant aquarium in the lobby creates an amazing atmosphere, and every photo taken looks like it's from a magazine. The room I stayed in had a fantastic view, directly facing the stunning seascape of Haitang Bay. Waking up to the sea breeze and sunshine was incredibly comfortable. Room Cleanliness: The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the toiletries had a sophisticated scent. The attention to detail was evident. The staff were gentle, attentive, and responded quickly to requests. The entire experience was excellent. Most Satisfying: The unlimited access to the Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium included with the stay was incredible value for money. The water park rides were thrilling and fun, and the aquarium offered close-up views of various marine creatures, creating a dreamy and therapeutic atmosphere. The C Show performance was also stunning and impressive. It's truly enjoyable for all ages. All dining and entertainment options can be found within the hotel, and the facilities are comprehensive and convenient. It's perfectly suited for both family trips and leisure vacations. The experience was impeccable, and I genuinely recommend it. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!

EErdongqiaqiayouRated 80, this hotel offers great value for money. Pros: The public areas are spacious and beautiful, seemingly well-maintained. There are three pools: a kids' pool, a heated adult pool, and an infinity pool. The beach bar has a really pleasant atmosphere. I booked a Grand Club sea-view room. While you can see the ocean from the room, there's also a construction site visible, so the view might need a bit of 'mental filtering,' but it's still good. Everything you'd expect is provided. I particularly liked the scent of their toiletries and body lotion – it's Pullman brand, very pleasant and soothing. Breakfast was just okay; nothing amazing, but nothing terrible either. I really enjoyed their papaya; it had absolutely none of that strange 'papaya' taste and was very sweet. I'm not usually a fan of papaya, but I ate several slices and thought I'd developed a liking for it. Then my friend bought one downstairs that had a strong papaya flavor, and I couldn't eat it. We also tried the complimentary hot pot buffet, served in the same restaurant as breakfast. The seafood selection was limited to shrimp, razor clams, chicken legs, some conch, and crabs. There was some meat as well. The best part was cooking their raw Hainanese chicken yourself; don't bother with the pre-cooked one! We also dined at their Yu Village restaurant. In terms of value for money, it was average. The price matches the taste – it was good, but not worth making a special trip for. It's a good option if you're staying at the hotel and don't feel like going out. I recommend their salt-baked chicken; it even comes with a presentation ritual that's a bit embarrassing for introverts. Overall, the service was genuinely good, which is why they received a score of 80. We're the type of guests who ask for a lot – we needed things for social media posts, and band-aids, and they provided everything. Their handling of a subsequent complaint was also a huge plus. The travel photoshoot turned out pretty well too; at least we got some free photos. My sister and I went with our husbands but didn't rely on them for photos, and that mindset proved to be absolutely correct. The hotel's travel photography service, as long as you're sensible when selecting photos, can totally resolve family disputes using the free entitlement – it's brilliant. Cons: There were a lot of mosquitoes and ants. We were lying by the pool, and small insects were crawling onto us. Small flies also emerged from the welcome fruit the hotel provided – it wasn't that the fruit was old, it was just there. Some of the hardware needs improvement. Upon check-in, I noticed the sealant in the shower was peeling. They fixed it quite quickly after we reported it. Later, while swimming, I pushed off the pool wall and found it quite rough and scraped my foot, so you need to be careful. Many of the poolside loungers had mold stains on their covers. The entire hotel also lacks an indoor pool; all are outdoors. The hotel's air conditioning was extremely ineffective. If you're even slightly sensitive to heat, staying in the room with the AC on full blast still felt warm. We also called for this to be fixed. The staff measured it and said it was normal, but it was genuinely hot. I mean, we've stayed in other hotels with AC, but if they say it's normal, then we'll just say it's cooler than outside. After our room was cleaned on the second day, we returned from swimming to find a fingerprint-shaped stain on the towel hanging on the outside handle of the shower. It was absurd; I don't think that should ever happen at a Grand Hyatt – it's a hygiene issue. However, we were on vacation, and the incident had already occurred. Of course, I was angry at the moment, but since it happened, my priority was their attitude and explanation, and ultimately, compensation. This is where their service and complaint handling come into play again. It was truly prompt and professional. Feedback was received immediately, and they came to resolve it right away. Subsequently, a manager called to apologize, and they didn't just string me along with a good attitude but no 'sincerity' (you can refer to my previous review of Hotel X for comparison). Grand Hyatt genuinely provided some compensation we needed, including car service to our next hotel and dining vouchers. Upon check-out, they even gave me a set of their toiletries, which I loved. I was surprised they knew I liked them, as I hadn't mentioned it at all. They also promised a room upgrade if we stayed with them again in the future. The entire process was handled gracefully, resolving the problem and regaining our favor. Overall, the public areas and pools of Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay are excellent, the service and after-sales support are outstanding, and the value for money is good. It's suitable for those who prioritize experience and have high service expectations. Although there were minor flaws with insects, hardware, AC, and hygiene, the responsible after-sales service makes the overall vacation experience still highly recommendable.
