Perfect hotel for exploring Tallinn - great location within minutes walk from the downtown, spacious and clean room, public transport is close, hotel offers spa services, port passenger terminals within walking distance, Prisma supermarket 24/7 really close to reach. We will definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Tallinn.

Stayed here just for one night while hotel hopping in Tallinn with my little family of four. We booked a family room with beautiful by windows and a bath tub. We had one queen bed and a room with two single beds. Our St. Barbara stay comes with a buffet breakfast. There is not a lot of options but still would offer food for vegans, vegetarian, those on keto, lactose intolerant, and gluten-intolerant diets. This is alright because the stay isn't very expensive. The check-in is a breeze. It was wonderful to know that our room was ready earlier than official check in time but if it is not, they also offer free luggage storage while you roam around town. Our room holds a lot of character and clean. The windows give you a sight of the old Tallinn architecture. The only downside for our family if the lack of a bidet/toilet hose in the comfort room. We're 2 minutes away from the public transport. Also a few minutes away from restaurants, bars, the Old Town. Location is great. We can jump on a bus to the Cruise Terminal so that's very convenient especially while traveling with little children. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families and couples.

As many of the other reviews pointed out, the photos of the room were not wholly accurate. My room seemed pretty outdated and was quite dark too. Take note: the curtains do not cover the entire length of the windows, so sunlight flooded the room from 6am in April, so I wouldn’t recommend in the Summer months when daylight is longer. The shower curtain does not go all the way down and water easily escapes so the entire bathroom floor will be wet after you shower. I was very creeped out by the dark ominous hallways with huge room number signs and random music playing at certain times of the day. Other than that, the room was clean enough and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a mini fridge and that they changed the towels everyday. There is body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, but when I stayed there was no shampoo or conditioner at all and they didn’t top it up either throughout my stay. I accidentally left behind a card in my room after checking out and politely asked if they could help mail it to the neighbouring city I had moved on to, but they asked 20€ for it which I felt was quite unreasonable and they were rude about it too.

Citybox Tallinn is a hotel that I would come back to you and recommend to friends, there is no reception however it’s very easy to check in and check out with free luggage lockers as well. The room was very clean with big windows. The location was great for getting into the old town as well as right next to the port if you are planning on catching a ferry. There are lots of amenities such as a shared kitchen coffee machine umbrellas lounge area.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. While it’s small and budget-friendly, it’s packed with character and charm. Great location just a few minutes from the bus station and a short stroll to everything in Tallinn’s Old Town. Staying here felt like stepping into a medieval castle. What it lacks in luxury, it makes up for in atmosphere and history. The winding staircases, uneven floors, richly patterned carpets add to its quirky appeal. There’s a real beauty in its imperfections. The rooms are very small and basic, but they were spotless and suited our needs. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was squeaky clean, and we received fresh towels daily, which was more than I expected at this price point. Overall, it was more than just a place to sleep, it was a memorable experience that made us feel like we’d stepped back in time.

The hotel has a great location in the old town so it’s very convenient and the design around the hotel is gorgeous and the rooms have antique furnishings. Maria is extremely helpful and polite when I checked in late after 5pm. Do note that there’s no kettle in the room but a shared kitchen at level 2, sadly when I wanted to use it, the kettle might have been taken by other guests. Will be great if each room can have a kettle or if there is a main water dispenser. The toilet seat is not securely fastened so be careful. The water in the bathroom can easy splash out as it’s a curtain shower for the standing shower. Room slippers, fragrant shower, shampoo, hair conditioner and shower caps are provided.

The hotel was just okay- it did its job for the one night I was in Tallinn Location- great, close to many places I intended to see The price was what sold me on this hotel Breakfast- lacking, but I don’t typically use the continental breakfast. Room was large and spacious. The sauna in the room was the biggest perk. No AC and room was warm, but did have a fan and windows opened TV had limited channels and could not cast from personal device

I arrived early, expecting to just drop off my luggage, but they had my room ready for me. It was an attic room, and my head nearly touched the ceiling, but the room was clean, and the water pressure was good, except for the morning shower. The breakfast was fantastic; I had a hearty meal. There was even herring and seaweed salad.

Overall 10/10. Contact with the service is at the highest level. The hotel itself is located in a house where other residents are and a couple of rooms for rent. Intuitive information provided by the service makes check in easier, leave baggage or help in any problems. The room itself is very nice, solidly equipped, with its own internet and tv access to all applications. The bathroom is very rich with all cosmetics. Location about 30 min walking from the center. Under the hotel there is a bus and tram stop. There are various kinds of fast food around the area as if someone was hungry late in the evening
