Everything is top-notch. The rooms are new and everything is in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly. The only issue that might be annoying for a visitor is that the room is very noisy, meaning you can hear very clearly if your neighbor is watching TV or having a conversation, for example. This can be annoying under certain circumstances. But apart from that, everything is actually perfectly fine. There's a market in front of the hotel every day from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. – it's worth being aware of that. This means that between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m., no cars can drive or park there, and everything is closed off. Fortunately, there's a large parking garage right next to the hotel where you can park your car 24/7. It's secure and the parking garage costs €12 per night (as of July 2025). Conclusion: If you're looking for a solid, minimalist, and simple hotel room in a good location and at a fair price, this is the place for you.👍

Dominico, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, embodying the true spirit of Sicilian hospitality. The accommodations were a dream. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect respite after a day of exploring. From our room, we were treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, where olive trees and winery vines stretched as far as the eye could see. The tranquility of this environment is unmatched; it’s the kind of peaceful retreat that rejuvenates the soul. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful donkey family that resides on the property. Each time we called out their names—Daddy Donkey Carmelo, Mom Antonella, and their son Vitina—they would come trotting over when they hear calling their names, bringing smiles and laughter to our days. Their playful presence truly added a unique charm to our experience. FYI, they love apples! We are so grateful to have chosen Feudo Del Biviere for our getaway. It’s a place that feels like home, wrapped in the beauty of nature and filled with warmth. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, already dreaming of our next visit. Something fabulous. Bungalows right on the beach. A wonderful sunrise. Beautiful view of Etna. Clean tidy. A very nice employee - a great person. The breakfast was modest but the coffee was delicious. 12 minutes to the airport. Open 24 hours. I am very satisfied. This place probably benefits in the summer, during the season. Nice infrastructure. Cottages in a wooded area, sandy beach, parking, 24-hour service. Just go there.

La struttura è pulitissima, ben organizzata e curata, con la zona piscine e vasca Jacuzzi che è veramente un gioiellino con una vista mozzafiato su Palermo. Stanza ampia, luminosa e pulitissima. Servizio professionale e sempre attento al dettaglio. Il ristorante è di ottima qualità e varietà di scelta. Potrebbero secondo me sfruttare la zona piscina anche la sera, visto il tanto spazio e la presenza del chiosco bar, con della musica da sottofondo, e luci soffuse per un bel aperitivo o cocktail bordo piscina con vista panoramica. Creare una situazione tranquilla, rilassante, dove poter interagire con gli altri ospiti, semplice ma efficace. La posizione infatti, un poco fuori mano ti obbliga la sera a prendere l'auto o una navetta e andare a Palermo. Un consiglio, il ristorante è un po' caro, soprattutto in rapporto alla quantità delle porzioni, anche se la qualità è alta. La pizza è nella media generale. Potrebbe invogliare più ospiti a restare a cena, anche se poi devi creare qualcosa, come detto prima, per far vivere la bella struttura anche nelle ore serali. Unica nota dolente, ahimè, dopo il check out delle 11, sei obbligato ad andare via. La maggior parte delle strutture invece, ti consente di restare un'altra mezza giornata in piscina, dove tra l'altro è facile prendere delle consumazioni al bar. Questa cosa va migliorata secondo me. Volevo restare fino alle 14, per godere un'altra ora della Jacuzzi, ma nonostante ho chiesto varie volte, la cosa mi è stata negata e non insistendo, sono andato via. Tornerò sicuramente, perché mi sono trovato veramente bene. Spero che la direzione dell'hotel prenda le mie considerazioni, non come critiche, ma come consigli. Per il resto tutto veramente ottimo

Excellent Stay with Great Location and Stunning Views I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—just a 16-minute walk from the train station and about 15-20 minutes on foot to the island’s main attractions. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean， with the added bonus of being close to the sea. It even had two balconies, allowing us to enjoy the lovely views and fresh air. What made our stay even better was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always welcoming and went out of their way to assist us whenever needed. The location is excellent—just a **16-minute walk from the train station** and **15-20 minutes to the island’s main attractions**. The room itself was **spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated**, with the added benefit of being **close to the sea** and featuring **two balconies**. The staff were also **very friendly and helpful**, which enhanced our experience. However, there was one major downside: the walls are extremely thin. We could easily hear noises from the hallway and stairwell. On our last night, the neigh-boring room was very loud, which disrupted our sleep and unfortunately put a damper on an otherwise great trip.

The curtains are not shading, but it is very convenient to go anywhere. The train station is a few minutes away. It is downhill, but it is uphill to the train station. There is no elevator. You need to carry the box up, but you can tell the reception person in advance that they will help move together. Very nice, the morning view is also very good.

The room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category. If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish). The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese).

I am having a hard time writing this review as we actually enjoyed our stay at La chiusa, location, staff and food was good. However, I suffered a severe bug bite attack at night and the management of the hotel is turning all responsibility away from them. My whole body, face, legs, arms, neck are full with red marks from the bites, the itch is unbearable! I kindly asked for a statement and refund for the situation but at first I got “it looks like mosquito bites” and then they kept explaining their cleaning procedures and gave us the responsibility for the situation that we would have brought them with us. Also they did not see any reason to pay any compensation for the situation. Nothings for time spent at doctors, creams or refund for the room. NOTHING. Just the situation for us to deal with the itchy bites. I am 100% sure that the bugs have been there before we came, I even saw one before going to sleep (not knowing it is a bed bug) thinking that it is a remote location and it can happen that a bug enters the room. When checking the next morning for the bites I realized that it was a bed bug what I have seen and the marks over my body show enough evidence.

We had a 2-week family vacation in Italy, travelled to Rome, Florence, Naples and Palermo. Our stay at Olivuzza 27 in Palermo is by far the BEST! The room is spacious, well-appointed, clean. And, it has a kitchenette, so that we could cook dinner with the fresh ingredients bought from the supermarket nearby. The apartment is just a stone’s throw away from the town centre, we could go to different places just on foot. And it is located in a quiet and safe area. We didn’t have to worry even we walked back to the apartment after a night out. Our heartfelt thanks to the owner Salvo for his hospitality, who proactively offered us help in many ways. Salvo is friendly and caring. He speaks very good English too. He gave us very good recommendations for restaurants, attractions, useful apps. He helped us with laundry service after we were totally soaked in the pouring rain in one of the days. Each of the small touch have made us feel very welcomed. We had a very memorable trip in Palermo. If you happen to travel to Palermo, Olivuzza 27 is the PERFECT choice, trust me.
