Guest UserThis hotel is an older five-star property. While some of the facilities are a bit dated and a few might have minor operational issues, the overall experience is still good. The room hygiene is quite satisfactory, and the location is particularly convenient. It's close to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and also the museum, library, and science museum. Thank you.

SophiaXThe hotel is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic design. I love the color scheme and all the decorative details – it feels very stylish and modern. Lucky, the welcoming dog, is also adorable! The room is spacious with a great view, and the small appliances are high-end. There are also many thoughtful functional details. The breakfast restaurant is large with a rich variety of options, and the service is excellent. Downstairs, there's a mall and a subway station, which was perfect for traveling with kids; they absolutely loved it. For a hotel of this caliber, the price offers great value for money.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise during our trip; the kids and our dog were very happy with it, as it had a large bathtub and a small garden. Since we were leaving very early the next day, our butler, Jiqing, thoughtfully packed breakfast and provided a lot of information on sightseeing and dining options. Leshan is a treasure trove of a city; besides the Giant Buddha, there are many other fun places to visit. I would definitely choose to cycle solo for a thousand miles again next time.

So glad we chose this forest hotel; it really added a unique touch to our trip. It's located deep inside Zhongzhagou Valley, which is already stunning. If you're not in a rush to get to Jiuzhaigou, you could easily spend a few extra days here. There's even a hiking trail behind the hotel if you're into that. We were incredibly lucky and spotted wild rabbits on the lawn in the afternoon, evening, and early morning!
The hotel also offers dining, and there are ******* restaurants in the village. However, you'll find more options down the mountain, which is only about a fifteen-minute drive away.
We had to leave after breakfast to head to Jiuzhaigou, but we definitely could have stayed another day to explore the surrounding scenery.

Guest UserThe hotel's scenery is exceptionally beautiful, with a Chinese-inspired design and blessings extended to every guest. The courtyard is adorned with crape myrtle, pomegranates, and magnolia flowers, creating a sense of abundant beauty and prosperity. Flower-lined paths lead to picturesque spots, making every step a delight, and allowing one to forget all worries and simply immerse in the moment. The public hot springs are spacious, available both indoors and outdoors. The rooms are private villas, some with their own hot spring baths, and the温泉 water is natural radon spring water. The front desk managers, Helen and Li Yilin, were very attentive. I would definitely choose Fairmont Chengdu Hot Springs again if I have the chance; it must be even more beautiful in the autumn. This was a wonderful trip.

Guest UserThe room has a long, narrow layout with a sunken sofa that leads directly to the balcony. The walk-in closet is hidden, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, though I found the showerhead a bit old-fashioned. The hairdryer is a Laifen. The room key card feels quite premium. Breakfast options were limited and lacked variety; all three of us in my party thought the noodles weren't good. The lobby is quite nice, and the room itself is quiet. The service staff were friendly, and the shuttle service to and from destinations was prompt. The complimentary travel photoshoot was excellent and we were very happy with it.

Guest UserOverall, my stay was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff were attentive and efficient during check-in and check-out, and very pleasant to communicate with – they were quick to assist with any requests. The room was clean and bright, the bedding was very comfortable, and it was quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety, and the chicken noodle soup was a definite highlight – the broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were smooth. It was wonderfully warming in the morning. All the facilities were well-maintained. Considering the overall value for money, it's a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended, and I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Guest UserThe biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the scenic area entrance, saving us time on taxis and traffic jams in the morning. Although it's a bit pricey, the convenience is definitely worth it.
The hotel breakfast also gave us a chance to try ******* barley bread and yak butter tea. Without the pressure of sales promotions, we could really appreciate the local food in a relaxed setting.
The hotel offers spa and sauna facilities, a gym, washing machines, and dryers.
Just a few minutes' walk upriver from the hotel, there are many restaurants, and a post-meal stroll along the river is very pleasant.
