Upon entering the room, I must admit I was a bit disappointed. The room was quite small, almost like it was designed for children, with a very low toilet, a tiny bathtub (which I didn't end up using), and a rather small bed. The desk was also very low. However, after staying for two days, I was completely won over by the professional team. All the staff members were incredibly professional; not overly enthusiastic, but exceptionally well-trained. Even during the May Day holiday with a huge crowd, everything ran smoothly and in an orderly fashion. I especially want to mention the lovely lady who assisted us in the executive lounge on the first day while we waited for our room, and whom I also saw at breakfast the next day. She had no 'bossy' airs at all; she was very warm, friendly, and energetic, and it was easy to be positively influenced by her. I apologize for not remembering her name. The housekeeping service was also meticulous and efficient. Breakfast was absolutely delicious; both the Western pastries and the Chinese noodle bar were outstanding, with fresh and tasty ingredients. Although the executive lounge on the 37th floor didn't have a huge variety of food, what they offered was very good. Despite the room being small, the bedding was very comfortable. Even though it was a sealed room, the air was fresh with no strange odors, and the air conditioning temperature was comfortable with no noise. Our family of three practically fell asleep instantly on both nights. The only regret was that, presumably due to the high occupancy during the May Day holiday, we couldn't enjoy the room upgrade benefit that came with our Trip.com booking. However, our requests for a high floor, a quiet room, and a non-smoking room were all met. Overall, it was a good stay. While the room hardware had some minor shortcomings, the professional service provided by the dedicated team more than made up for it.

Traveling with kids, we chose the Mianyang Sheraton for safety, hygiene, and comfort. The front desk staff were warm and polite, even giving my child a small gift when we left. The breakfast had a rich variety of options, and the Mianyang pork intestine rice noodles were delicious. The only downside was that there were only two elevators, and our room was on a high floor. However, the price was very reasonable, not expensive at all. Highly recommend! 👍🏻

Service: Extremely satisfied! Before checking in, I communicated that I was traveling with a child and hoped for some kid-friendly arrangements. The staff responded promptly and meticulously decorated the room with balloons and a small astronaut lamp, which my child adored. They also gifted a chestnut children's picture book and a little lion fridge magnet, and had child amenities, plus two cute rubber duckies, ready in advance. My child was thrilled, and we, the adults, were equally pleased! 👍 When my child wandered to the front desk, a staff member proactively gave them a puzzle. During check-in and check-out, they were very helpful with inquiries and directions, and assisted with luggage, demonstrating excellent service.
Daily Double Ritz-Carlton Executive Lounge Benefits: Five meals a day truly filled us up! The main courses were cooked fresh by a chef on-site, and other dishes, though not numerous, were exquisite. I particularly loved the wide selection of salads! There was a great variety of alcoholic beverages, and you could even mix your own cocktails in the evening. All the staff were wonderful and thoughtful. Although the late-night meal was primarily for drinks and children couldn't dine, they brought back several hash browns and chocolates for my child, which was super satisfying. For breakfast, we went downstairs for a wider selection. The panda latte art was adorable, and they even offered lunchboxes for kids to take food with them, very kid-friendly! 👍
Hygien: The room was very clean, amenities were promptly replaced, and turn-down service was proactively offered. Coming back to a clean and tidy room after a day out truly lifts your spirits! 👍

A fantastic choice right next to Anshun Bridge and the lively bar street. There’s a constant buzz of nightlife just below your windows, yet from your room you’re soaking in a stunning view of Chengdu’s skyline - a contrast that makes the stay feel alive.
Honestly, I didn’t want to leave the hotel.
Yes, the furniture is slightly dated, just as others mention, but it actually adds to the hotel’s character and understated elegance rather than detracting from it. There’s a sense of old-school luxury here that newer hotels often miss.
Breakfast at the Horizon Club Lounge was exceptional - easily one of the highlights of the stay.

I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Chengdu, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made me feel like I was returning home, not just checking into a hotel. Every touchpoint—from the seamless check-in to the delightful breakfast service and the ever-smiling lobby staff—was filled with genuine care and attentiveness. It’s rare to find a team that consistently goes above and beyond, but the JW Marriott Chengdu truly embodies the spirit of heartfelt hospitality. What elevated our stay from wonderful to absolutely perfect was Xiaoxiao (小肖). Her communication was not only professional and timely but also incredibly detailed and caring. She took the time to understand our needs and thoughtfully coordinated every little detail to make our Mother’s Day trip smooth, stress-free, and unforgettable. Thanks to Xiaoxiao, my mother felt truly celebrated and cherished throughout our stay. This is actually the hotel I regularly stay at when I am in Chengdu, because of its central location. It never disappoints.

hotel review:
I had a really good stay at the Joy Air Hotel, especially because I had an early morning flight. The hotel was very convenient since they offered early luggage check-in and fast-track security access at the airport, which made the whole process much smoother.
The room was really clean, tidy, and spotless, which made the stay even more comfortable, although there was some disturbing noise around midnight. My room was on the seventh floor, which was quite high up, but unfortunately I could still hear loud door-banging noises around midnight. The noise was disturbing for a while, although it stopped around 1 a.m., and after that I was able to sleep properly.
Breakfast had a nice variety of food and the atmosphere was pleasant. I found some of the hot dishes a bit oily for my taste, so I mainly enjoyed the cold food, salad, and bread section instead.
The staff were attentive and friendly throughout my stay, and their service made a positive impression.

My stay at the Minyoun Hotel in Chengdu this time was absolutely perfect! I especially want to commend the hotel's butler service – meticulous, thoughtful, always ready to help, warm, and attentive. Everything was arranged seamlessly. In my free time, I explored the streets and alleys of Chengdu, immersing myself in the city's vibrant atmosphere. There was an abundance of spicy, fresh, and fragrant butter hotpot, tender and flavorful skewers, authentic 'maocai' (a spicy hotpot-like dish), and all sorts of local snacks. Every bite was genuine Sichuan flavor. The heartwarming butler service coupled with the enticing Chengdu cuisine made this trip incredibly fulfilling. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Chengdu!

The surprises of coming to Ya'an were all contracted by this hotel! As soon as I entered the door, I was pinched by the atmosphere of the silence aesthetics. The combination of logs and light and shadows was gentle and healing, which was completely the hidden luxury in the city. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft, and I didn't want to get up when I lay on it. The courtyard view outside the window was a plus, which was too pleasant.
Hotel location is also super convenient, ten minutes walk from Ya'an Station, eating and shopping around is very convenient. In the afternoon, I have an afternoon tea in the garden, and I go to the pool to blow the hair in the evening. I feel that the whole person has slowed down. It is a treasure hotel that will be bought back indefinitely!

This hotel boasts an excellent environment and is incredibly close to the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, just a few minutes' walk to the entrance. The room facilities are quite upscale, and the soundproofing is fantastic. Each room comes with underfloor heating, air conditioning, and a small tatami tea room. It was truly delightful to enjoy the underfloor heating, sip tea, and admire the snowy views from the window – perfect for a relaxing, slow-paced trip to Jiuzhai with family or friends. The hotel's ground floor lobby offers a spacious public area with complimentary tea, coffee, and pastries. The coffee quality, in particular, was surprisingly good! Additionally, the breakfast spread is extensive, and the staff are professional and provide excellent service. The hotel is also conveniently located near the shuttle bus pick-up point for direct service to both Jiuzhai and Songpan high-speed rail stations, just a 7-8 minute walk away. I highly recommend this high-value-for-money hotel for anyone traveling to Jiuzhai; its quality easily rivals five-star establishments.

First time visiting Chengdu, and my first stay at a St. Regis – the experience was simply wonderful! The location is great, very close to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and IFS, all just a few hundred meters walk away. As for the hardware, the overall decor and ambiance are exactly my style – soft, understated luxury. The room was very cozy, and the amenities were complete and thoughtfully arranged. Now, onto the service – it was beyond amazing. All the staff were incredibly humble and polite, and their service language clearly indicated rigorous professional training. They promptly and efficiently addressed every request we had, providing quick follow-ups. After a long day of exploring, returning to the hotel with tired feet, opening the door always felt like coming home. Not only was the room impeccably clean, but the way items were laid out seemed to anticipate and cater to guests' habits and preferences. You could genuinely feel the effort and care the staff put into understanding guests when tidying the room. The most delightful surprise was that the hotel noticed my birthday and promptly sent a cake – it was such a warm gesture. My favorite hotel used to be the Ritz, but this stay has made the St. Regis my priority for all future travels. I believe this doesn't just reflect the high standards of the St. Regis Chengdu, but rather exemplifies the service standards and philosophy of the entire St. Regis Hotel Management Group. Heartfelt thumbs up! 👍👍

Good location 5 min from the metro in Tianfu Square. There is a swimming pool and has a nice breakfast buffet. Rooms are very clean and cosy.
I have to appreciate for Jasmine’s help throughout my 2 nights stay at this Hyatt. She helped me alot with her great attitude to make my anniversary with my girlfriend more memorable. A big thank for her. (Hope to join her hosted event next time 😉 This hotel is pretty new, still having some potential shortages that are waiting to be enhanced: 1. the variety of the breakfast is limited, especially for the hot dishes. Original taste for beef tender noodles is too blend. Beef potstickers are popular, can make more in every turn. 2. One more box of tissue paper can be placed by the sink. 3. Greeters should also help for carrying luggages even for the customer that are leaving Overall, still a big thumbs up for this brand new Hyatt.
Great service and room, I enjoyed the house personally, and my family loved the environment of the whole place. Special thank to Shirley, who contributed a lot, and arranged everything well and neat.
The environment is quiet and comfortable, not noisy, the rooms are clean and fresh, well-lit, the bedding is dry and breathable, the facilities are in good condition and without faults, the staff Amy and Zoe are attentive and efficient, the details are thoughtful, the value for money is outstanding, and the stay is extremely comfortable.👍
I recently stayed at the Grand ParcVue Hotel Residence Chengdu and was blown away by the spacious 2-bedroom apartment suite! The room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a kitchenette, washer/dryer, and living area. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Chengdu near Tianfu Square and Jinjiang Hotel Metro Station. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay feel like home. We also enjoyed the hotel's amenities, including the indoor pool, gym, and sauna. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Chengdu.
Our family trip with three families turned out to be a delightful experience. The hot spring and its beautiful surroundings made the visit truly enjoyable. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The mutton pot with fungus tray was so delicious that we ordered it twice on both days—it’s definitely a must-try dish. The handmade noodles were also very tasty. Overall, it was a worthwhile place to visit in the cold season.
