Stay experience was really nice! Very spacious rooms and bathrooms for families!
Very happy with the service as well.
Supportive staff available always.
We did not try the food because of vegetarian restrictions.
very convenient location, many cafes and shops nearby. We really liked PARCO. The Hiroshima Peace Museum and Peace Memorial Park are a 20-minute walk away. There is a tram stop opposite the hotel, which allows you to get to any part of the city and Hiroshima station is not very far away. The stay was comfortable, we liked everything.
2-minutes walk from Hiroshima station, with a Lawson directly below the hotel. Clean and quite a spacious room (by Japan standard) Enjoyed our stay there with the convenience it brings.
The hotel is so close with the tram (so called streetcar in Hiroshima). So if u’re tired of walking u can take the tram anywhere.
But for the cleanliness, it’s clean but i found out hair in the bathtub, that’s fine. Just hope they can be more precise on cleaning the room.
Room is comfy, the staffs are so friendly. The breakfast is good. Would like to be back to this city and stay at the hotel.
Comfortable modern hotel within walking distance of Hiroshima station.
Room was clean and had all we needed for one night stay.
Staff speaks English and was friendly and polite. We checked out early (6 am) to explore Miyajima and they kept our bags for us until evening.
Would recommend.
I had an exceptional stay at your hotel! The room was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring every need was met promptly and professionally. The amenities were top-notch, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. I truly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of my stay. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience—I can’t wait to return!
The hotel was located next to Hiroshima Station, which was very convenient. On the opposite street, there is a Lawson and a 7-Eleven, which was really nice.
About the hotel itself, it was clean, well-maintained, and the rooms were spacious enough for two people with two large suitcases. The room had all the amenities we needed.
We absolutely loved two things in this hotel that we didn’t experience in other hotels, or at least not as nicely. First, the pyjamas were amazing! Normally in Japan, you get a bathrobe-style or lab coat-style pyjama, but this hotel provided a really comfortable two-piece set with a long short and T-shirt, which both my partner and I loved. The second thing we really liked was the bench with an integrated table, which was super convenient for having breakfast or meals in the room.
There were two things we didn’t like about this hotel. We stayed for three nights and did not request room cleaning, which you would assume would make things easier for the cleaning staff. We made sure to put all our used towels in a plastic bag every day and also our garbage outside the door so we could get fresh towels. On one occasion, we didn’t receive a pyjama, which was fine, so I went downstairs to the reception to get it. On another occasion, a towel we left on the floor was not replaced, and I didn’t bother going to reception for it.
The second issue was the laundry machine. While the hotel has an excellent system to check availability and timing for each machine on the 10th floor, the machine itself was not very effective. I had less than 1 kg of clothes and used the <1 kg option, which takes 80 minutes to wash and dry, but after 80 minutes, my clothes were still very wet. I then used the 30-minute drying option, but even after that, they were still damp. These were just underwear, socks, and two very thin sweaters, no jeans or thick items, yet the machine struggled to dry them in 110 minutes. In the end, I gave up and took the laundry with me to my next destination.
One small other issue: on the second night, YouTube stopped working, and we were unable to watch TV at all in the room, and this was not fixed, even after turning the TV on and off.
This Hotel is fantastic and I’d absolutely stay here again.
The onsen on the top floor features a large communal bath and a sauna.
The bed is very comfortable and there’s also a mini fridge for chilling drinks.
They have a self service Laundry with separate dryers on the ground floor next to the rather unused Internet lounge.
The breakfast in the morning was very filling with a great variety of soups, salads, congee, breads and proteins.
It’s only a short stroll to Hiroshima Station for a great range of local delicacies like Okonomiyaki.
Staff were attentive and helpful speaking a little English.
Will gladly stay again. Arigato Gozaimasu!
Perfect for travelers willing to explore onomichi or to start the biking of the Shimanami. It is located right by side of the ferry to start the biking itinerary. The hotel is offering comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a convenient location. There are a on-site amenities, including meeting rooms, biking racks and a restaurant. They offered us room upgrade to a larger room for free. Highly recommended!
Great room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

OOsama BoussifI think it is unfair that this hotel has a low score on Trip.com. The reason I say this is because people were either looking for a “cheap hotel” in Hiroshima and were surprised by how far it is from Hiroshima Station and the city center, or they assumed the hotel was located on Miyajima Island.
Since there are only five reviews on Trip.com as I am writing this, I want to make clear who this hotel is suitable for and who it is not.
This hotel is perfect for people who want to stay as close as possible to the Miyajima ferry and spend just one night before heading to the island the next morning. You can reach the ferry either by walking (around 30 minutes) or by taking the local tram (around a 10–15 minute ride).
This hotel is not a good fit if you want to stay in Hiroshima and explore the city. It is not close to Hiroshima Station, the city center, or any sightseeing spots. The area around the hotel also offers nothing, there were no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so take that into account.
However, if your plan is to stay one night and go to Miyajima Island as early as possible the next morning, and you are traveling with limited luggage (do not bring large suitcases or any heavy luggage), then this hotel is a good choice. We had our main luggage sent to our hotel next to Hiroshima Station and only carried a small 5 kg carry-on with clothes for the next day. The walk from the nearest metro station to the hotel was about 10–15 minutes, and it was not as difficult as some reviews made it sound. Just use Google Maps and you will be fine.
About the hotel itself, because of what we read, we expected nothing, but we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in process, done by machine, was instant and smooth with no issues at all. Sometimes I really wonder what people are doing when I read their experiences.
The room itself was more than fine. You have all the amenities you need, the room was spacious enough for two people with luggage, the bed was big enough for us, the hotel was clean, and overall it felt like a good hotel. I was even surprised that the hotel had a laundry room.
MMattia FinottiThe hotel is in perfect position and 5 mins walk from both Peace Park memorial and museum.
The room was really comfortable and ok for a night stay.
Unfortunately, it was a bit humid and the bathroom too small.
The receptionist was very kind.

LlkjidmThis was my second stay at a Livemax hotel, and it was excellent once again! This time, I chose the branch located in Funairi-machi.
The location is superb, conveniently close to both Funairi-machi Station (Line 6) and Komachi Station (Line 2). The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, parks, beautiful river views, and even drugstores.
The service was good, and the facilities were comprehensive. I especially appreciated the large TV, which made for a very comfortable viewing experience.
The only minor drawback was that the duvet had a somewhat strange texture and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's truly an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima!
GGuest UserInitially we booked the wrong night by mistake. I immediately had sent letter to the host, just 2 minutes after that mistake. And at first, host said, that they would refund without any problems, but after that he turned down our ask for refund and offered only date change, which was the problem, because the price was 2.5x more on the dates, that we needed and we would never stay at the place so expensive. In the end we had to make additional payment to stay for only one night, just to not loose the first money transfer.
And host refused to talk about why he changed his initial position and what is wrong with the refund 2 months prior to the stay. Even that we had assured him, that it was really a mistake (confused ”mar” and ”may” in the app) and sent him our plane tickets,.
He also told us, that he can't give us refund, because he prepared the room and because of the booking he couldn't rent room to another person and lost money, which I find highly unlike, since the first response from him was very quick and the wrong booking was made 2 hours before midnight, so it's very unlikely, that someone else would rent it.
Overall, I don't think that it could be considered as hospitality.
The place itself is nice, if booked for an appropriate price. Don't expect luxury, but a simple, spacious room with a balcony and a view on the road and trees.

JJianhongdehongThe room was clean, check-in was quick, breakfast was filling, and it was close to Hiroshima Train Station, making it very convenient for sightseeing in the city and going to Miyajima and Iwakuni. You can store your luggage after checking out in the morning, come back in the afternoon to pick up your luggage, and take the Shinkansen back to Osaka, arriving at 7 o'clock.
JJulianneThis hotel is clean and comfortable
however it is lacking some modern facilities. it is quite dated and there was paint falling off in the bathroom and hallways. the beds were very comfortable although there was only one small
pillow. The main issue with the room was the lack
of electrical sockets. there was only
one electrical socket for the whole room which was hidden beside a curtain nowhere near the beds. This was quite inconvenient. the room was very warm and it’s just spring time at the moment (April) and the air conditioning is controlled by reception. We asked and they said to turn it up
to max and it was still roasting so i don’t think i’d reccomend staying here in summer. Location was ok beside some beautiful parks and the river which was lovely for a morning run and it’s not too far from the peace park and the main streets and areas. overall we had a lovely stay but just felt for the price certain things fell short and the hotel needs to be modernised a bit.
GGuest UserNice.ryokan in Miyajima. The ryokan is located quite far up a hill from the station but they provide free transportation to and from the hotel.
Both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were excellent. The service was impeccable.
It is located about a five minute walk from Itsukushima shrine .
Room was good with two single beds.
Onsen has both indoor and outdoor pool.
Would highly recommend this place.
