3-Star Hotels in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

The location is perfect as it is less than 10 minute walk to the atomic dome. We are a family of 4 and we booked the large suite. Water pressure was great, space was great, breakfast was great and service was great and price point is great. Only thing I must say like other commenters is that it is very outdated and in need of updating. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling since there was no ventilation. I guess that’s why it is a very good value since it is really outdated but pretty clean. The parking is not at the hotel but a few blocks away at an affiliated parking lot but they give a special rate (¥1200 per day parking from 2pm-11am). Overall I highly recommend this hotel for the service and great value.

There's no parking available, and the surrounding car parks are extremely expensive. I stayed one night and it cost me 5000 yen, which was definitely not worth it. The room was quite spacious with a large bed, and breakfast was included.

The location of the hotel is along a main street. It's just 15 minutes away from the Atomic Bomb Dome on foot. On the way there one can pass by the main shopping street. It's also just 1 minute away from the tram station to Hiroshima Station, which is 10 minutes away by tram or 30 minutes on foot. The hotel is clean and it provides breakfast, basically bread and coffee but that's already good enough given the price paid for the accommocation.

Room was well equipped with amenities, with sufficient space for luggage to open. Toilet was spacious and the floor will not be flooded after taking a bath or shower. Location is good, near to the bus stop for the tram or walkable from the Hiroshima JR station (accessible by lift and escalators without having to carry luggage up any stairs).

Great location, 5 mins walk (flat surface) from Hiroshima Station, convenient store exactly next to the hotel. Great service from front desk staffs, proactively assisting guests during check in. Self-service luggage storage available, just simply lock it with the IC card (Transportation card). However, it’s quite full during check out time, consider to use the paid lockers (¥500-1200) at Hiroshima Station if needed (next to the station taxi stand, ＜5 mins walk from the hotel) Spacious rooms, with individual air conditioning/ heater, and humidifier. The room is neat and clean, no weird smells, there’s a window as well. Amenities are provided, located next to the front desk. Overall great experience with Sotetsu Hotel, definitely worth the price.

I was surprised from the entrance! It felt kind of retro?! Overseas?! It was wonderful👍🏻It was close to the station, there was a convenience store next door, and the room was spacious. (Room for 3 people) The bathtub and toilet were separate! It's so convenient. I'd like to stay here again next time I come to Hiroshima!

Near main shopping street. Provide bunk bed and private rooms. Staffs can speak with different kinds of languages. And it seems famous amongs western travellers. Will give another stays here when Hiroshima again!!!

The hotel staff was very friendly and always ready to help when you enter the hotel. They also understands English when my Japanese fails me haha. They have a coffee machine that one can use once a day behind the staircase. They also have breakfast in buffet style only for ¥500. I find it quite delicious, you can purchase the ticket at the counter. You have buy in advance as it might run out. The location is very convenient its less than 5 minutes walk to the closest tram station. It is also close the atomic bomb museum. You can also borrow mama chari(bicycle) from the hotel for up to 4 hours. It is convenient for getting food or go to the peace park. They have sleepwear and amenities you can take opposite the front desk.

There was a crowd during check-in, but the hotel staff efficiently handed out queue numbers, allowing guests to wait comfortably on the sofas. The room I got was perfectly quiet, which was great! Since it's a business hotel with a high turnover, if you need to sleep in a bit later during the day, you can call the front desk beforehand to arrange a suitable room cleaning time. This way, you can get a better rest in the morning. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, but you can pay to extend it for ¥1,000 per hour. The hotel also has laundry machines and a public bath on the top floor, making it excellent value for money. The staff provided great service too. Highly recommended!

The Washington hotel in Hiroshima is positionally one of the best hotels that I had the pleasure of staying at as it is located directly beside a PARCO and a Don Quijote. In addition to that, directly opposite of the hotel is a Familymart convenience store and there is also a Sukiya positioned behind the hotel. The hotel is also located roughly 15-20 minutes away from Hiroshima station ( by streetcar) and roughly 10 minutes away is a round one stadium. The hotel’s staff were helpful and accomodating and when my friend and I encountered an error with the check in counter, one of the staff dropped what they were doing just to manually check us in. We would recommend this hotel for those who wish to have great convenience at their fingertips along with a very comfortable stay in Hiroshima
