3/Apr/2026 Reception is helpful even though we arrived at 11am, she helped to store our luggages snd gave full explanation. Close to Sendai station but aware of losing direction so be sure to ask local for direction first when heading to hotel. Breakfast is excellent and those ladies worked in the canteen were professional. Quiet and sleep well. Lots of amenities were placed near the elevator at G/F. Lucky that day were sunny so using the Loople bus to get around but the next day (4/Apr/2026 Unfortunately it rained and getting cold at Matsshima

Sendai has become my second favorite city in Japan. It offers the perfect blend of chill and urban vibes — not as crowded as Tokyo, Osaka, or Sapporo, yet equally lively and enjoyable. This capsule hotel is located right along the main business street, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. There’s even an Ichiran Ramen just next door, and a famous Taiyaki shop only a 2–3 minute walk away. Sendai Station is about a 10-minute walk from the property. However, one downside is the confusing luggage policy. The hotel rules state that large luggage cannot be brought into the sleeping area, so I rented a chain lock (JPY 100) to secure my suitcase in the hallway. Despite this, many guests still brought their bags inside, so the rule seemed inconsistently enforced. For guests like me who followed the policy, it was a bit inconvenient since my capsule was quite far from the hallway and it was troublesome to retrieve my belongings each time.

Location was great, very convenient from Sendai station. Hygiene condition was also great. Room was tidy and clean. Love the interior of the lobby. I used self serve online check in - it was smooth. Amenities are self serve, available in the lobby.

Had another great stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sendai. The location remains one of its strongest points—very close to Sendai Station, making it extremely convenient for getting around the city and connecting to transport. The room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and efficient use of space. Everything was in good working condition and thoughtfully arranged for a smooth stay. Staff were polite, professional, and quick during check-in and check-out, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The overall environment of the hotel is consistent and reliable, which makes it a great choice for repeat stays. Overall, a solid and dependable hotel in Sendai with excellent convenience and value. Highly recommended for both business and short leisure trips!

Fantastic location! Right out of the west exit of the station, you just head past Parco to the ground level, walk through the morning market, and you're there. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel facilities are new, the rooms are clean, and there's plenty of space. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sendai.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the accommodation was larger than typical rooms in Japan, and the location was very convenient. We highly recommend it!

This hotel in Sendai is extremely friendly to international travelers. One of the staff members can speak Chinese, which was incredibly helpful for us. She assisted us with many things during our stay and helped arrange luggage storage before check-in, making everything very smooth and convenient. The room is also slightly larger compared to many hotels in Japan, which made the stay more comfortable. The location is excellent as well — it is very close to Sendai Station, and there are supermarkets and many shops nearby, making it very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and there is really nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Sendai.

It was fun to see the Shinkansen and conventional lines at the end of the 20th floor. It was a nice room. Apa has good amenities, isn't it? I feel special because I don't get to this room.

The hotel is located on the 2nd floor and without a clear hotel signage shown which made it hard for us the find even though we are using waze. If you are driving , this hotel is really not convenient as there is no hotel parking . Spent so much time to find the nearest parking spot when the parking adjacent to the hotel is full . No drop off at all in front of the hotel therefore you have to lug your luggages from parking to the hotel. The room is a little dated but pretty clean and very good price for a family of 4 . So before you book do weigh you are after convenience or on budget . The best thing the hotel can offers are right next to the shopping arcade, bath house and family room for 4.

The hotel was very dated and was also very small. The paint on the walls of our room looked like they were coming off at any time. However the bed was clean and the room was also decently cleaned. All the basic amenities were provided during my stay and the staff were also courteous and friendly! The hotel is also located about a 10mins walk away from JR Sendai station so it is definitely convenient. Overall, for the price you are paying it’s definitely worth it if you are just looking for a place to sleep for the night and go out in the day.
