This is our first time staying here. The location is highly convenient, with shopping, food, massage, and a salon all nearby. The host's customer service responded very quickly. Everything in this condo is new, and our family is happy to stay here. The only issue is the lack of kitchen utensils—no cups, no plates, no bowls. If you order food to the condo and want to eat there, it's not very convenient. Fortunately, the place is accessible to many locations and is kept clean, so we would still like to book here again.

The location of the hotel is very good and convenient, and the reception service was acceptable. However, the room was quite small, and cleanliness could be improved as the walls were dirty and there was hair on both the bed and the floor. On a positive note, the toilet was clean.

Have always been to this hotel if on a budget.But this time round the construction opposite was too loud…. Up till 9pm ish…. And after midnight it was the traffic.With cars honking and vehicles exhaust producing very loud sound.Didnt get good sleep….

Pros: The location is excellent, with plenty of halal dining options nearby and a small shopping mall just a few minutes’ walk away. The hotel is conveniently located about 25 minutes from the Mini Zoo and only 10 minutes from Desaru Beach. The room rates are affordable, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a connecting room, which we greatly appreciated. The room was also clean and comfortable. Cons: One major inconvenience was that the refrigerator automatically switched off whenever we left the room. After spending a long, hot day outdoors, it was disappointing to return and find our drinks no longer cold. On our first night, we requested an extra towel and toothbrush set since there were three guests in the room. Unfortunately, the items were not delivered, even after we followed up at the front desk. There was also no floor mat provided. Thankfully, our experience improved the next day thanks to Zamre at the front desk. He was friendly, helpful, and made sure we received everything we needed. He also ensured our room was ready by 1 PM. Zamre’s excellent service truly stood out and made a positive difference to our stay. He is probably the main reason we would choose to return to Fives Desaru on our next visit. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money, and with improvements in housekeeping responsiveness, the experience would be even better.

The location was great but at night there's too many sound pollution as the hotel is located in front of a main street. Maybe there's less noise during weekdays. My other issue was the showerhead was not great. It had too much clog build up thus affecting the flow of water although the water pressure of the hotel was really good. Other than that, everything was great !

this is best apartment stay thus far. location of apartment is good. the unit itself is well maintained, clean and considered quite new. will want to stay again! (oh swimming pool is big! kids love it!)

The price is good and there is a food street, convenience stores and a Watsons within the same shop lot area. Really good place! The room itself is a little run down, but not uncomfortable. The aircon goes down real cold and the water can go up to scorching hot. There’s a hairdryer. I would recommend you stay in a room with a window instead of a room without because the experience is so much better.

Stayed at Fives Hotel DNP JB for one night and overall I’m very happy with the stay. The room cleanliness was superb — really impressed. The beds were very comfortable, everything felt fresh and well maintained. The condition of the room was good and cozy, definitely a comfortable place to rest after a long day. The lighting and setup made the room feel warm and relaxing. The only downside for me was the lobby and location. The lobby feels a bit too simple and doesn’t really give that welcoming hotel vibe. Also, since it’s located at the old plaza area, the surroundings don’t feel very lively or comfortable, especially at night. But overall, for room comfort and cleanliness, I’m satisfied with the stay. Would still consider coming back for a short stay 👍

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Honestly, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced in my life. First of all, the bed is unbelievably hard — it feels more like sleeping on a wooden board than a mattress. On top of that, the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it almost impossible to fall asleep or stay asleep throughout the night. What made it even worse is the pillows. They are excessively hard and uncomfortably high, causing serious neck discomfort. I genuinely do not understand how any guest is expected to get a proper rest under these conditions. I even called the front desk to request a different pillow, but was told that all pillows are the same and cannot be changed. This kind of response is completely unacceptable for any hotel that claims to provide comfort and service. Overall, this stay was a terrible experience. I will definitely not return, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values a good night’s sleep. ------------------------------- Saya sangat kecewa dengan pengalaman menginap di hotel ini. Bantal sangat keras dan terlalu tinggi, menyebabkan ketidakselesaan pada leher. Saya benar-benar tidak faham bagaimana tetamu boleh mendapatkan rehat yang baik dalam keadaan seperti ini. Saya telah menghubungi kaunter hadapan untuk meminta penukaran bantal, tetapi diberitahu bahawa semua bantal adalah sama dan tidak boleh ditukar. Jawapan seperti ini langsung tidak boleh diterima bagi sebuah hotel yang kononnya menyediakan keselesaan dan servis. Secara keseluruhan, pengalaman ini sangat mengecewakan. Overall, I highly recommend Almas for anyone seeking a high-quality stay with great service and comfort. It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely return.
