3day 2night solo trip to Johor bahru , Malaysia. To go to miilehill hotel, walk From city square, go to the opposite site Public Bank building, go up the walkway beside it, turn left, go pass a few building, you will see the wisma HYT, the hotel is next to a India garment shop. Check in time 3pm, very strict. They charge early fee if you want to check in before 3pm. But you can leave your bags at the lobby free, although there is no luggage tags given. You leave at your own risk. Cash deposit RM50, return to the guest when check out. Check out time is before 12noon, after that charge late check out fee. ChecK out is fuss free, hand in your room card, the receiptist talked to housekeeping through walkie-talkie, then return the cash RM50. Free wifi throughout the building, password sign placed on the check in counter. The building lift button, tallest level is 5, for room number start with 9. Room is clean, come with 1 hair dryer, 2 drinking water bottle, disposable tooth brush, tooth paste, shower cap. No disposable slipper amd mini fridge in the room. The water dispenser is in the hallway, near the lift lobby. Bathroom cum toilet is shared by the whole floor, 1 for men, 1 for women(2 wash basin, 2 toilet cum shower cubicle). You need to walk out from your room to go to the hallway, so bring your own slippers. The room card must keep in the cardholder for the electric to power on, cannot use some name card to put in the cardholder to the current on. Room cleaning upon request only, message through the hotel's Whatsapp number. I accidently changed the aircon to fan mode, I requested the help message at 12.30am, he came and helped to change back the setting, standing at the opening door, didn't come into the room. Good for respecting the cleanliness of the floor. The floor is laminated wood, so you can go bare foot, although I found it soapy and prefer to wear slippers.

hotel was kinds to extend our late Check out. Our room was a collecting room but luckily the neighbours weren't too noisy. Sound barrier was poor and the ceiling fan was creaking. Safe wasnt working but they sent someone to fix it within 15 min. Toiletries were bare essential no hand towel only bath towels and hair dryer it's supplied. Despite these the rest was comfy and we'd a good night sleep.

excellent location with many food options downstairs! room was spacious and clean, but bed was rock hard (2 single beds combined to make 1 king bed)

1. Have books two rooms with bathtubs via Trip.com but when we checked in at the hotel, we found out that the booking has changed to rooms without bathtubs without informing us. We have paid extra $5 for each room. Please advise. 2. It would be good to have two room cards instead of one card per room.

The price is good and there is a food street, convenience stores and a Watsons within the same shop lot area. Really good place! The room itself is a little run down, but not uncomfortable. The aircon goes down real cold and the water can go up to scorching hot. There’s a hairdryer. I would recommend you stay in a room with a window instead of a room without because the experience is so much better.

Good budget hotel for short stays. Room is small but clean and tidy. Basic facilities are sufficient for an overnight stay. Considering the very affordable price (SGD 35), it offers fair value. The only issue is that the soundproofing could be improved, as noise from outside the room can sometimes be heard. Would recommend for travelers who are looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay.

Very new and clean I took the studio It is very spacious with most the items for a studio apartment needed. Respond was a bit slow though via the number given by the app. But someone messaged me later and it went smoothly

First time staying here with friends as we need an apartment instead of a hotel. Very convenient location just opposite the CIQ and unit is huge with a balcony even tho it is not quite maintained. Needs good cleaning though but overall is a good resting place for a night. Many eateries around so cant complain 😉

I stayed here for a business trip purely because it was cheap and the location was decent. However, the facilities are quite old. Plus, during my stay, there was ongoing renovation, leading to constant noise and dust. The hallways were also cluttered with stuff, which wasn't the case when I stayed here before. Honestly, the only positive I can say about this hotel is that it's clean, but the facilities are definitely outdated. It might be okay if you're traveling alone for business, but I wouldn't recommend it for a leisure trip.

The room is clean, the bed mattress is firm but the pillows are too soft. Only 3 pillows were given, so I took the liberty to use 2 pillows. So, my poor hubby used one and he did not sleep very well as the pillow was too soft. The toilet looked clean but on close inspection, there were many stains. The shower area has no door nor curtain, thus bathroom/toilet floor will inadvertently be wet after shower. The room has about 5 sockets but two of them were faulty. Having said the above, for the price paid I would say it was a good stay. My hubby thinks so too. I hope the management will look into the issues brought up and I believe after that it will be a much more pleasant stay.
