Had a great stay at Padi Hotel in Alor Setar! The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay really comfortable. The room was neat, cozy, and provided a relaxing environment after a long day. One thing I really appreciated was the strong and stable internet connection, which made it easy to work and stay connected during my trip. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone visiting Alor Setar who is looking for a clean, comfortable place with reliable WiFi. I would definitely consider staying here again!

We booked a family room come with a queen size bed and a single bed. The room is specious, enough to place our luggage. However, the aircon is not cold enough even though we have adjusted the temperature to the lowest. Other than this, we are satisfied. The hotel has own parking lots, which we no need to worry where to park our vehicle. The hotel location is strategic, located along Pantai Chenang.

Highly recommended because location is in the heart of Alor Setar. Walking distance to many attractions But bring your own shampoo and shower gel because they will just give u universal shampoo Ample free parking

Overall our stay at the hotel was pleasant. However, there is room for improvement regarding the early morning room cleaning. At around 8:30 a.m., the vacuuming and cleaning noises from cleaning staff in the room next to ours were quite loud, which made it difficult for us to get a good rest, especially so early in the morning. There is also cigarette smell in the corridor, but fortunately it was not spread into room. The staff receptionist is very friendly and made us feel welcome all the time. The bedsheet is clean and comfortable.

I had a pleasant stay at Urban Inn Alor Setar 😊 The location is very convenient, with plenty of food options and shops nearby, so everything you need is within easy reach. The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for a short stay. The check-in process was also smooth, and the staff were generally helpful. The hotel offers good value for money, especially if you’re looking for something simple and budget-friendly. The basic amenities provided were sufficient for a comfortable stay.   However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The WiFi connection can be inconsistent at times, and some facilities may feel slightly worn depending on the room.   Overall, it’s a good choice for a short trip or quick stay. The location was great. If you’ve already enjoyed plenty of time on the beach, this hotel is a nice next choice. It’s close to the beautiful Dataran Lang, less than 3 km away. The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast, and just around the corner you’ll find a laundry service and a traditional Nasi Lemak restaurant, which is very convenient.

I had a wonderful stay at The Bayou Hotel and would definitely come back again. The location is excellent. Pantai Tengah Beach is only about a 7-minute walk away and Pantai Cenang can be reached in around 15 minutes on foot. Every Night are there Fireshows. Grab rides were also easy to get whenever needed. What stood out the most was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and assisted with my luggage. Throughout my stay, I always felt comfortable, valued, and genuinely welcome. The room was beautiful, clean(they cleaned everyday) and very quiet. I also loved the pool area and the lovely views. Every morning, two complimentary bottles of water were provided and upon arrival I received a nice welcome snack set. The room amenities were excellent as well, including toothbrushes, a razor with shaving cream and many other thoughtful essentials. I also tried the food at the hotel and really enjoyed it. In addition, complimentary drinks were offered, which was a very nice touch. The only minor issue was that the shower water was more lukewarm than hot. However, considering the warm weather in Langkawi, this was not a problem for me at all. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel offers a wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and great value for money. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

I’d rate this hotel 4 out of 5 overall. The room wasn’t perfectly clean, but it was good for the price.The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. Check-in and especially check-out were a bit annoying due to the wait. The waterpark is excellent and the kids absolutely loved it. The restaurant was good, with reasonably priced food and a great sunset view. Breakfast was the weakest point, with limited options like eggs, bread, and noodles.

Promoting an 80s concept for a hotel, thats totally fine. BUT maintenance & facilities could be definitely brushed up more. Tv reception & wifi connection could be better. Yet tv just 3 local channels & wifi very poor connection. I would stay there again if there will be improvements.

It was a stone throw away from cenang beach so in a very good location. There was an Indian restaurant just downstairs and several other indian, vegetarian options (in food specifically, none pure vegetarian restaurants though). The staff was also very helpful. Facilities wise there was no balcony and had a small window facing a busy cenang walk or adjacent hotel however it was not that noisy due to the nearby road. But during our stay there was some quarrel some people who ruined our 1 night as there was a lot of banging doors, shouting for several hours around 3 am on 28th Mar'2026. Another big factor in this hotel is that there is no sound proofing across. The rooftop restaurant here is an independent restaurant and accepted only cash with limited options in buffet breakfast but was value for money. However, you can visit warung cafe, amani cafe and old town coffee restaurant among other breakfast options at walking distance away but do check their operating hours as langkawi in general is late at night and late to wake up culture. The amenities like dental kit, bathroom door mat etc are provided only upon request rather than default. There was a water dispenser opposite reception so own bottles can be refilled beyond 500 ml per person per day provided by the hotel.
