I thought this place was great. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The bathrooms were within our building which is great for cold nights. The communication was superb!

The motel room is very clean, the car also has a place to park, not far from the city center, and overall is good. The only thing is that the sound insulation is not very good. We live in a small villa facing the street. The single-story glass on the second floor is a bit noisy when there is a big car. But still recommended, the Chinese at the front desk are more lax

When I checked into the hotel that day, the front desk lady was very enthusiastic, introduced the basic situation of the hotel, and specially said that the door was closed at night, how to open the door, and then introduced the parking spot for the Christchurch bus, and walked less.

Great location right by a beautiful lake — perfect for the scenery. The accommodation was generally clean and comfortable, and the bathroom in particular was well-maintained. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, a toaster, and microwave. However, some of the cookware could use a proper clean as there is burnt residue on them, and a few of the stovetops don’t work reliably. Cleanliness could be improved overall, as there was some rubbish under the bed. The walls are quite thin, so noise can be an issue — you can hear people walking up and down, as well as doors banging from guests coming in and out of rooms. It’s worth noting that guests need to bring their own towels, make their own beds on arrival, and ***** the sheets before leaving. Overall, a pleasant stay in a fantastic location, with just a few practical improvements needed.

The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from the airport. There is a gas station nearby, which is convenient for late arrivals. The key is placed in a box at the front desk door, which is very convenient for self-check-in. The TV in the room is very new and can watch YouTube. The kitchen is a bit small, but the things are quite complete. There is a bottle of milk in the refrigerator, which I thought was left by the previous guest. The room has a private bathroom, which is good. It is very cost-effective for many people. The supermarket is 10 minutes drive away.

Because I booked rooms in Tekapo and Tzeville too late and couldn't get any, I stayed here instead. It was my first time staying in a motel, and overall it was okay. The water and heating were good, but it was still quite noisy.

A 15-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd, this place has a quiet and lovely courtyard with blooming flowers. Check-in and check-out are self-service with key retrieval and return. This time I booked a room with a shared bathroom, but it was conveniently located right next to my room in the same building. There's also a large communal kitchen and dining area, which is great for preparing your own meals.

The location is good. The room windows are quite old and the soundproofing is very poor. The music from some bar outside was very noisy at night, but it quieted down by midnight. The bathroom layout was a bit confusing; it took me a while to find things the first time. There were some small flying insects in the room, but they didn't bite. I booked this hotel for the convenience of taking my luggage to pick up the car the next day, as it's very close to the car rental company.

Room is a bit cramped when full, but when I stayed we had people come and stay for one day only. So not too full. I can’t state enough, I love the idea of turning historic jail to accommodation, which is incredible idea. Kitchen is clean and huge, each bed has their own storage for pantry things in the kitchen, cozy corner is wonderful, books and puzzles! Love loveee! They have two best employees; pumpkin and onion🐈⬛🐈 If you like walking, it’s just 30is min to city centre and there where botanical garden is.

This Hotel is part of a bar and other facilities. Bathrooms and kitchens are shared and there is only a wash basin in the room. Generally quite quiet despite music and live bands in the evening. Friendly service and about 15 minutes into the CBG by bus. A 24 hour Mcdonald's is 50 metres up the road.
