3-Star Hotels in Sardinia, Italy

We stayed 4 nights and the only two positive notes of the hotel are the central and very convenient location and the very courteous staff. From the photos I had very high expectations which were completely disappointed. We were assigned a room with a window that overlooked an extra wall covered by scaffolding which made it very dark. The furnishings leave much to be desired as they are dated and an unpleasant smell inside the room. On the second day we used the room cleaning service and the bubble bath was not replaced. For what we paid I expected a lot more considering that breakfast was not included in the price either.

This is a unique boutique hotel experience. The concept is a great one for artist lovers and those who crave something distinctive while across from the Port in Cagliari. Our room was stunningly decorated and a treat to come to. HOWEVER, it was unbearably small. I would recommend that you consider the largest room available. We had little room for our luggage and had to climb over things to get to the other side of the room. We are small statured people and it was still a struggle. The hotel is green conscious. Had great food, and the best coffee on the island. If you require dependable WiFi and internet, DO NOT STAY HERE. The connection dropped throughout our 5 day stay and on our last evening, the power went out for the entire evening, over a 12 hour period. For about 5 hours, the power came on and off, but kept kicking off. We were never provided with an explanation for it, just that our side of the building was affected and that they were looking into the situation. At 12 midnight, I demanded an explanation, and the staff person basically said that they were told the matter would be fixed by the city centre by 9PM BUT by midnight there was nothing that could be done according to the staff. By 9PM there was NO POWER to us until approximately 7AM and nothing was offered to us to make up for the situation. I asked for a refund for the evening but the working staff refused to accommodate us, they had no authority to follow through with anything. We had prepaid through our travel agent, who now tells us that we needed to deal with the hotel directly. Our time on Sardinia was a lovely dream come true, HOWEVER, this last night has left a real sour experience to our holiday.

Hotel is situated outside of the town. One visitor came for business and one for pleasure. Even though a BW elite member we were given a room on the first floor. These floors do not have an outside area. Reception staff are fantastic and friendly and helpful for recommendations. Our room overlooked the shabby building next door, dated room but clean, even though it has a small kitchenette you are not provided with any means to cook if you wanted to. Decor is dated, but bed is quite comfy. Breakfast... Is very disappointing, which seems to be the norm in Italy. Hardly any choice and nothing hot. Could not say I'd recommend for a holiday for pleasure but I was joining my husband for business.

The hotel is very well located in the old center of the city. All services are nearby, as well as good transport connections to the train station and the airport. The hotel is not suitable for people with reduced mobility because there are steep stairs. The apartments themselves are relatively spacious and functional. The downside was, at least in our room, that there was no window except for the stairwell. There was something wrong with the air conditioner in the room and it was really hot in the room. The bed was quite hard and the pillow was not bad. The fridge did not cool at all. On the other hand, the shower was really good and the bathroom spacious. The hotel didn't really have other services, but really all services are really close. However, I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cagliari.

Ein sehr gutes Hotel, mit dem besten Rezeptionisten seit Jahren. Herr Pier-Luigi hilft mit enormem Wissen ausgezeichnet weiter. Die Lage ist perfekt. Man kann zu Fuss alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbüffet und freundliches Personal. Ein Hotel zu finden, das auch noch eigene Parkplätze mitten in Sassari anbietet ist ein Glückstreffer. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Amazing stay at this hotel on our first visit to Sardinia! The staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming during our stay and always very happy to assist us. Rooms were cleaned to perfection, breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a couple of relaxing bike rides along the promenade! Bus route is also excellent to the centre as taxis are few and far between. We cannot wait to return!

 WOW, Fantastic, charming, welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, smiling, people who really enjoy their work and therefore make the client feel so at home. The hotel could have been a rundown rabbit hutch and it still would have felt great - but it isn”t. It's a cleverly designed, modern small hotel, each room (from what I saw) individually decorated but all following the same clean lines, very comfortable and calming neutral colours. Obviously the sea view rooms have the best views. Breakfast was delicious with a good varied menu and the hot course made on the spot. All in all a really delightful stay and it's ideally located right at the end of the Via Roma, 10 minutes from the train and bus stations. Grazie mille Eleonora, Angelo and Luca (Mattia in absentia) and of course the young ”breakfast” ladies.

Bellissima struttura, per la seconda volta noi non ci pentiamo di aver scelteo questo posto. Centrale, funzionale e ben servito. Unica pecca, il letto accanto alla porta non mi è piaciuto per niente, e soprattutto essendo la struttura occupata da incivili che urlavano ininterrottamente da quando entravano a quando uscivano, noi non abbiamo chiuso occhio la notte.

I stayed in this hotel one night because I had a flight at Cagliari airport quite early.The strengths of this hotel: it has a free apartment for cars, it is 10 minutes' drive from Cagliari airport, it was clean and smelling. As I had to leave the hotel at 4:50 a.m., the previous day I warned at the reception and made a bag with some breakfast products (a fruit juice, a chocolate croissant, two toasts and a compot) - missed a small bottle of water and The hotel was very good, the room was very small, and the room was very comfortable. I would return to this hotel again without hesiting if I look for a hotel near the airport for just a few nights.

We stayed two nights in Sardinia Domus, at the beginning and end of our trip week in Sardinia. That's very good twice. Well to know: breakfast is a plane in room, like a plane. So not terrible. For the rest, the welcome on Saturday night at 22:30 was perfect. The young man who hosted us offered a private parking 50m from the hotel. On the 2nd night we put the car in the park at the full station 5 minutes walk, but it was a little more expensive.

The B&B is centrally located but the quality and service are both quite poor. Our air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. It would run for a while and then shut off and the room got very hot. The doors to the apartment and all the rooms make a loud buzzing sound when you use the electronic key. This is a problem because you hear a lot of loud buzzing from the other rooms as people are coming and going. I discussed both issues with the owner but he explained neither is a problem. He said the air conditioning worked (it didn’t) and he said the sound the doors make exists in all hotels and isn’t annoying because it’s not continuous (never heard such a sound and definitely annoying). We also weren’t super happy with the quality of the room. Everything is just cheap ikea and it’s already showing quite a bit of wear. There also wasn’t anywhere to put your suitcase or to sit in the room (other than the bed). You should also be aware that there is no staff on site and all communication with the owner is over WhatsApp.

Ho soggiornato presso la struttura per tre notti e, nonostante la gentilezza dello staff, la mia esperienza è stata pessima. Possiamo infatti parlare di una vera e propria infestazione di scarafaggi all'ingresso dello stabile, per cui a ogni ora del giorno e della notte ne trovavo vivi o morti. Per due volte lo staff è intervenuto per rimuoverli, ma non è comunque ammissibile. Avrei voluto essere avvertita e avere la possibilità di scegliere se soggiornare là o no. Lo staff mi ha comunicato che è un problema comune alla città quindi mi chiedo perché non avvisare e perché le colleghe che soggiornavano nella stessa via non avessero lo stesso problema. A questo punto, almeno uno sconto sarebbe stato gradito. Lo stabile è piuttosto vecchio ma le stanze, situate al secondo piano, sono nuove e pulite, e dotate di capsule caffé, kit di cortesia, acqua e phon. La cucina comune è molto utile. Purtroppo c'è cattivo odore di umidità e la mia stanza non aveva finestre. C'era un cortiletto interno ma inutilizzabile per lo stato del tavolino e delle sedie, che non venivano puliti da un po'.

Lovely clean refurbished room. Excellent stay! In a quiet area of Alghero.

Proche d'Alghero en étant située au calme dans un endroit boisé à l'écart de la ville bruyante et animée. grande cour agréable autour du bâtiment hôtelier. VOITURE INDISPENSABLE Restée malheureusement juste une nuit avant de prendre l'avion ! Très proche de l'aéroport, idéal pour rendre la voiture le jour du départ et ne pas avoir à transporter ses bagages. Grande chambre, confortable et propre, literie correcte. Pas pu prendre le petit déjeuner car levée aux aurores. Tarif compétitif. Un bon restaurant très proche du B&B. Propriétaires aimables et disponibles. Je recommande et y retournerais à l'occasion.

I booked this hotel for a one night stay in a June through **********. My husband and I were flying into Alghero in the evening and leaving the next morning for other sites in Sardinia. Our flight was delayed and I emailed the hotel from the airport telling them we would be arriving rather late, around 10:30. When we arrived, there was no one there. We rang the bell and no one answered we called the number posted on the door for assistance for over 40 minutes and nobody answered the phone. We had no choice but to leave and find another place to stay - luckily we did. I phoned ********** who spoke with the hotel - they would not refund our pre-paid money for our stay. This was terrible service in my mind both from the hotel, and from **********. I have the record in my phone of the phone calls, and photos showing I was at the hotel. Still they saw fit to charge me for a room I did not use, even when I gave them as much advance notice as I could about the late arrival. I travel a lot for work and personally and have honestly never had such a terrible experience. I will not be using ********** anymore and certainly can’t recommend this establishment.
