3-Star Hotels in Limburg, Netherlands

Beautiful exterior, but the interior feels very dated. The whole place would benefit greatly from some investment. Economy rooms resemble dorms: creaky floors (charming at first, but disruptive at night with people using the shared toilets), sagging mattresses, a broken bedside light, only one chair, no decorations, and no ceiling light. I realize we booked an economy room, but this felt extremely basic. On the first night, a party went on until 1:30 am. Guests should be informed in advance, and events shouldn’t run so late if the property also functions as accommodation. It’s also a shame that tours of the abbey come at an extra fee; this could easily be included for guests. Overall, the place feels more focused on making money than investing in guest experience. Lots of potential, but currently disappointing.

Good stay near Valkenberg station, but tight for early conference goers The hotel is conveniently located near Valkenberg station. My room was nice and clean. I especially liked the leather chair – it's soft but still firm enough to sit and work for long periods, which was perfect for me. Breakfast was good, even though the variety was somewhat limited. However, breakfast starts at 7:00 AM. Since I had a conference at MECC (about a 14-minute walk plus a 20-minute train ride), I had to rush every morning to get there on time. If you have an early start, just be aware of that. Overall, a pleasant stay if your schedule allows a bit more flexibility in the morning.

Great castle hotel in romantic surroundings during Christmas holidays ❄️🎄we has also our christmas dinner and breakfast included. Rooms are specious , clean. Shower is amazing designed. Definitely coming back. We're Dutch and Vietnamese . Great done Vaeshartelt 🇳🇱🇻🇳❤️

The hotel staffs are super sweet and helpful. We‘d booked the family room and turned out very nice with the sleeping arrangements but the shower was a bit strange that as it as very open means no door ans it’s not really suitable for family thou. And the room sound proof is very bad we can hear everything too. location is great and if you don’t mind the noise it’s definitely a good choice.

This room with four single beds is larger than the bunk beds and more comfortable. Don't save that little money when traveling with a family. You should choose a larger room. It is simple and hygienic. The front desk is friendly. I left my luggage at the front desk for safekeeping the next day. I also noticed that the place where they put the luggage needs to be swiped by the front desk before entering, which is safer and more reliable.

Service staff has a good attitude, fresh breakfast, perfect equipment and convenient transportation

I choose this hotel because it is just 5 min walk from train station. And also very close to shopping and dining area. Check in is all automatic and is very easy. Room is big and clean the location makes it one of the best hotel for traveller

Facilities: I wanted to give all five points, because the facilities are not complete, I can give a low score. If you don't mind that there is no hair dryer and shower gel shampoo, you can book this Hygiene: Health is not bad Environment: The environment is OK, but there is no parking lot. Need to park next to the paid parking lot Service: Service is OK, no hair dryer can at least find the front desk Overall, it doesn't feel like a hotel, more like a homestay

Great location; walking distance to the centre. Friendly staff and appreciate the welcome snacks and lounge area with free coffee and tea. Definitely will stay again when on business trip again in the city.

Booked during a very warm period. Despite the room not having air conditioning, the room stayed pleasantly cool due to the age of the building. Not everything on the menu was available, but we still enjoyed our meal.
