"The annex where I stayed had a bit of a retro feel. However, the views from the main building's rooftop and the poolside are absolutely stunning when it's sunny. Just for these views alone, it was worth staying here."

The hotel is within walking distance to Phewa Lake, and there are many small shops nearby to browse. They offer umbrellas for rent at the front desk on rainy days. The laundry service is paid and outsourced. There seemed to be a communication breakdown among the front desk staff, as I had to go up and down multiple times. The second time I used the wash and dry service, some of my clothes got mixed up with another guest's. That guest had a very thick, waterproof jacket, which resulted in my clothes not being fully dried.

The following are the real pictures and videos I took when I stayed at the hotel in Bokhara, Nepal. Hotel location: Bokhara is not convenient for transportation, but it is within walking distance. Hotel facilities: Look at the pictures for yourself, it was taken on the same day. The bedding and linen look at the picture, the bed is quite comfortable. No disposable slippers are provided (generally not provided abroad). Hotel decoration: look at the picture for yourself. Toilet: Not dry and wet separation. Breakfast: catch the bus to Kathmandu at 7 o'clock, did not eat breakfast. Hotel service staff: I personally feel very service-conscious, very willing during my stay.

Conveniently located near the lake, the environment is quiet and comfortable, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Overall, it offers great value for money and is suitable for a relaxing vacation. The owner provides free transportation to the bus stop.

Loved the design and the view. Every room has a balcony. Overall it’s a nice hotel but we came during the low season so probably hence the lack of amenities. The wifi didn’t work even though the owner tried hard to solve it, for the breakfast I got a small cup of instant coffee watered down beyond belief, the pillows if you take of the pillowcase are so dirty that I was about to throw up. And it’s not that we usually stay at fancy hotels but we weren’t lucky with this one.

I took the cable car to Sarankot, it was a great experience. I had the carriage all to myself. I must say the staff were wonderful.. From the driver who picked me up at my hotel to the ticket staff, the boarding staff and exit staff I would recommend this to everyone going to Sarankot. I stayed at The high Ground Hotel, it was basic, cheap (£12.00 per night) which included breakfast My room was excellent and I had a nice view of lakeside from my small balcony The room and private bathroom was was spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and very attentive. Dinner was great, I tried sadako for the first time, I really enjoyed it after the initial shock of how spicy it was. The only downside was the weather. It was very misty, so I didn't see the Annapurna Mountains at sunset. The morning was also misty however I did see the mountain a, even if it wasn't clear.

An excellently located guest house. Just off the main road in central Lakeside yet so calm and peaceful. Quite unbelievable really. Beautiful gardens, spacious rooms and 2 min walk to the best section of the lake in this area. Pratigya, one of the owners, helped me decide what trekking route to take and recommended some cool extra sections that turned out to be big highlights for me. She helped, advised and booked everything from buses, permits, taxis and masseuses and made sure I had her number for in case I ran into problems on my trek. As a solo female traveler this was extremely comforting. When I come back to do one of the treks that can only be done with a guide I will be contacting her and her husband. I highly recommend Yeti guest house and especially the owners / hosts.

This family run hotel was a great find for relaxing a few days after our trek. It is easy walking distance to the lakeside but far enough away that you don't hear the nightclubs when you want to sleep at night. The beds are comfortable and the room is well designed. There are many thoughtful touches: the table attached to the wall by the door let's you have luggage underneath, the fridge is for you to use and not crammed full of mini bar stuff, there is even a beer mug provided. The full hot breakfast has eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes, toast, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee, we were plenty well fed. You can choose to sit out in the garden area for breakfast if you like. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful with the owner speaking really good English.

I think the staff are generally all kind. The hotel is located just down a small street, so it was quiet at night. You could see the beautiful Machapuchare from the rooftop! The only thing that was disappointing was that check-out time was said to be 12pm, even though trip.com said it was 1pm. Please update the posted times. As someone who works according to Japanese time, check-in and check-out times are very important to me.

A taxi from Pokhara Airport costs 800 rupees (price in May '26). The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the lake, surrounded by many other hotels with dining options. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful with finding porters or guides. On clear days, you can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains from the balcony.

The hotel is in a good location. From the balcony, you can see the snow-capped mountains, Fishtail Peak and Anna Peak in the distance. Compared with the overall environment of the hotel, the price is good value for money in Pokhara. The biggest problem is the hot water in the room. The hot water is not hot. I didn't take a shower during the two nights I stayed. I communicated with the waiter many times. The waiter's attitude was very patient and kind, but it didn't solve the problem. In their concept, this kind of lukewarm water is hot water.
