Wonderful one evening stay in the holiday inn Stoke. Greeted beautifully by Laura on reception, always smiling and helpful. Cannot praise the team enough each and everytime we stay! Room is excellent and heater provided within minutes upon request. Thanks again all, we will see you very soon ☺️
Take time out with Premier Inn Hotel Stafford North (Spitfire), just minutes from the centre of the historic market town of Stafford. And, with such great transport links nearby, you'll be well placed to get out and explore business and leisure attractions around Staffordshire. Catch the main event at Staffordshire County Show Ground. Seek out thrills and spills at Alton Towers. Or stroll through the gardens at Trentham Estate. After a busy day, head back for a tasty meal in our restaurant and unwind in your new, modern rooms and extra-comfy kingsize Hypnos bed.
Great place to stay when visiting the area. Great breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. There is a limited dinner menu consIsting oh pizza, pasta, salads and burgers. Rooms are also very clean with large comfortable beds and all newly refurbished in 2019. Parking is available on-site. There is a code to get out, which is given to guests and available from reception.
This price is absolutely great value for money
The hotel is a bit old, the sound insulation effect is average, the wooden structure, a little movement is creaking
Hotel restaurant must be highly recommended
The staff were really helpful and allowed me to check in earlier as I was away in the day during regular check in hours. The room was nice with a good, hot shower but there was some mound in the shower. Nothing too bad, could be removed with a hard scrub.
Room is basic but that's all that was needed for 1 night. Some mould on blind but for the price I can overlook little things like that. Staff in bar very friendly and accomidating. Loud music can be heard from pub until late but my 6yr old still managed to sleep through it so didnt cause any issues. I would recommend for a cheaper stay over for Drayton Manor as its so close to the park.
This was literally a stop over during Covid an essential trip. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room upon arrival looked clean and we literally just crashed. However, inthe morning we discovered a pair of dirty socks from previous occupants left on the side
cupboard and sachets of sweetener between the sheets and the mattress! Unacceptable at the best of times nevermind during a worldwide pandemic. Reported to staff who apologised and are handling complaint. Staff very apologetic but simply unacceptable.
I arrived late, around midnight, night staff could have been more welcoming, however, the room was clean, with an opening window. Tea coffee tray was standard. Nice lighting in the bedroom, toiletries in the bathroom and super hot powerful shower! There was an iron, and hairdryer, always useful when you have work the next day! Free breakfast, croissants weren’t very fresh or tasty but the yogurt was nice with fruit and honey available.
Hotel was perfect for us only 30 mins from Alton towers with many pubs and restaurants just a short drive away the hotel manager was amazing with my son after an accident he had will definitely be staying again

GGuest UserGreat receptionist who was very welcoming and friendly. Good location for access to the A500 and A34 roads as well as a bus stop only a 5 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very dated and lack on soundproofing between the rooms is a major issue. I could hear the guy in the room below talking and could also hear the room next door opening and closing their toilet seat! I was awoken at 1am with an inconsiderate neighbour with their tv on very loud and coughing loudly. There is a main wing and smaller wing to the side. I stayed on the 1st floor in the main wing but I would recommend you ask for the 1st floor in the small wing to minimise the number of people around you and source of external noise.
View from the room was nice however.
JJGood location for Alton Towers, but not much nearby.
Service was mixed - duty managers were good and very helpful. Bar staff were average, breakfast staff were below average. They only have one member of staff for breakfast, which is not great if there are more than a few guests. They also charge extra for hash browns in the full English breakfast. The hotel room and restaurant were clean and tidy. Rooms do not have air con and the heating was on high, no way to turn down the radiators without assistance, but unfortunately the reception closes at around 10pm. Overall our stay was adequate but we probably won't be returning.

MMarcus SlaterAt check-in the reception staff member was more interested in watching football and I was told to wait they watched football!!!!
I did not sleep well as the hotel has a loose rope on the flag pole, told in morning that being loose since lockdown. All night a loud metal tinging sound.
The hotel has an amazing heritage and the room shares this heritage, I wish just the staff would book time off for football and did regular site checks every day. Lastly the reception is not 24/7.

GGuest UserWent there for 3 nights.. everything was ok except there was police knocked up at 5 o'clock in the morning and they opened my door and came in without my permission..I was in deep sleep..at the end they said it was their mistake.. horrible experience..how come they gave the key to my room from reception..next morning I informed reception .. there was other receptionist who tried to give explanation and gave me£10 voucher..but very terrible experience.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Colliers Premier Inn was everything I needed. It was clean, warm, comfortable and I could relax before I enjoyed a meal next door in the evening and a good breakfast the following morning. Everything was fine thank you and I would be happy to stay there again. I have, in fact, stayed there before when I stayed for a week with my disabled husband using a room for disabled clients. It was very good then as well.
