Newly renovated two-story house, spacious and bright rooms, parking available. Although the bathroom is shared, it's very clean. Excellent transportation; only a 4-minute walk to Burwood Chinatown. The downstairs kitchen is also convenient. The landlord is very kind; even though check-out time had long passed, they still allowed me to park my car in the yard and relax in the living room (^.^) š

My wife and I agreed this was probably our favorite hostel in all of Oz (Outback and East Coast). Its a bit expensive but worth it. Itās not in the heart of town, but we preferred the location which has a nice cafe/restaurant directly next door and beach is literally across the street. Could see the water from our private room above reception. Staff could not be friendlier and more helpful, shout out to Argentina, happy for their futbol win! Thereās a shuttle that takes you to town every hour, but after a few margaritas itās a pleasant 20 min walk back even at night. Bathroom and shower was nice, kitchen nice, and wifi was strong. Our only mistake was only staying one night during our east coast tour. Byron is worth as many nights as you can afford.
The room was quite small. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers are not provided, so you'll definitely need to bring your own. Despite being a shared facility, the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The location is also very convenient, with a Coles supermarket and a pharmacy nearby.
Apartment was spacious, clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Nice views. Easy access for parking. Was very windy and wind noise was sleep disturbing with whistling under the front door. Also, could not complete the pre-registration process on my mobile despite multiple attempts but was looked after very well over the phone

We a family of 3 stayed here for 4nights in an en-suite family room (queen+single+single). The room is spacious as per photo. The toilet is clean with good water pressure (only took time 5-10min for hot water to arrive with the running taps). Sheets were clean and they even supplied fresh towels on day 3. The only minor setback was the carpeted floor seems worn, fortunately we brought our own sandals which made our own expensive more comfortable. Check-in was through the bar tender on duty while check-out was just a breeze (just key drop). Location wise itās perfect within walking distance to Darling Harbour, Opera House, etc. Tram and trains (Wynyard Stn) readily available within less than a 5min walk making it super convenient. Since itās in CBD, do expect some noise for the street below but it was fine with us. Will definitely stay again if visiting Sydney. As a host myself, I can confirm itās a gem. You can find a better place to stay at the rates they are offering..
GGuest UserLocated right at main road at Kingsgrove Station, only 14' from Sydney International Airport. Rooms have recently been upgraded, basic amenities but very modern rooms. 2 sets of steps to climb to 1st floor rooms, could do with an escalator. Bathroom could do with exhaust fans, facilities were clean and modern, plenty of hot water! You have to check in at the bar, which some people might find uncomfortable. Kingsgrove RSL is only a short walk away, through well lit arcade. Value for money will stay there again. Car Park for hotel is a bit limited!
TTraveler ā¦Looking for an unforgettable stay in Sydney? Look no further! I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic hostel that offers the perfect combination of convenience and comfort, right near Sydney's top attractions.
This hostel boasts an unbeatable location, placing you within walking distance of iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Exploring these renowned sites and immersing yourself in the city's vibrant atmosphere has never been easier.
GGuest UserThis is a motel hotel. It is clean and has a double bed. However, the freezer door in the refrigerator is broken. It is not cleaned every day. The service attitude is good. There was a short circuit when cooking in the room. The management staff solved it immediately without criticism. The biggest advantage is that it is cheap and close to the town train station, but it is more than 90 kilometers away from Canberra, so travel efficiency is not high. Generally tourists to Canberra should rarely stay at this hotel. The reason why I stayed here was because I couldn't find a hotel with a suitable price in Canberra.
GGuest UserGreat place to stay if you're able-bodied and only need to access the Sydney CBD. Though you really have to enjoy walking and not be in a rush, enjoy a stroll through the botanical gardens and past the Opera House on the way. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes within a few streets too.
The room is plenty large for two people and the shared bathrooms are always kept very clean.
Not sure what to do with the floor towels after using, they usually end up in a pile in the corner of the room.
No way to leave the room unlocked while ducking out for a midnight wee, which can be a bit of an anxiety point, just have a room card with you at all times.
One socket of the double GPO next to bed was not working, but had other outlets in the room to plug charger into.
EEelspowerAverage overall stay with basic service in a handy location. Cheap price for a cheap location. Recommended for solo backpackers for an affordable stay.
GGuest UserCleanliness is very important to all the hotels and accommodation. because it can cause diseases. Dust comming from the fan and air-conditioning when it's running. I show cockroaches coming through the gaps on the walls. Specially the noise from the doors and air-conditioning need to be replaced. But although I realised this is how we all end it up if we after economy room. Management is very friendly but need more attention of cleanliness and maybe it's time to do renovations.
Thanks
GGuest UserI was lucky enough to have my room ready in advance, before 2PM and since my flight arrived early in the morning, that was really nice !
Cathy was also a wonderful person in general, throughout my stay.
The room is pretty big, with a sink and a fridge. šš»
The room I had is next to the common area however people weren't too loud, especially in the evening despite it roughly being the dinner time so that was nice.
The area is very chill, a few schools and houses around so not loud at night. It is, however, situated on the planes' route and they are pretty low in the sky since it gets close to the airport. But there aren't any at night (around midnight until 6AM I would say) and it's not every 5 minutes either.
The sun set pretty early at that time of the year and to me, I felt like the neighborhood lacked lights for people to walk around but it wasn't much of a bother and not something the lodge can change, so just a heads-up to have a small light/enough battery on the phone to use when coming back from your day trip activities.
RReece96Nice spot, walkable to everything and in a good busy area. Staff are friendly and facilities were great and very clean. Enjoyed my stay. Not the most sociable though, I would stay again but donāt expect to really meet people here. More for somewhere nice to sleep.
GGuest UserHi
I have to say this is the 2nd time we have stayed at the park, and we were very happy with the 1st time. 1st time we stayed in a cabin for 6 nights and then our caravan when the work was completed for a week.
The staff were fantastic.
This time we were very disappointed š.
The bed was very uncomfortable. Needs a topper to soften the caravan mattress and low height pillows which didn't help. The TV was not scanning to channels and had rabbit ears as the antenna clipped to the fire exhibitor.
As for staff we only had contact on arrival for the key, we left at 7 am, hence dropped the key in the box. The office lady was quite pleasant on arrival š.
I don't think we will stay there again, which is ashame as our 1st time was good. I feel for $607 for 3 night stay the standard of the cabin was very disappointing š.
