The location is super convenient and accessible. Checkin and checkout were super easy and the room was cheap for a private room - it's considerably larger than it looks on the pictures! It's clean but not pristine and the mattress is comfty. I would have appreciated a bedframe but for that price and for two nights it was enough. Can definitely recommend.

This hotel is just a short walk straight from Hualien Station. While it's a bit far from the city's main attractions and the night market, they offer free bike rentals, which was very convenient. The facilities show their age a bit, but considering the price and service, I was very satisfied with my stay.

The accommodation is about 15 minutes from Hualien Railway Station. There are many convenience stores and supermarkets along the way, and many souvenir shops in front of the station. It is a great place to stay with a variety of room types. Everyone is welcome to come and experience the accommodation.

Convenient location, in front Exit 1. I was reached at night, the signboard has no light and name is not noticeable. Clean and staff is friendly. Liuhe night market is just 3mins walking distance via through a short cut in a carpark . In fact, Liuhe night market actually nothing much. There are few stalls selling seafood porridge, dint have the chance to try. At the end of the market, the 肉×饭 is nice, nt too sweet or salty and the soup is clear and with taste of bitterguard. Nice!

Brilliant hotel situated 3 minutes from the beach and at the bottom of the main street night market. Bus stop within a few minutes walk. Great discount price for scooter rentals. We were upgraded to balcony room without request. We had daily fresh towels and water and bins changed. No recycling options, all waste in one general bin which I didn't like. Water fountain on first floor. Would highly recommend staying here.

I stayed at 85 Cape Inn in Kaohsiung for two nights and had an amazing experience. The staff offered warm and friendly service, and I was pleasantly upgraded upon arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. Its location is excellent, close to major attractions ( Dream mall, Night Market, Dome, Cijin Island,Dragon Tiger Temple)and convenient transport options (Green or Red MRT, Ferry Terminal).

The check in was unnecessary complicated, accompanied by lenghty emails. There seem to be too many rules. It was almost impossible to use the expresso maker at the reception, as there were no cups provided, with the instructions that the hotel tries to be eco friendly and we should use the cups in our room. I was on the top floor so going up to get a cup and then having to return it was just impractical. The room was quite noisy, as it is next to the main Boulevard and even facing towards the side street.

We stayed in a double room on the second floor. It was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed. The windows let in plenty of light, and there was a dressing table for putting on makeup. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious. Check-in was self-service, and we provided our own towels, toothbrushes, and tissues. The location was excellent, just a 10-minute walk from Hualien Train Station. Across the street from the hotel were PX Express, breakfast shops, and restaurants, making it very convenient.

First time trying self check-in, a bit confusing because the first floor is a salon. You never thought that is it the right place. The name of the Inn was covered with tarpaulin. Anyway, we had a great stay. I slept good. Clean and no unwanted odor. Everything is great. Except the shower is broken, too old the hose had a leak. The toilet bowl is clogged. Definitely, i love to stay there again.

This place doesn't have a wet/dry separation, meaning the toilet and shower are in the same area. Also, when you want to shower, make sure to check if there's hot water before taking off your clothes. I experienced having no hot water at first, but then inexplicably it came back halfway through my shower. So that's really the main thing to watch out for. Another thing is that you need to bring your own toothbrush; there are no footlights, small accent lights, etc.

GGuest UserThis is a really cosy place. I really love my room. Clean and modern interior. The only downside might be the location. It's close to the train station. But there isn't much nearby for food. Probably best to rent a scooter to explore Taitung anyway to make your stay more convenient. They are plenty of scooter shops near the train station too.

CClymene LimThoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

AAnonymous UserLocation wise good, super close to Ximen EXIT 1 and 6. The walls are just too thin and I can hear the next room door sneezing or snoring. Bathroom is clean, just felt like every else is flat. Room is quite tight. If you're not okay with smaller room, maybe it is not for you. But for a quick few days in taipei it is a good hostel.

GGuest UserThe place was alright but I think for the price, there are better options out there. Unfortunately, my room is the first one on the left from the lobby. With the poor sound insulation, it was absolutely necessary to have earplugs to block out the noises coming from the corridor. The room is generally alright and quite spacious, but the decor is quite old, and it might feel a bit dark and dirty. There are windows but they looked to be sealed so everything feels enclosed too. The toilet is also poorly designed with water going everywhere during shower. The common area is big with everything you expect from a hostel. Nice space to have chats with people or just take a rest. But again I feel that because of the decor, it might seem a bit old and dirty. The location is relatively convenient, you have to walk a little to the stations.

MMarie Beth LanaWe stayed at O Fun Hotel for 5 nights and overall had a good experience. The staff were kind and helpful. They allowed us to check in early at 12:30 PM, which we really appreciated. The room was cleaned every day, and they have water refiling station near reception. However, they didn’t change the towels or bed sheets during our stay. The bed was big and comfortable, and the TV was large too. There’s also a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer, which was very useful for us. There's water refill station in the hotel, so we didn’t need to buy bottled water. One downside was the pillows, they smelled like they weren’t dried under the sun properly. (My mom just used her clothes to cover the pillows. Overall, it's a nice place with helpful staff and good amenities, but there’s a bit of room for improvement in cleanliness. Xiexie 🙂

晶晶晶Less than a two-minute walk from Shilin MRT, but there's no elevator, so you have to climb three flights of stairs. Not very friendly if you have luggage. I had two single beds, which were just okay. I stayed for seven days, and no one cleaned the room. They charge extra for cleaning service. It's self check-in with a keyless entry system. You need to contact them via LINE for inquiries, and if you don't have it, you have to use email, which is a bit inconvenient, especially for older people. Overall, the price is cheap, so it's acceptable.
