The hotel is literally beside a train station which is really convenient to go to airport. And there’s a family mart just 2 mins away as well. But the thing is the room really small and very small walkway for you to walk. And the sound proofing is so weak that you’ll able to hear the loud snoring from the room next to you if so happened there’s one. And I would really not recommend to those who not used to shared bathroom as it’s quite inconvenient and for female bathroom is at ground floor and need to pass by the hotel entrance and public area which is dining area that there’s bunch of people being there for using laptop and eating almost the whole day.
First time trying this kind of hotel and guess it’s not my type but it’s good for experience.

This hotel is perfect for solo travelers visiting Osaka for a shopping spree. The rooms are simple, just right for catching some sleep, but don't expect many amenities – you'll need to bring your own. The lounge area on the first floor is quite spacious, offering a small kitchen, vending machines, washing machines, and free luggage lockers. In Osaka, where hotel prices are skyrocketing, especially with Tennoji right next door making transportation convenient, this place is an absolute steal for the price. Excellent value for money!

This hotel is in a great location, very close to Shin-Imamiya Station, which makes getting around super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and it even had air conditioning and a fridge, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice and patiently explained everything I needed to know.

Facilities: Great.
Cleanliness: Very good, spotless.
Ambiance: Nice, very good.
Service: Good. Every time I come to Japan, when I'm traveling solo, I choose this place. The private small rooms are clean, hygienic, and excellent, with no strange odors. I genuinely recommend it. The subway station is right next door.

This was my first time staying at the Osaka Rocks Hotel, and I spent two nights in a female dorm room on the 4th floor. There are 20 beds on this floor, and the room rate included a complimentary breakfast each day (two slices of bread and coffee/tea). The hotel is conveniently located near Exit 23 of Honmachi Subway Station, about a 300-meter walk. There are three supermarkets nearby, numerous convenience stores, and various chain fast-food restaurants like McDonald's, Matsuya, Sukiya, Yayoi-ken, and CoCo Ichibanya Curry, making both transportation and daily life very convenient.
The front desk staff were patient, friendly, and provided excellent service. They even offered a Chinese check-in guide, which was incredibly helpful for someone like me who doesn't speak English or Japanese. Luggage storage is free on both check-in and check-out days. The 2nd and 4th floors are female-only, and you need your room card to access the elevator, ensuring privacy and safety.
The bunk beds are spacious, equipped with a bedside lamp and a ventilation fan, and there are power outlets at both the head and foot of the bed. The bedding is soft and comfortable. Each floor has two shower rooms, two toilets, and three washbasins. The water pressure in the showers is strong, and the environment is clean and tidy. The hotel provides free slippers, towels, bath towels, bath mats, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, cotton swabs, body lotion, and hair dryers. In the lobby on the first floor, there's complimentary coffee and tea available from 3 PM to 10 PM. Personal items like toothbrushes and combs can be purchased at the front desk. What I particularly liked was the storage area directly opposite each bed, which includes two hangers and a small safe, making it very convenient to access items and pack luggage.
This is a hostel with excellent value for money. After checking out today, I'm heading to Kyoto by the Sea, Amanohashidate, and Ine Funaya. I'll be returning to stay here again in a few days to officially kick off my cherry blossom tour in the Kansai region.

Imano Osaka Shinsaibashi Hostel is a gem for solo travelers. The room was clean and comfortable, just what you need after a full day exploring. Breakfast was a nice surprise—healthy plus unlimited drinks, which is always a win. Location is super convenient, just a short walk to the train station and surrounded by konbinis for quick bites anytime. Everything felt easy and hassle-free here. If you’re traveling alone and want something practical, cozy, and well-located, this place hits the mark.

✨ Acro Capsule Hotel (Japan) 🇯🇵
My first time staying in a capsule hotel, and honestly, I was more impressed than I expected!
📍 Location: Amazing! It’s very close to Dotonbori—just a few minutes’ walk to food, shopping, and nightlife. Also near train stations, so getting around is super convenient.
🛏 Capsule Room: I thought it would be very small, but it’s actually more spacious than expected. I could stretch out comfortably. There’s decent privacy with a curtain, plus a power outlet and personal light.
🧼 Cleanliness: Highly rated! The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Amenities are provided, including towels and a hair dryer.
👩💼 Staff: Friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English, which makes everything much easier.
👍 Pros:
- Great value for money, perfect for budget travelers
- Excellent central location
- Secure system with lockers for your belongings
⚠️ Cons:
- If you get an upper capsule, climbing up and down can be a bit inconvenient (though it’s slightly cheaper than the lower one)
- Some noise is unavoidable since it’s a shared space
- It can feel a bit warm or stuffy at times
💬 Overall: Perfect for solo travelers or anyone who wants to try the capsule hotel experience in Japan. If you don’t mind limited personal space, it’s definitely worth it!

The locationn is very close to shopping areas such as Namba, Shinsaibashi, and Kuromon Market. There's also a large, inexpensive supermarket nearby, located behind the building. The accommodation is clean, towels, liquid soap, and shampoo are provided. The bed is a good size, not too narrow. My room was on the second floor and had limited space for luggage. There's a corner outside the room with tea and coffee service and a refrigerator, but it's quite cramped. You can buy food and heat it up there. Because the accommodation doesn't have much common space, you need to be mindful of noise levels.

I stayed at the female dormitory for a week. The bed, showers and bathrooms were clean. Towels, washing machine and dryer are not free. They do provide shampoo and body wash in the showers. Only inconvenience was snoring roommate, but that’s basically your luck. Overall, it was very good and close to Dotombori and metro stations.

AAmeliaKuruKaraPros:
1. Room and toilet is clean and amenities are provided. Will not provide picture of the rooms as is exactly like in the picture.
2. Soundproof was actually good as there is a small balcony overseeing train station and I like the view of it.
3. Walking distance, approx 10 mins or more depending on your walking speed to Tsutentaku, Shinsekai or Donki.
4. I highly would like to say “Arigato” and praise the host for responding to all my questions before checking in and during my check-in progress (when I encounter issue). They respond to all my queries on time.
5. The train station located nearby has JR, Metro or Nankai lines, which can bring you directly to Minoh-Kayano Station, Tennoji, Namba, Umeda, Osaka or Kansai Airport. A proper planning is require to take your require train.
Cons:
1. We have 2 medium and 1 small luggages and barely can open full 2 medium luggage despite having a closet. 1 small luggage can be open fully in the middle between the 2 beds but it will block the walking to the balcony (if require to go there).
2. The kitchen and toilet area, gets quite cold during the night and the heater cannot reach that area. Not sure if the floor has a warmer.
3. Despite there is a train station nearby, still require to walk approx. 8 mins above depending on your walking speed. If you are coming with JR train, there were no lift or escalator at the nearby exit to the stay. We had to carry all the luggages down till the exit. However, if you are taking Nankai lines to the airport, then no issue with the luggage as there are 1 lift operating at the nearby entrance.
4. The road at night gets quite lonely and scary if you are walking alone but I believe is alright in Japan.
5. No eateries/restaurants and convenience mart within the 5 mins walk.
Overall, I enjoy my stay here and I always stay at this area during my travel to Osaka due to lesser crowd and convenience to reach airport. One thing to note, do complete all the pre-registration that the host has email you in order for a smooth check-in. Again, I would like to thank the host for the great hospitality and responding to my queries.

DDarinDarwishThis was not my first hostel experience, and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed.
Let’s start with the positive aspects first:
The location was absolutely perfect — I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in Namba. Everything was close by, and getting around was very easy.
Also, the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, and we received fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated.
Now, onto the things that bothered me:
First, the cleanliness: It wasn’t really clean. In the showers, there was always a lot of hair and dirt in the gaps where you enter and exit, which was quite unpleasant.
During my stay, someone vomited in the public sink area, and it was not cleaned up overnight — it was still there even at 10 a.m. the next morning. Because of that, the house smelled strongly of vomit for a while.
That night, and in general, there was often an unpleasant smell in the kitchen area as well.
Without wanting to discriminate, I noticed that many older people were staying at the hostel (since apparently there was no age restriction). Some of them would loudly clear their throats and spit phlegm into the sinks, even early in the morning, which was quite disturbing and unhygienic.
Another issue was the temperature: The room was extremely hot at night, and since so many people were sleeping in one room, the air became very stuffy. Even inside your capsule, it was uncomfortably warm.
One last point: On the day of arrival, the address on Trip.com was wrong, which made it very hard to find the hostel. It took me almost an hour and a half to find it, especially because it was very hidden with no clear signage outside.
I really hope that in the future, there will also be an age limit for guests.
