It's quite clean, with automatic check-in and check-out. There are also three types of restrooms, so there are plenty available. The common area has a full set of utensils. A Kiwi supermarket is right next door, where I bought a lot of delicious food. The curtains on the bed can be fully drawn for good privacy, and there's storage right next to the bed. Everything is accessed with your own card, so it feels quite secure. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs because this room can get super noisy if there are a lot of people. However, during my stay, everyone was consciously keeping quiet, which was great. It's about a 20-minute bus ride on line 30 to the city center and 50 minutes to the airport. So, I think for this price, the location is excellent!
Hotel location is very good, very close to the palace, 2 minutes walk. Our family of four is a family room, a door to enter, two separate rooms, each with two single beds. One of the rooms is equipped with a small kitchen. The small supermarket Rema 1000 is downstairs, very convenient.
Free coffee, hot water, chocolate, microwave in the public area of the hotel, which is great. There are kitchenware plates at the front desk that can be used when cooking.
The only bad thing is that the bath water is unstable, hot and cold, and the bath space is small.
It was an interesting stay. Reasonably good location.
Entry and exit from the building was done through a Bluetooth app on the phone.
There was zero interaction with the owners, so it felt a little weird.
But I think every stay should have minimal facilities like a fridge and a kettle.
You cannot call anything a homestay without access to the main parts of a home, like basic kitchenette or living room.

The view is great since it is located on the hill, and the room and the bathroom are way cleaner than expected. However, they don’t provide soap or shampoo. Also, we need to make the bed ourselves.
