This hotel is located in Midtown on 8th Avenue, not far from Penn Station, making it very convenient for transportation. It's an old building with no elevator. The hotel is on the top floor, so you'll need to climb 59 steps to reach the front desk. The staff are helpful and will even assist you with carrying luggage upstairs. The rooms are small, partitioned off from a larger open-plan space, about three square meters each. Your suitcase can only fit under the bed. The top of the room is open for ventilation, which means there's almost no soundproofing. It's a bit like Hong Kong's 'cage homes' – if one person talks, almost everyone in the other rooms can hear it. Because of this, the hotel repeatedly emphasizes maintaining quiet. They provide free drinking water, and there's a microwave and refrigerator available for use. Breakfast includes milk, bread, butter, coffee, juice, cake, cereal, fruit, and soy milk. The hotel's background seems to be Nepalese Hinduism, as they emphasize vegetarianism. No meat products are allowed into the hotel, not even eggs.

The Americana Inn is a decent choice if you just need a budget-friendly place to crash in the middle of the city. While the bathrooms are shared, the staff is diligent about keeping them clean, though housekeeping for the actual rooms can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on the day. The location is excellent for being central, but it comes with a lot of noise; expect typical New York sounds like sirens and constant honking until about midnight. It usually quiets down enough to get some solid sleep between midnight and 6:00 AM. A nice modern touch is the Smart TV in the room, which lets you log into your own Netflix or YouTube accounts.

Shabby and rundown hotel, simple breakfast with muffin as the main course. Additionally, the sound proofing in the rooms we're extremely poor as we could hear the sounds of our neighbours resulting in bad sleep. On the other hand rhe location was great as it was next to the highway and the enormous mall with attractions rhat will keep you entertained for days.

Check-in was simple with friendly front desk workers who offered us bottled water from a refrigerator in the lobby. The room was very clean and well-equipped with tea, coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. I especially liked the fact that the floor was not carpeted but wood laminate, which is much easier to clean. The pool looked brand new and was open late. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk and protein bars with bags to pack for takeaway or to eat there. The location was perfect to visit The Corning Museum of Glass, which was under 10 minutes away.

When you exit Buffalo Airport, there's a bus stop on the left. I think it's bus number 72, which takes you downtown for two dollars. Then, at the main bus station, you can transfer to a bus to Niagara Falls, which seems to be only two dollars per person, but the journey is quite long, about two hours. A ride-hailing service costs about $60-70, while a taxi costs around $100 and takes a little over half an hour. When the bus arrives, you'll see the hotel. It's nice, with spacious rooms, but the breakfast is average, with almost nothing to eat.

Excellent location, spacious room with two large beds and a sink. Although it's an old hotel, it maintains its character. Everything is very clean. Highly recommended

After getting off the plane at JFK, I drove for 6 hours to spend the night here. The next morning, I went to the Maple Leaf Country Thousand Island Lake Scenic Area. This Q has a microwave and refrigerator. The double bed is a good size. There are many sockets in the room. The air conditioner is relatively quiet. Breakfast is the usual. McDonald's is next door and you can walk there. Walmart is a 2-3 minute drive away.

Service: Very good, the front desk is very nice! Facilities: Breakfast is OK, convenient for travel! Hygiene: Very clean, one of the few American hotels that provides unlimited toothbrushes, toothpaste and combs
