We had a great stay at Sangzor Hotel. The room was spacious, and the bed, linens, and pillows were very comfortable. They also allowed early check-in.
Breakfast was amazing—especially the fresh fruits. The hotel offers luggage storage as well.
The location is perfect: just a 2-minute walk to Registan Square, Bibi-Khanym, and Siyob Bazaar, with plenty of nearby stores.
The road in front of the hotel isn’t passable by car, but you can easily walk through a small alley at the back—only about a minute.
Great location. The city's main attractions are within walking distance: Bibi-Khanum, Siyob Bazaar, Registan, Afrosiab, Shah-i-Khinda. Near the hotel there is a pizzeria, a restaurant serving Uzbek cuisine, and a pilaf place called Kohinoor, where you can enjoy pilaf not only during 11.30-13.00 as is customary in Samarkand, but also in the evening. There are also several minimarkets nearby, one of which, if you exit the hotel to the right, has a fairly large selection of beer, which is even more rare in Samarkand than evening pilaf. The hotel's owner was very attentive and helpful. Thank you, Mr.Kakhramon!
We had a pleasant stay at this guesthouse. Its location was excellent, with many tourist attractions within walking distance, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The owner were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist whenever needed. The hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
An excellent hotel where everything is done with love. A very convenient location. I wanted to stay in an authentic hotel, as if we were visiting friends. And that's exactly what happened. The hosts were very welcoming. The room was clean. We checked in early in the morning without any problems. We are very happy we chose this hotel. Thanks to the hosts.
A really good hotel with a great location. It’s very walkable, about 2 km walk to Registan Square, and surrounded by plenty of markets and local restaurants. Everything we needed was right in the area, which made our stay very convenient and enjoyable.
The bed was super comfy and the room felt very cozy, perfect for resting after a long day out. Overall, we loved our stay here and would happily choose this place again. A solid choice for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a nice local vibe.
You can't take a taxi to the front of the hotel, but there is no inconvenience as you can get it close by. Registan Square is about a 5-minute walk away. It is a very convenient hotel for sightseeing.
The breakfast buffet was large in number, and there were dishes using vegetables such as eggplant and cauliflower that I had never eaten anywhere else. All were delicious.
The place is amazing! It's located in the center, but a little hidden, so it's always quiet there. It is very comfortable and the atmosphere there is nice. It’s like being in a village with your grandparents. If I come to Samarkand again, I will definitely stay at this place.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserFacilities: A bit old.
Location: Tucked away in an alley.
Cleanliness: Decent.
Service: Good. The little white note indicates they can open (the room/door) proactively. They allowed an early check-in, and adding just 5,000 won for breakfast was a great deal! I recommend taking a taxi here; otherwise, you'll never find the place.

NNorehanThe hotel is in a very strategic location, close to Registan Square, historical sites, and Siyob Bazaar, all within walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights. The first night, we had a spacious room with good amenities, but the air conditioner was old and hot. We requested to move to a room downstairs; the room was smaller and lacked amenities like a kettle, and drinking water was not provided, but the air conditioner worked well. Breakfast had limited options and was minimal. The staff, made up of family members, were very helpful. This hotel can be considered as one of the options. It is recommended that the management upgrade the breakfast and provide some essential facilities for tourists.

HHami NguyenThis guest house is a wonderful budget-friendly option in Samarkand. It’s conveniently located near the city center, only about 2 km from Registan Square and other major attractions, making it very easy to get around. The room rates are affordable, with options for 2 or 4 guests, which is perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The host is incredibly kind, gentle, and always willing to help with anything you need. One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast prepared by the family — generous, delicious, and offering a wide variety of dishes each morning.
For easier navigation or when booking a taxi, it’s best to search for “Bilol Hotel” on Google Maps.
Wishing this lovely guest house continued success and many more happy guests in the future!
11350282****Advantages: 1. Excellent location. Approximately a 15-minute walk from Registan Square. 2. The front desk staff were very helpful, assisting with luggage up and down stairs even without an elevator. 3. There's a viewing platform on the third floor with sofas and tables, suitable for leisure travelers. Disadvantages: 1. Room types are not standard; the size of the double rooms varies. When no rooms were available, I was given a triple room with a bed that appeared to be only 0.8 meters wide. 2. There's no POS machine at the front desk, and the prepaid deposit cannot be deducted from the room rate; only cash payment is accepted.

GGuest UserI had an early train, and this was the perfect hotel for a good night's sleep before it. For one night in Samarkand, you couldn't ask for better – they even let me check in before 2 PM. Upon arrival, it's about a 5-minute walk from the train station, and if you take the right exit over the bridge above the tracks, you'll come straight to the entrance. The breakfast was clean and tasty. The room had a fresh renovation, was spacious, and comfortable. It was super for my needs. There's a grocery market nearby and a tram line, but getting to the center takes a while if there's traffic.
