We were very happy with the service of this hotel. sanjar helped us with taxi bookings. He stayed up late to welcome us and got up early to see us off. The place is charming and interesting with the collections of vintage paraphernalia. Place is east to get to most attractions. Take his advice on restaurants, we had great meals all the time. Try the samsos which are en route to the Registan and enjoy the birds in the courtyard.

I was initially surprised by the mixed-use room, but I quickly adjusted. The neighbors were pleasant and quiet, and no one disturbed anyone else. The hosts were pleasant and helpful when needed. All the sights were within easy reach.

The location is good and you can walk to Registan square. Su の Renda も Kind. The water is now one. After the shower, water stains around the washbasin, so it was necessary to keep it with a towel. There is no dryer. Breakfast was simple but good.

On my last day of independent travel in Samarkand, I had an 8 AM train, so I wouldn't be able to make breakfast. I informed the front desk in advance to prepare the check-in certificate (the small slip of paper) for me in the morning. This is a Uzbekistan regulation; if you've been traveling here for more than three days, border control might randomly check your accommodation certificates from hotels and guesthouses when you exit the country. They also prepared a packed meal for me. The staff member on duty in the morning quickly sorted everything out. Since this hotel is located on a pedestrian street, arriving and departing by ride-sharing service requires going to a spot not far diagonally across from the hotel, then passing through a small gate to a back street to pinpoint the pick-up/drop-off location. For arrivals, contact the hotel beforehand, and they will email you the details. For departures, some ride-sharing drivers might get confused and have trouble finding the spot. It's usually not a big deal, but when we left in the morning, it happened twice, and we almost had to ask the front desk staff to call a car for us.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with great light and ventilation. The owner, a Hubei native, was very hands-on, providing excellent service and easy communication. The prices were affordable, and there's a Hunan restaurant upstairs. The airport is three kilometers away, making it very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. I highly recommend this place for families visiting from China.

The room and bedding are very neat, the bathroom is clean, the front desk staff is hospitable, and coffee and tea are delivered to the room upon check-in. The hotel is close to the train station, and there are bus stops and taxi stations outside, which is very convenient to go to tourist attractions. There are large supermarkets and farmers' markets nearby, and living facilities are complete. It is very quiet at night. If you come to Samarkand for a trip, the Old Station Hotel is the best choice.

The level of service of this hotel is way above the usual, thanks to its people. The personnel is always trying to make your stay as good as possible. I would attribute them more than 5 if I could.

The staff was kind and kind. But when I tried to get hot water, red water smelled of iron came out. I couldn't take a shower because it was obvious that if I took a shower with that hot water, my body would smell more than before I took a shower. Other than that, it is an inn without problems.
