This was the first hotel I stayed at after arriving in Guangzhou, out of seven hotels in the Greater Bay Area. And it was the only one that was 'strict' about not offering free breakfast for children, requiring an extra 100 yuan. When traveling during the New Year, everyone just wants to have a good time. They even told me that once breakfast is purchased, it's non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This whole policy felt really cheap and definitely didn't make for a good experience. The room facilities were decent, but the partition door between the bathroom and the room wasn't very suitable; it wouldn't close properly. Breakfast until 11 AM is quite accommodating, but after 10:30 AM, they practically stopped restocking. Given how busy it was during the New Year, I guess that's somewhat understandable...

The amenities were great – the room was spacious with a mini-fridge, tea set, and snacks. Plus, there's a washing machine and dryer available in the lobby on the first floor, which was really convenient. The hotel is right in the ancient town, very close to Kaiyuan Temple, and it's super easy to get to Guangji Bridge. You can find plenty of places to eat and drink nearby too. The only downside is that you can't order delivery services in the ancient town, as electric scooters aren't allowed in.

Traveling with my elderly parents, I booked a river-view room for them where they could see Guangji Bridge. The room was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. Han Wengong Temple is just a short walk away, but unfortunately, it was closed on Monday. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The hotel staff training is excellent. As soon as you get out of the car, someone will proactively open the door and help with your luggage. The front desk efficiently handles check-in, and luggage is delivered to your room. During summer, a staff member will also call to check on room satisfaction. Overall, I felt very well looked after. Definitely worth a five-star review!

I had a power outage at home, so I booked a last-minute stay at the nearest Sheraton for a night. The staff were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was first-class. The room was quite spacious and featured a balcony overlooking the lake, which made for a very comfortable feeling. Breakfast was decent; my favorite item was the 'zhuchanglu'. There was a good variety of breakfast options, but the coffee was undrinkable, and the hot milk wasn't rich enough. Some minor issues that could be improved were: 1. The room had two bottles of shower gel but no shampoo; I assume there was a mix-up. 2. The in-room tea bags looked quite cheap and didn't feel premium. 3. For the complimentary Southeast Asian set lunch, we sat in the restaurant for 5 minutes without any staff attending to us, and the food itself was just average.

The location is fantastic, just a few dozen meters from Yannan Metro Station, which offers direct access to Futian High-Speed Rail Station. It's only a 10-20 minute taxi ride to Futian High-Speed Rail Station and Shenzhen North Station. From here, you can take a high-speed train directly to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. The hotel is an 8-minute walk from Huaqiangbei Electronics Market and a 10-minute walk from the famous Fanlou for dim sum. Lianhua Mountain is also less than a 10-minute taxi ride away. The hotel breakfast is excellent, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as afternoon tea. Guests staying at the hotel receive a 20 CNY discount on afternoon tea. The hotel facilities are comprehensive. The laundry room is very clean and convenient, and you can even monitor the washing or drying time from your room TV.

Our stay at the InterContinental Zhuhai was absolutely fantastic! A special shout-out to Mila for her incredibly attentive and efficient service. Check-in was smooth and she even upgraded our room for free. There were a couple of minor hiccups, but they were all handled promptly and professionally, which put us at ease. The hotel is just a street away from Gongbei Port, making trips to Macau super convenient. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge – expansive sea views by day and dazzling lights by night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. My only slight regret is that the pool wasn't open yet. Overall, the service was excellent, the views were superb, and the location was very convenient. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and highly recommend it!

🌴 Le Méridien Xiaojing Bay, Huizhou 📍 Location & Ambiance: Situated in Xiaojing Bay, Huizhou, with unbeatable panoramic sea views 🌅 The French-inspired artistic design, exclusive lobby BGM, and latitude/longitude markers make for amazing photo ops 📸 It truly maximizes the vacation vibe. 🛏️ Room Amenities: Super spacious ✨ A round daybed on the balcony, allowing you to watch the sea from your bed 🌊 Separate wet and dry areas, plus a huge bathtub – the kids absolutely loved bath time and playing in the water. 🏊 Pool Experience: The outdoor infinity pool directly faces the ocean 🌊 A stunning seascape pool perfect for snapping incredible photos; the indoor pool has great natural light, so you can still enjoy swimming even on cloudy days. ⚠️ Minor Drawbacks: The interior decor feels a bit dated, and some facilities show signs of wear and tear, appearing slightly old. However, this didn't significantly impact the overall experience. Disappointments: The room was non-refundable, which seems to be common for hotels in Huizhou. I wanted to change my travel plans, and despite calling both the hotel and Ctrip, a refund wasn't possible. Later, the price even dropped. On the 9th day of the ***** new year, it was past 4 PM, and my room still wasn't ready. I suggested they could compensate me hourly for the delay, and I'd check in whenever the room was ready. Only then was I given a room. I was utterly speechless; it just goes to show that guest needs are clearly not a priority for this hotel. ✅ Summary: Ideal for families who love sea views, taking photos, have kids who enjoy baths and playing in the water, and want to catch a beach performance.

The hotel is right on Shuidong Street. During the day, you can enjoy tea in your room with the sunshine. It's quite convenient for getting around, though the showerhead in the room wasn't great. The hotel helped us choose a relatively quiet room, and by the latter half of the night, it was peaceful.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a refreshing and calming ambiance. The lobby features light-colored wood and off-white furnishings, accented with greenery and a subtle, pleasant fragrance. The guest rooms are spacious and bright with excellent natural light, decorated in light colors and wooden furniture that incorporates local design elements, creating a cozy yet open feel. Public areas are elegant with outstanding soundproofing, offering a peaceful retreat despite being conveniently located amidst a bustling area with direct subway access and surrounding shopping districts. Amenities include a zero-pressure memory foam mattress and skin-friendly bedding for a restful night's sleep. Smart room controls and an AI voice assistant offer convenience and ease. Bathrooms feature separate wet and dry areas, smart toilets, and a 100-inch projector, with high-speed WiFi available throughout. Guests can enjoy a 24-hour gym, self-service laundry room (with dryer and iron), complimentary minibar, USB charging ports, a desk, and a night light, among other well-equipped facilities. A fresh air system ensures clean air, and the herbal toiletries are gentle and effective.

MMAOBEA stay to remember: The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

GGuest UserReview for Ibis Hotel: The Ibis Hotel in Dongguan is a hidden gem. This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we will definitely choose it again for our future visits to Dongguan. We opted for the panoramic room, which offers a bit more space. The room is well-equipped with all the essentials. Considering the price you pay, the value is exceptional. The breakfast provided is not only delicious but also offers a wide variety of options at a very reasonable price. The reception staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We adore this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

CCaron-117Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped, with a complete range of amenities including a swimming pool, gym, and restaurant. The lounge (requires separate purchase) also offers decent selections. Environment: Located in the core area of Zhujiang New Town, it offers panoramic views of the entire city center, and the scenery is quite good. Cleanliness: This time, the cleanliness was not up to par. There was a sticky residue in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned. Service: The service was hard to describe. This is my second time at Rosewood. My first impression was that the overall service felt rather arrogant. This time, the service attitude seemed to have improved, but many procedures had issues. I arrived at 4:00 PM and there was no room available. They proactively offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, and I was only informed that the room was ready around 5 or 6 PM. After discovering the cleanliness issue, the handling was relatively prompt. They sent someone to clean, and the duty manager proactively offered a late checkout and complimentary champagne and desserts. The attitude towards resolving the issue was very good, but the fact that so many problems occurred in just one night reflects shortcomings in the overall service system. I hope they can comprehensively improve the quality of service to justify the price. It's worth noting that the Executive Deluxe River View Room no longer includes executive lounge access. The butler informed me that this benefit was removed due to low usage and now requires a separate purchase. However, I saw a video from a butler blogger this year that still showed this benefit being offered. I'm not sure if it was recently canceled, but the room price remains similar to before, so it seems consumers are bearing all the costs.

GGuest UserThe lobby is spacious and bright with a simple yet elegant decor, and the aroma is lovely. The front desk staff were efficient and well-organized. The room amenities are complete, and the overall atmosphere of the room is warm and comfortable. The pillows were great for a good night's sleep, and the bedding was soft and cozy. The buffet restaurant provided a great experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and the seafood and hot dishes at the dinner buffet were fresh and delicious. The room was very clean and tidy, with full facilities including a fridge, hairdryer, and charging outlets – excellent! I'll definitely be back. The Wi-Fi connected easily. The recreational club's swimming pool is quite large, and the environment is very pleasant. The hotel elevators operate smoothly and quickly. The room's balcony was spacious, perfect for drying clothes, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, kept very clean. Room service was quick and the staff had a great attitude. The front desk staff were very professional, answering all questions and making check-in and check-out fast and convenient. The room also had tea and coffee, both delicious, making it incredibly good value for money. I will definitely choose Hengqin Bay Hotel again on my next visit.

The staff proactively contacted us after we'd left and promptly refunded the difference. This demonstrates their integrity and responsibility, making our experience absolutely perfect. EErenxiangaozhuangStepping into the hotel, I was immediately struck by the uniquely designed lobby with its distinctive industrial steel aesthetic. The open-plan front desk created a welcoming atmosphere, instantly bridging the gap between the hotel and its guests. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, completing my check-in in just a few minutes. To access the upper floors, you need to use your key card in the elevator, which I think is a great way to ensure guest privacy. My room was comfortably and cozily furnished, and all the drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary. My only minor critique is that there was only a small side table in the room, but this is a small detail that doesn't detract from the overall experience. The smart toilet in the bathroom provided a very comfortable experience. The public areas are located on the 14th floor, featuring arcade games, a gym, and laundry facilities, all available 24/7 for guests to enjoy in their leisure time. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, though unfortunately, I was too groggy in the morning to remember to take photos. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I hope to have the opportunity to return again.

GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, right by the subway exit. You can take the subway directly to Chimelong, Beijing Road, and Foshan. Hygiene: Pretty good, they clean every day. Double buffet supper: This is a unique feature – breakfast, afternoon tea, and supper. Although the variety isn't huge, it's enough to eat, especially since you want to save room for other local delicacies. The room facilities are quite new. The small size of the room was within my expectations; as long as I can lay my suitcase flat and open it, it's fine, since hotels are typically places where you're out early and back late. I initially thought a windowless room with a fresh air system would be okay, but I'd still recommend booking a room with a window. While I didn't notice it once I fell asleep, the room felt a bit stuffy when I first walked in.

PPcomI stayed for two nights this time, and overall, it was quite good! The location is excellent, right across from Shuiwei 9th Street, so if you want a late-night snack, you just cross the road to the food street. The hotel's decor is modern and functional! There's underground parking, but it's very narrow; larger cars, like a BMW 7 Series, probably wouldn't fit. The room facilities are great and very practical, thumbs up! I look forward to staying again next time.
