Good location and not too many units so breakfast area / dining is not over crowded. Near Underground train station, walking distance to famous Beijing Lu night shopping, convenient location with culinary joints along the streets including local food, popular Dim Sum restaurant next door, Beer joint across the street, Museum next door. Good price for high floor and amenities which include washing machine for self-washing of clothes; decent breakfast, afternoon tea, night-cap snack. Friendly staff. Some speak English. Night view include lit up Canton Tower in the distance

The hotel's design is very impressive, and the rooms are spacious. However, the management and service are not as professional as other hotels in the same category. The elevator system is also a bit complicated, as elevators in different wings go to different floors. As other reviews mentioned, the service is quite inflexible, though the staff's attitude is generally good. This time, I was shocked to find that the shampoo bottle had no dispenser tube inside, nor did I find a tube loose in the bottle. I'm not sure if it fell out naturally or if another guest took it. I guess I'll bring my own shampoo next time.

As a family with two kids, we were thoroughly impressed by the family-friendly services at this hotel! They provided two bed rails, ensuring both children slept safely, and even prepared two sets of children's toiletries and slippers, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was very spacious, allowing us to easily maneuver a stroller, and there was dedicated storage space to keep the kids' toys and clothes neatly organized. The hotel's kids' club is supervised by staff, so we felt completely at ease leaving our children there. This gave us parents some free time to hit the gym or enjoy a drink at the garden bar. It's truly perfect for families with two children!

I was looking to relive the nostalgia of Zhongshan International Hotel from 32 years ago, but it turned out to be the only disappointment of my accommodation during this Guangdong trip. I know a 40-year-old hotel shouldn't be expected to be perfect, and I can accept outdated facilities, but they should at least be functional, right? I specifically paid extra for a newly renovated room, only to find that one of the bedside charging sockets didn't work. They said they'd send someone to fix it, and after waiting 20 minutes, the front desk called to ask if I had requested a room change? The tone was quite abrupt. After agreeing to switch rooms, I was told to go downstairs to process the change. Once I did, I found the new room was old and not in the same category as the one I had paid extra for. Switching rooms again was quite frustrating. I hope they improve their service training. As the number one hotel in Zhongshan over 30 years ago, they shouldn't just rest on their laurels and stop striving for improvement.

My family has arrived the resident around 1240hrs which is much earlier than official check in time. However the counter staff was attentive whom has surprisingly offered to us with instant FOC upgrade from 2 rooms to 3 rooms unit and allowing us to move into unit immediately. It is located at 29 highest floors end of corridor corner unit. The viewing angle has 2 sides of street view instead of normal single side. One side of it is able to see Pearl river.😍😍It also just few walking steps to restaurant for breakfast or afternoon tea and gym are situated on the same level 😘😘 The pros 👍👍: 1. Great interior design with cosy ambiance. 2. The building security access is enhanced for guests safety. 3. In-room clothes washer with dryer and detergent was provided. 4. Breakfast with ample choice and perfect coffee served. 5. Daily housekeeping. 6. The food delivery is using robot to transport from L1 to guest room. The cons😩😩: A. The kitchen is empty without any cooking wares. B. In the late night some wired knocking noise from ceiling. C. The water pressure is low. D. The afternoon tea is served with very limited items. E. The guests have to alight along the road side without any shelter if bad weather. F. The Didi and Baidu app unable to locate J Resident which has to enter J Mansion (J 公館) G. The wifi is very unstable and easy disconnected. H. The double bed in each bedroom is only fitting for 2 small body sizes guests to sleep on it.

The Garden Hotel Guangzhou truly lives up to its platinum five-star reputation, exuding strong Lingnan charm! The lobby murals are stunning, and the 18-meter waterfall in the backyard is like a 'hidden paradise' right in the city center – perfect for photos. The guest rooms are retro yet comfortable, with excellent bedding. The service is attentive and thoughtful. Its location right by Taojin metro station makes getting around incredibly convenient. A perfect experience!

The location of Hengqin Bay Hotel is truly excellent. The hotel's free shuttle bus gets you to the park in about ten minutes. The package allows for multiple entries into the park, and you can even get in an hour early! The lobby features a magnificent oversized glass coral in the center, surrounded by large dolphin-shaped pillars, creating an incredible oceanic atmosphere. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and there's a quick check-out box available. The room had great natural light, and came with a balcony, bathtub, mini-fridge, and an electric kettle. The children's amenities were incredibly thoughtful – tiny slippers, toothbrushes, and bathrobes, all spotless. Every detail was meticulously considered! Shuttles run every 15 minutes, with routes to both Ocean Kingdom and Chimelong Spaceship Theme Park, and a one-way ticket is included with the room. The children's area at the water park is safe and fun, and the indoor heated pool offers a comfortable environment. The flamingo bay and dolphin pool encountered during walks are picturesque, adding to the leisure and enjoyment. The hotel truly demonstrates professionalism and dedication in every aspect of family travel. From comfortable accommodations to dining experiences, and from entertainment facilities to meticulous service, it offers a worry-free and delightful vacation choice.

The entire hotel really showcases a lot of thought and effort in its design, especially with all the small details – you can snap a great picture almost anywhere. The butler service was excellent and very attentive, and all the staff were proactive and welcoming. Our room overlooked the pastoral scenery through a full-length window, making it incredibly comfortable and airy. However, due to the overall design style, there's nowhere to hide or block views within the room. If you're not a couple, this might be a bit inconvenient. A small suggestion: adding blinds to the toilet and shower room doors would be helpful. Also, it would be great if some soft cushions could be provided in the cabinet for the tatami area, available for guests to use if needed. If you're looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful place for a getaway. On clear days, you can catch beautiful sunsets, and at night, you can look up to a sky full of stars and fall asleep to the sounds of nature. Just a heads-up: the pool wasn't open yet during our visit, and you need to communicate with the butler in advance to use the public hot spring area. The restaurant serves excellent new-style fusion cuisine with a farmhouse flair, and the butler will arrange everything perfectly for you. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I'd consider staying here again if I have the chance!

It's very close to the beach, the environment is great, and the location is super convenient – near the border gate, making it easy to travel to Macau and Hong Kong. The facilities are also well-equipped; for those concerned about hygiene when traveling, the hotel even provides disposable toilet seat covers. The rooms have many thoughtful designs, including a small vanity mirror, and the air conditioner vents have deflectors, which is a very user-friendly touch. The hotel also has a laundry room with washing machines, dryers, and irons, which is perfect for modern travelers who appreciate convenience and ease (honestly, I'm comparing you to a certain brand, and you're just as good, even better in terms of service). It's truly considerate. The hand soap smells lovely, and the staff ladies always greet you with a smile. When checking in, they even provide a local travel guide, so you don't have to worry about planning your outings. Any questions you have are answered thoroughly. The breakfast offers a wide and rich selection of items, and the freshly cooked noodles from the auntie at the noodle station are delicious. The hotel also provides four pillows, which is comfortable for using your phone while leaning against them, and convenient for people like me who prefer high pillows. Overall, it deserves five-star praise; the value for money is exceptional. I will definitely stay at your hotel again in the future. Wishing you prosperous business!

This time, I chose the Shangri-La Shenzhen with my wife, children, and my mother who came from Australia to stay with us, and the overall experience was very satisfying. Many years ago, I frequently stayed at Shangri-La hotels in different countries for work, so I'm very familiar with the brand. I'd always hoped to share this wonderful experience with my family one day, and now that dream has finally come true. The hotel staff—from the greeters at the entrance, the front desk, lobby security, cleaning team, to the restaurant servers—were all incredibly dedicated, polite, and attentive, making us feel completely at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kids had a blast in the pool. It would be even more perfect if they could add a heated pool, as the outdoor weather is still a bit chilly. The only minor suggestion is that the quality of the restaurant's buffet could be improved. It would be even better if it could reach the five-star standard of Shangri-La buffets in other countries. Overall, we are very grateful to all the staff at Shangri-La Shenzhen for making this family trip so warm and memorable with their professionalism and passion.
