Stayed at CityNote Hotel on Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and really enjoyed the experience. The location is hard to beat — you’re steps from the Beijing Lu metro station and can walk straight out into the pedestrian street with its shops, food stalls, and nightlife. Pearl River and several of the city’s historic sites (Nanyue King’s Palace Museum, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall) are all within easy reach on foot or a short ride.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a good work desk, air conditioning, and a well-equipped bathroom — everything you need for a business or leisure stay. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout the property, which mattered a lot for keeping up with work while traveling. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful with local recommendations.
For the price point, this is genuinely great value given how central it is — you can walk to nearly everything in old Guangzhou without needing a taxi. Would happily stay here again on a future trip.

Guest UserMy friend and I traveled from HK to Futian Mandarin Oriental to celebrate a birthday. I'd researched several hotels online beforehand and ultimately chose MO, a hotel I hadn't stayed at before. My main reasons were the hotel's reputation for quality and excellent service, as well as its convenient location for shopping, with a mall and many dining options right downstairs. From the moment we stepped out of the car and into the hotel, we could immediately tell it was different from other five-star establishments. The experience, from being greeted upon arrival, having our luggage promptly taken, being escorted to the 78th floor for check-in, and finally shown to our room, was incredibly smooth and warm. By the time we left, at least eight hotel staff members had interacted with us, and every single one was genuinely friendly and kind. This 100% positive interaction rate is something I've rarely encountered over the years.
For me, the air conditioning's coolness and quietness, as well as absolute cleanliness and a modern feel, are paramount in a hotel room, and they scored full marks on all counts. (I learned that this hotel has only been open for four years, and I truly hope they can maintain this excellent standard, as it's crucial for guests like us). I'd like to thank the gentleman who checked us in – I've forgotten his name, but he was incredibly thoughtful and proactive in anticipating our needs, making arrangements for us to attend a concert on June 26th. I also want to thank the lovely Victor, who showed us to our room, gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel, and took photos for us. And a special thank you to Brian, the 'Chef Concierge' (Golden Key member), who satisfied our curiosity by explaining the origin and role of the Chinese Golden Key concierges. Besides having a wonderful birthday trip, we also gained a rich experience in human connection. Thank you to everyone at Futian MO. We'll definitely be staying here again! ^.^

Anonymous UserThis time, we celebrated our anniversary by staying in an Executive Room at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, and the overall experience was excellent. As soon as we got out of the car, the bellboy promptly came over to help with our luggage, and then we checked in directly at the Executive Lounge. It was very efficient, and we didn't have to wait in line at the main lobby. The hotel had thoughtfully prepared a card and a cake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a very nice touch.
What left the deepest impression was the service. No matter where we were in the hotel, every staff member we encountered greeted us kindly, making us feel right at home. I'd especially like to commend Nicolo from the Executive Lounge, Oriental Club. From the moment we checked in, he was incredibly welcoming. Every time we visited the Executive Lounge, he remembered our names and always chatted with us pleasantly, with a smile on his face. His service was professional and friendly, adding many wonderful memories to our trip.
Additionally, Yamy and Silvia, who handled our check-out at the Executive Lounge, proactively asked if we wanted to pack some drinks and also gave us a refrigerator magnet.
The only thing that needs improvement is the late check-out policy. The front desk initially told me that it depended on availability and was generally not possible, and in the end, they could only extend it until 2 PM. Considering that hotels of a similar caliber usually offer more flexible late check-out options, I hope the hotel will actively consider extending the late check-out time.

The location is excellent, right downstairs from the Grand Buddha Temple, and only a 1km walk to Tianzi Pier for the Pearl River Night Cruise. The subway is also very convenient. The only downside is that it's on the 14th floor, sharing space with office buildings, so the elevators can sometimes be a bit slow. The staff, both the guys and girls, were all very nice; they upgraded us to a family room and were always helpful with our questions.

Guest UserThe location is super convenient, right next to Canton Tower and Zhujiang Park. For the river cruise, make sure to get there early as the lines get incredibly long. The room was spacious and the laundry facilities were a big plus. The only downside was that the elevators were a bit slow, requiring a wait no matter the time of day.

Having experienced the entire process at Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel – check-in, on-site activities, room stay, and check-out – every step was consistently excellent. Upon arrival, I was immediately drawn to the castle-like architecture and the expansive coastal gardens. The grounds were meticulously maintained, with the Flamingo Island, Dolphin Observation Area, and Water World forming the hotel's core attractions. Check-in was efficient, swiftly kicking off our vacation. The room conditions were satisfying: spacious, with a great balcony view. Room cleanliness was consistently high-standard, with detailed daily housekeeping ensuring the entire room was clean and odor-free. Bedding and bathroom facilities were in good condition, and the hardware was stable and functional. During our stay, we interacted with staff from various departments – front desk, concierge, housekeeping, Water World lifeguards, and restaurant staff – all of whom were friendly and genuine. They clearly explained the shuttle bus services and entertainment benefits, responded promptly to any issues, and provided service with just the right touch. Transportation was hassle-free; free shuttle buses were always available to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, and the circus was right across the street. The special yacht offers a unique aquatic travel option, and self-parking was convenient. Upon check-out, the process was quick, and luggage storage was simple, allowing us to explore the park further without being burdened. The hotel's dining and leisure facilities were comprehensive, with no noticeable shortcomings throughout our stay. From arrival to departure, the entire vacation flow was smooth and comfortable, with the environment, room cleanliness, staff service, and transportation all well-catered for. The hotel demonstrates balanced overall strength, making it a very reliable choice for a Chimelong vacation.

A truly rejuvenating stay for both body and mind, it's already on my list for future trips.
