The room was spacious, and there was plenty of hot water, plus the air conditioning worked really well. My only minor complaint is that they only offer laundry service and don't have a self-service laundromat. For summer travel, it's much more convenient to be able to wash and dry your own clothes. There was ample parking, which was super handy for picking up and dropping off people at the airport.

Facilities: The apartment is well-equipped, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Cleanliness: The room was clean and hygienic, with no strange odors. Environment: The apartment is very close to the airport, just a few minutes' drive away. Taxis are also very convenient, and there's a shopping mall nearby, so food and drinks are easily accessible. Service: The service was excellent, and the airport pick-up service was great; just contact the owner in advance. They also responded promptly to any issues. The room was very spacious and offered great value for money.

I was traveling alone, and I was quite happy to find a room for just over 90 RMB a night. Besides the rainy weather and a slightly damp comforter, everything else was super, super comfortable. The room was unusually spacious, not one of those tiny rooms. It had a projector and air conditioning. I think there was also a bar area for cooking, but I didn't pay much attention to it. The bathroom was quite large. It was pouring rain, and I had a late-night flight, but the lovely lady boss came to pick me up in a big car. She also woke up early to drop us off in the morning – really amazing!

We had a lovely stay, the room’s view was great, bed very comfortable, nice cotton good quality lienen, flexible room service time, water/towels etc always topped up/ refilled. Free luggage storage possible. All really smooth and pleasant. Keep in mind that if you choose smart room- need to say the commands to open the curtains in Chinese. I speak some Chinese and it made the check-in and stay easier, however the person who showed us the room wasn’t very friendly.

As an IHG member, I chose the InterContinental Xiamen Seaview for a trip to Xiamen with my parents to celebrate my mother's birthday. I communicated my needs via email before arrival, and the hotel upgraded us to a high-floor sea view room upon check-in, offering superb views, including a glimpse of the Mazu statue. The beach is just a ten-minute walk away, and getting around by taxi is very convenient. The room included a complimentary first round of mini-bar items and welcome fruit. The pool and sauna experience were excellent. When a minor issue arose with the room equipment, the hotel promptly responded by upgrading us to an adjacent room, and the resolution was very satisfactory. Special thanks to our butler, Vivian, who was incredibly responsive and helpful with all matters throughout our stay, solving many of our problems with exceptional dedication. The breakfast selection was extensive, and they even provided an extra breakfast for our party of three. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xiamen.

Our flight was originally scheduled to arrive at 1 AM, and I had arranged an airport pickup with the guesthouse owner. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we didn't land until past 5 AM. I woke the owner up, and he graciously drove to the airport to pick us up without any complaints. He even took us for breakfast and later dropped us off at the airport around noon. Running a business truly isn't easy! The guesthouse room was clean, tidy, and very quiet, with a comfortable bed. We fell asleep instantly and had a great rest. One of the rooms offered a lovely sea view, and we even caught the sunrise. The guesthouse looks exactly like the pictures on the platform. I travel frequently but rarely write reviews, especially one this long. Wishing the owner prosperous business and continued success!

Amazing service! Despite arriving at 11 p.m, we called the owner and the owner responded immediately even though it was already late at night. The owner was very helpful in helping us installing wechat and carrying our bags. Then, we asked him whether he could send us to the airport at 5 a.m. Surprisingly, he knocked on our door the next day to check up on us for the transport to airport. (****** ******* from Malaysia)

Digging into the treasure homestay by the sea alone! Away from the crowds in the downtown area, the environment is quiet and comfortable. Open the window to the blue sea. Every day, I am awakened by the morning light and the waves, and heal all fatigue. The rooms are full of details, blackout curtains, high-quality washing and care, and small refrigerators are all equipped, and the hygiene is impeccable. The boss treats people gently, responds promptly to messages, and always responds quickly if you need help. Sitting on the balcony in a daze and watching the sea, a great place to go on a vacation alone, full marks!

Gulangyu Liuyue Hotel, full marks, highly recommended! ✨ For accommodation on Gulangyu, look no further than Liuyue! The location is superb, very close to Sunlight Rock, and just a short walk to the beach. It's incredibly convenient for exploring, dining, and getting around. The environment is elegant and clean, and the rooms are tidy and comfortable. The sea view rooms offer an incredible view; open the window and you're greeted by the sea and lush greenery – so peaceful and therapeutic. The service is incredibly thoughtful. They send you the island arrival route in advance, and the staff are warm and patient, giving very helpful recommendations for routes and local food. Overall, the value for money is excellent. It's quiet and not noisy, and the stay was a perfect experience. This is definitely the top choice for Gulangyu, you won't be disappointed! 💯

We stayed here for a football tournament with 35 kids, and honestly, the service was outstanding from start to finish. Rebecca and her team handled our entire booking process flawlessly they accommodated every request we had and made a potentially chaotic trip feel completely seamless. Check-in was easy and smooth. We arrived close to midnight, but everything was pre-arranged so the kids could pick up the keys and go straight to bed. No waiting, no fuss—just quick and efficient. Breakfast had plenty of variety and a great spread that kept both kids and adults happy. The rooftop pool offers fantastic sea views, and we really appreciated that the lifeguards and general manager were fine with us swimming without caps, which isn't always the case in China. All in all, a fantastic hotel with genuinely attentive staff. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in Xiamen. Highly recommended!
