There was a mall right infront of the hotel too, well It was an excellence stay, very nice decorated, grand looking & u smell the special odour everywhere make u feel relax. special thank to linxue from front desk, and Mandy with Lisa from the executive lounge. Everyone says regent was one of the ceiling of luxury hotel, I’d gave it a try and it definitely worth ur money. From bellboy to kitchen even breakfast time, everyone pay attention at ur appearance. The front desk even allowed me to extend my check out until 230pm. Special thank to her I’ve got a box of souvenir from regent too. It is a little pricey but definitely worth be their loyal member or guest. Will be bk next time! I’m putting this review not to get any lucky draw award, simply share my true feeling

Jiefangbei Area/Hong Ya Dong
Good location. Nice hotel with industrial style Located in the Jiefangbei heart of Chongqing, this hotel has a very perfect location. The address itself is at Ba Yi road. The road in A-Z food variant. This is a pedestrian street with no vehicle pass through, except grab food motorcycles. It is a very crowded street. The night later it gets the more crowded it gets. But fortunately the hotel has a good soundproof quality, so we can still rest quietly.  Thanks to Christ Xiao, the Front office supervisor (I think), who made our check-in process smooth. Your English speaking ability is very assisting us. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is very moderate. Not many meal options. But the Breakfast room is on the 29th floor, which becomes a bar at night with 360 degree slow moving so we can enjoy the Chongqing city view from top. Very nice service. The hotel is near the metro station, with a 5 minutes walk. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. Overall, it is a very pleasant hotel for our China trip in Chongqing.

The hotel location is good, near shopping malls and pedestrian streets. The food at the breakfast was good with plenty of options to pick from. In the evening it’s a bit loud and if you are sensitive you will have trouble going to sleep. In the room’s WC there was a smell of urine. Overall not bad.

We had a wonderful 3D/2N stay at the Roosevelt Service Apartment in Chongqing. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, especially Yang, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Yang’s hospitality was truly exceptional and set the tone for our stay. The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The interiors were modern yet cozy, and the attention to detail in the design made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring Chongqing, with easy access to key attractions and transportation. Despite its central location, the apartment offered a quiet and peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Overall, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend Roosevelt Service Apartment to anyone visiting Chongqing and extend our gratitude to Yang for making our experience even more special!
Chongqing Longmenyu Village Homestay

Longmen Pu Village: A Serene Escape into Chongqing's Mountain Charm As an avid traveler, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Longmen Pu Village, a remarkable resort nestled in the heart of Chongqing's stunning mountain landscape. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the seamless blend of modern comforts and the region's rich, traditional charm. The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape. One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting. The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me. The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever. Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure. While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort. In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an immersive cultural experience, this resort delivers an unforgettable journey that I wholeheartedly recommend.
Taole Forest Hostel

Beibei
A cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings. Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends. The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on. There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn. A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day. The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish. The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there. My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.
Orange Crystal Hotel (Chongqing Guanyinqiao Branch)

Jiangbei Area
I have been stayed at Orange Crystal Hotel for three nights, and it was an exceptional experience. This is a brand-new hotel with excellent facilities—everything is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make both local(me) and international (my hubby)feel welcome and comfortable. One of the highlights was the attentive housekeeper, who was always polite and thoughtful. She even reminded us to take extra water whenever I was heading out. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of delicious restaurants just downstairs, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay at Orange Crystal Hotel. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!
Maiyue Hotel

Jiefangbei Area/Hong Ya Dong
Ok, in Chongqing, there are numerous hotels with great amenities, featuring great convenient location,, views, and affordable pricing to choose from. It gets to be a bit difficult to narrow down your choices when there are so many to choose from in the heart of downtown Jiefangbai. While I am sure all the hotels are great, we are SO HAPPY we chose Maiyue Hotel for our stay in Chongqing. #1 reason being the bedsheets and towels!!! They are SO SOFT and comfortable. Soothing. Delightful. Just straight makes you want to smile, hell I’m smiling right now imagining it touching my face, skin, everywhere! In fact, I need management to contact me about this review because I NEED TO KNOW how/where to buy the sheets and towels please!!! I hope you are hearing the Management at Maiyue Hotel!!! We NEED TO KNOW where to buy or if we can buy from you or??? Well, if that wasn’t enough for you to choose Maiyue Hotel, the stay was very pleasing. It’s a huge complex, sky high with multiple other hotel entities occupying the same building with Maiyue at the 44th floor being the reception area. Photos attached are from the 44th floor. Not everything was perfect though. For one, the writing on all the light switches is microscopic, infuriating to read, so you better have your phone flash or magnifier ready to read the fine print. Some of the power plug in sockets are broken, you’ll plug in to power and your cord just hangs halfway out from the socket (4515 was my room) and had 2 of these annoyances. Another is the lighting is inconsistent. 4513 was much brighter and more welcoming then 4515. That’s about it for the negatives though. Oh one more thing, the elevators might blow super cold air from the shafts when the doors open for you on the 44th floor. I mean all that air pressure and that high up will do that to ya. The breakfast was not very attractive to us fyi, glad we did not opt in for it but I am sure it is fine if you do opt in and it is a very nice dining area. Other things to love, the shower was great. I love ceiling shower heads in addition to another spout shooting out to your mid body. The housemaid for our floor was super friendly and very professional. The WeChat for assistance was also very prompt. Checking in and out was a breeze, in addition to borrowing umbrellas from the front desk. But back to the sheets/towels….Maiyue Management please get back to me on how to purchase them!!! Xie Xie!!!
Walling Hotel (Hongyadong Jiefangbei)

Jiefangbei Area/Hong Ya Dong
We had a great stay at Walling, the location is superb and the room is nice and comfortable and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Particularly staff no. 5, 6, 11. The location is really great, walking distance to Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, Daijiaxiang… and not forgetting the nice noodles for breakfast everyday. Chongqing is known for their 小面, and the noodle restaurant in the hotel serves nice noodles!
The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square
4.7/52906 Reviews
Jiefangbei Area/Hong Ya Dong
My stay at The Westin Chongqing was fantastic, and its prime location made it even better. The hotel is conveniently situated near many eateries and convenience stores, and it’s just a short walk to the famous Ba Yi Lu (Ba Yi Street) and Liberation Square. The breakfast spread was great, offering a good variety of delicious options. The reception staff was very thoughtful during check-in, even asking if I had any specific requirements for the room arrangement. As a light sleeper, I requested a quiet room, and they were kind enough to accommodate my request. Not only did they allow me to check in early (before 2 PM), but they also upgraded my room. The room was spacious and luxurious, and the bathroom was truly impressive. It featured a large bathtub and two sets of rain showers, which was an amazing touch. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at The Westin Chongqing, and I would definitely return for its excellent service and fantastic location.
