Great
SSS978The hotel itself is very nice, and the location is excellent—strategically located just outside the city wall, making it convenient to access the historic area and nearby transportation. The facilities and overall environment were pleasant.
However, I could not give full marks because of the service we experienced during checkout.
We needed to get to the train station with two carry-on bags and two large suitcases, and I was traveling with my 70-year-old mother. I asked the front desk if they could help call a taxi for us. Surprisingly, the request was refused. I find it unacceptable that such a basic request could not be accommodated.
It was also lightly drizzling at the time. Instead of offering assistance, the front office staff who did our check-out told us that we could simply walk across the street to the taxi stand and get a taxi ourselves. Doing so with multiple pieces of luggage and an elderly parent in the light rain is clearly not reasonable.
What made the experience even more disappointing was that after giving this response, she did not offer any further help and simply ignored us.
By the time I walked to the taxi stand, there was no taxi available. It’s also worth noting that Paseo de la Victoria is a large multi-lane avenue, not a small street that can be crossed easily.
In the end, I had to leave my 70-year-old mother waiting in the hotel lobby while I went across to the taxi stand myself. When a taxi finally arrived, I asked the driver to come back to the hotel entrance to pick us up. We were also rushing to catch our train, so the whole situation became unnecessarily stressful. Thankfully we still managed to make it on time, but this could easily have been avoided if the front desk had simply helped call a taxi.
I have been traveling to Europe multiple times every year since the early 2000s and have stayed in well over a hundred hotels across the continent. In all those years, this is the first time a simple request to call a taxi was so bluntly rejected by a hotel front desk. For a property that presents itself as a five-star hotel, this level of indifference to a basic guest request—especially when an elderly guest is involved—is simply unacceptable and left a very poor final impression of what was otherwise a pleasant stay.
Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about choosing to stay at other Eurostars properties in the future.
TTongWe spent four unforgettable days and three nights at the Seda Club Hotel in Granada. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, with Ms. Martha providing a warm and welcoming reception that instantly made us feel at home.
The personalized check-in process with Martha was exceptional, complete with a welcome drink and detailed information about the hotel's offerings and local attractions. Her kindness, patience, and respectful demeanor left a lasting impression.
The breakfast crew, particularly Rafael, were outstanding. Despite attending to multiple tables, Rafael provided swift and efficient service. We also appreciated his exceptional service during dinner on one of the evenings.
Special mentions go to Pablo, who provided excellent service on our departure day, and Imma, who made our checkout process smooth and warm. The concierge team, who assisted us with our bags and escorted us to the taxi, were also noteworthy.
The staff at Seda Club Hotel truly made our stay special. Our beautifully decorated hotel room showcased evident thought and attention to detail in its design. Every corner of the room featured fine touches and small details that added to its charm.
One minor suggestion for improvement: the coffee and kettle cabinet was slightly cramped, and we were concerned that the steam from boiling water might affect the glass shelves and surrounding food.
Overall, our stay at the Seda Club Hotel was truly memorable, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking exceptional service and accommodations in Granada.
GGuest UserIt was really amazing to be accommodated at the Palace Hotel just adjacent to (with a less than 5-minute walk) the entrance (the Gate of Justice) of the Alhambra Palace. The decoration of the hotel is classic and glamorous. Besides, we did enjoy the luxurious breakfast at the hotel with a stunningly beautiful city view.
GGuest UserThis hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Alhambra, which is a plus since it's right by the entrance to the attraction. Beyond that, there's not much to recommend. The breakfast wasn't good, and the service was just okay. Honestly, after experiencing this, I'd highly recommend staying at the Alhambra Palace Hotel instead, it's totally worth it. If they have availability, don't even hesitate. When I booked, the Alhambra Palace only had one night open. I wish I had known, I would have booked something in the city center for the second night. This hotel is up on the hill, which makes going out for meals inconvenient. There's also a tiny pool; I went up to look at the stars from there, but it was nothing special.
GGuest UserI saw staff guiding foreigners to their rooms, even giving them flower rings upon check-in. Yet, for us Chinese guests, there was no guidance, no explanation of breakfast or Wi-Fi, and certainly no flower rings. After pre-checking in earlier, I was promised my luggage would be in the room, but when I returned exhausted in the evening, I still had to go down to the baggage area to find it myself. And don't even get me started on the long queues for check-in where not even a glass of water is offered. Forget comparing it to hotels in China; it can't even hold a candle to hotels in Cordoba, Madrid, or Barcelona. Besides the good location and interesting architecture, there's nothing else worth praising!
ZZaidMy stay at Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort was truly one of the best parts of my trip to Spain. The resort is luxurious and perfect for families. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped — including a full kitchen, washing machine, and a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens and pools.
The location is excellent, right on the beach, in a quiet and safe area ideal for relaxation after visiting busy cities.
The facilities are amazing — both indoor and outdoor pools are great, especially for kids. The staff were very professional, friendly, and always quick to help with anything needed.
There’s also a convenient mini-market inside the resort and several restaurants and cafés nearby, making the stay very comfortable.
Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a calm, upscale stay — I’d definitely return on my next visit
GGuest UserEverything at the hotel was great, especially the staff, who were warm and friendly and remembered guests' names, making us feel right at home. The restaurant was also excellent; both the food and service were a plus. It's not far from the old town (except for the churches and castles, of course), but the old town isn't worth exploring (old towns in Spain are all the same). It's better to spend your time at the hotel; the beach is just across the street, and the street has a similar feel to the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France.
GGuest UserA good hotel in the very historical center of Cordoba (within the historical walls of the medina). All my wishes were fulfilled, the hotel staff showed themselves from the best side. My experience tells me that often hotels located in historical buildings have problems with electricity or water pressure in the bath, but not this time: in this hotel all electrical appliances and plumbing worked perfectly. I will mention the only problem: the Internet. We had three devices, and one of them could not connect to the hotel Wi-Fi. We encountered the same problem in another NH hotel - in Seville. I recommend that the technical specialists of this hotel chain check the compatibility of the Internet equipment with devices that are five years old or more.
GGuest UserSuch a beautiful hotel; all staff friendly and helpful. Amenities are fabulous, there is even a barista at breakfast and the buffet is worth every penny with freshly cooked eggs and omelettes etc alongside every pastry, bread, meat, fruit, cereal nut/seed you could possibly fancy. Experience manager was super helpful within minutes of arrival. Rooms very comfortable and well equipped with super lush towels, robes and slippers; there were even hair straighteners. We travelled light so this was def a bonus!! Very easy from airport as literally on the bus route which cost £4. Easy walk to old town. Ran out of time to use the beautiful pool 👌
SSunnyapfelThe hotel is conveniently located to any tourist attraction. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The hotel staff are friendly and polite. The breakfast is rich with local flavors. The hotel restaurant is also very good, with excellent food and service.
