5-Star Hotels in Sicily, Italy

A beautiful hotel with a private gate offering direct access to the Valley of the Temples, and tickets are available for purchase directly at the hotel. We were assigned a room with a view of the Temple of Concordia, which offered a stunning and unforgettable panoramic view. The interior space was comfortable and clean. Bottled drinking water was provided free of charge and replenished nightly, showing great attention to detail. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, good food, and excellent live music. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. However, it's important to note that getting to and from the city center is inconvenient. There are no shops nearby and no direct public transportation. After getting off the bus, some sections of the road lack sidewalks. Non-drivers are advised to take a taxi; negotiating the fare beforehand is recommended as it can be a quicker and safer option.

In total, it was a good stay. The price 1150€ for 2 nights is insane though. I like that the pool is open 24/7 and there is a beautiful restaurant with a view. The property also offered an upgrade, which was nice. The rooms are white and cold, though. Also the rooms should be cleaned while the guests are having the breakfast, so they need to use the updated system for tracking that.

Old money style, convenient location, very close to the main shopping street, many restaurants around, you can walk to the main attractions, there are also grocery stores around, it is also convenient to buy small items. The room is not small, the extra bed is also quite comfortable, larger than the average European hotel room. The European breakfast is so-so, there is nothing wrong with it, the breakfast room on the top floor is not small, the service is friendly.

I spent a wonderful 3-day stay with my wife at the Erem. The staff is available, courtesy and prepared; the location is simply fabulous: you note the respect of the original structure and the surrounding nature. Breakfast is 10! Central location compared to all the sites of greater interest. If we only move a note, we believe the bathroom should be renovated while respecting the original atmosphere. We will surely return. P. S. : The Arab fountain that crosses almost the entire structure would deserve to be studied in the hydraulic engineering faculties!

The hotel is located close to the bustling area, although the entrance is in the alley but the transportation is convenient. The hotel room is large, the breakfast is rich and delicious, there are a variety of novel coffees to taste at the bar on the first floor of the hotel, we tried barley coffee, very interesting. In addition, the small desserts given by the hotel are delicious, not too sweet and greasy but the taste is very layered. In addition, the alley of the hotel is a bit strange, close to the business district and there are photo attractions but there are few people. The room is spacious enough. The room was cleaned very well. The breakfast was good. The following are the shortcomings: First, the curtains cannot be drawn at all. Every time, the technician has to move a large ladder to manually close the curtains. Second, the shower head on the top of the bathroom has too little water and the temperature is too low. I dare not wash my hair for fear of catching a cold. Third, and the most important one! Don't stay in room 106! Less than one meter outside the window is the eaves on one side, blocking half of the view, and the eaves are wrapped in iron sheets. When it rains, the raindrops make a huge sound and it is impossible to fall asleep! I stayed for three nights and it rained for three nights... So when you come to Palermo during the rainy season at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, don't stay in room 106. When we placed the order, we asked for a high floor and a quiet room in advance, but the front desk guy gave us this room when we checked in. As a front desk, the professional requirement should be to know all kinds of rooms well; if we are allowed to stay in this room under the condition of understanding and the occupancy rate is not high, the motive can't help but make people suspicious.

The location of the hotel is good, but the service staff at the front desk lacks training, is very casual, and the room is very small. Breakfast is so-so. Compared with the price of more than 2,000, neither the service nor the facilities are cost-effective. The house facing the window and the house along the street have no scenery. Breakfast is also more ordinary. Overall: 3/5. More disappointed.

We start with cleaning the rooms and the rooms, I have rarely found such a high level, all ”clean and fragrant”. The hotel is very well located, is in the centre of Siracusa and within 10 minutes' walk from the beautiful Ortigia. Highly professional staff, very available and kind. Breakfast is particularly varied and quality. The building is a perfectly renovated and refurbished building for the hotel, with few rooms (I think about 15) and common space with the right colors and the right lighting. We will return and next time we will also dine at the restaurant, which reserves, among other things, 10% discount for hotel customers.

A resort type hotel in form of brick bungalow in Europe. It comes with a private pier where you could board on a comfortable boat going to Ortigia (the old town) in half an hour. The landscape there looks so gorgeous that anyone who lives in this hotel should miss it. It also has a private beach which can be accessed through a private tunnel which is quite interesting. Overall, a very beautiful resort overlooking the ortigia with very friendly services and 5-star facilities.

The location is simply great, the most beautiful sunset can be seen from the balcony window. There are many very good restaurants downstairs. The hotel is bright and elegant. Good service. A rare good hotel in Sicily, the price is not bad.
