The hotel is in the best location od Pretoria, connected with many restaurants, shops. It is new, beautiful and in the new area of Pretoria. The personal is all so friendly and helpful. Our room is very big, nice and comfortable.
The sanitation is relatively clean, and the environment is also good in the business district. But the service is very general, the room has a small 4 bottles of water, if you don't disturb the mode, you will not leave water at the door. The facilities are also general, the hair dryer is broken.
We made use of the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The drivers were helpful and friendly. This is a great value-added service. We were welcomed at reception by friendly staff. We were helped to our rooms. The rooms are modern, functional, and comfortable. We went to the 6th floor for dinner. The restaurant and bar there is called Level Seven. The staff there told us it was a privately owned restaurant and bar. We sat in the bar and ordered food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The only good thing about the food that night was that the fries were awesome and seasoned well. Breakfast the next morning in the main restaurant on the ground floor was exceptional—friendly staff and really good food. Overall, a great stay, let down unfortunately by the food at Level Seven.
I arranged four king-bed rooms at this hotel for my guests. Unfortunately, their experience at the hotel restaurant was quite unsatisfactory.
During the meal, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only our table present. Despite this, service was noticeably slow and inattentive. After the starters were cleared, there was a long delay before anyone followed up regarding the main course. Even after ordering, plates were not brought in time, and the overall pace of service was unusually slow.
Under such circumstances, it was difficult to understand the reason for the delay. The experience left a negative impression and fell short of what would be expected from a hotel of this standard.
I loved everything about this hotel. I got drinks menu on arrival which was served free of charge, wasn’t expecting that in South Africa🤪🤪
Check in was super quicknand smooth, beautiful room with proper amenities. The hotel is in a good location sorrounded by nature. The services was 10/10, with super friendly and helful staff. I was impressed by the breakfast options and the restaurant itself….stunning and aesthetically pleasing.
I didn’t like their cocktails menu🥺🥺 they don’t have classic ones. 90% of their cocktails are made with sminorf 18/18 which isn’t cool.
Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely come back!
A beautiful and safe place to stop in Pretoria. A very friendly host, settled us much earlier than the time of settling, which gave us a chance to rest after a long flight. This place is managed by very nice people. The room smelled nicely, it was very clean, the mattress and the pillow were comfortable, we were comfortable. The air conditioner works well. The feeling of security is present, the territory is protected. The only thing I didn't have was a hair fan. And noise isolation has a little disappointed, we heard people talking outside our room in the morning. In general, I can boldly recommend this place, you will meet as good friends :)
Stayed here before and main reason was close to airport, in safe complex, access to restaurants etc at Emperors Palace.
Rooms clean and decent standard,
Breakfast good and staff ready to help.
Overall good and would stay again

PPierre04A Truly Exceptional Stay at Fairlawns Boutique Hotel
My recent stay at Fairlawns Boutique Hotel in Johannesburg was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I felt enveloped in an atmosphere of calm, luxury, and genuine hospitality. This is the kind of property that doesn’t just meet expectations — it elevates them.
I was booked into one of the Villa Suites, and it was an experience in itself. The suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, blending elegance with comfort in a way that felt both indulgent and homely. Every detail from the plush furnishings to the serene garden views contributed to a sense of effortless relaxation. It truly felt like a private sanctuary.
The service throughout my stay was impeccable. Staff members were warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was assistance with luggage, dining recommendations, or simply a friendly check‑in to ensure everything was perfect, the team consistently delivered with professionalism and charm.
The hotel grounds are equally impressive. Lush, tranquil, and meticulously maintained, they create a peaceful escape that feels worlds away from the bustle of the city. It’s the ideal setting for unwinding, whether by the pool, in the spa, or simply strolling through the gardens.
Dining at Fairlawns was another highlight. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with a menu that balances creativity and comfort. Every meal felt like a treat.
Overall, Fairlawns Boutique Hotel offers an exceptional blend of luxury, privacy, and heartfelt hospitality. My stay in the Villa Suite was unforgettable, and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone seeking a refined and restorative escape in Johannesburg.
GGuest UserHotel is rated at 5star but the amenities are quite average. The standard king size room is smaller than I have experience in some other hotels if that range. You do not find water glasses in the room. Room service is very slow and sometimes your call will just keep transferring between room service and reception if you needed something. If you ordered food in your room, you have to make payment immediately. It does not amount up to check out. There is only one restaurant, one cafe in the hotel. You can walk up to nearest restaurant for your food that is 800m away.Pool is there but you have to carry your own towel. The day we arrived, there was a birthday party around the pool with loud music. We avoided going to pool side. Shoe shiner is in the lobby and if you get your shoes cleaned he needs to be paid as compliment and that complement begins with 100rand minimum. To me it’s an average hotel and ok for a couple of days. It had some conference going on so extra crowd was also in the lobby for the two days we stayed If you are looking for a luxery experience, better choose another hotel. This hotel is ok for not more than two days of stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel is was definitely one of my favorite stays. I made my booking around 7pm for a stay later that same night, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout the entire process. The rooms are impeccably clean and wonderfully spacious, easily ranking among the best hotel accommodations I've experienced during my visits to Johannesburg.
The attention to detail and commitment to guest comfort is evident in every aspect of this wonderful establishment. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the well-appointed, comfortable rooms, this hotel has exceeded my expectations and solidified its position as one of my top preferred places to stay in the city.
Although bathrooms may need a bit of an upgrade,
I am confident that I will be returning to this hotel on my future visits to Johannesburg.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay and truly experienced some of the best hotel service of our entire South Africa trip. The staff went far beyond our expectations — always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made us feel so welcomed and well looked after throughout our stay.
The hotel is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood, giving us great peace of mind while exploring the area. We also loved the room design — beautifully styled, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, making it a perfect place to relax after a day out.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

GGuest UserThe hotel was located in a central location. Its near a big shopping.
The room was clean and thoroughly clean daily.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
When staying there, have dinner at Aurum at least once. It's a restaurant with good food great ambience and service.
