This hotel is located in the Hobart CBD, surrounded by numerous restaurants. Enjoying breakfast with a sea view was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast spread included a variety of fruits, with the option to make your own freshly squeezed juice, which was a major highlight. Although it was just a fleeting one-night stay, the experience was excellent, and the King-size bed in the room was incredibly comfortable too.

The facilities were clean and tidy. The only downside was that I had completed the check-in process in the morning, but when I returned in the evening, it hadn't been done. At the previous hotel (Grand Chancellor Hobart), they even brought our luggage to the room with a similar process. Also, due to other cars in front of the hotel, the parking lot was very difficult to access. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the room's air conditioning, so it got cold in the early morning. Additionally, there weren't many TV services (which I wanted for the kids). I think this would be a very comfortable hotel for a regular trip.
This is a very nice hotel with high rise hotels and lower rise buildings of rooms which are quieter and next to the water. The view is fabulous, services is great and there are lots of restaurants and bars around. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart.

The room was great, with comfortable bedding and a fantastic view of Mount Wellington from the balcony. The front desk service was also good; I was able to borrow an adapter and get some helpful local tips. The hotel has underground parking, but it costs $17.50 per day. Although street parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays, it's hard to find a spot, so we opted for the hotel's paid parking instead. We stayed for three nights and were quite satisfied.

The hotel is conveniently close to Woolworths, making it easy to grab groceries. If you're skipping breakfast at the hotel, Pigeon Whole Bakers is just a short walk away. The room was quiet and clean. Disposable amenities and supplies can be delivered to your room upon request. For my two-day stay, one of the elevators was out of order the entire time, so I had to patiently wait in line whenever I needed to go up or down.

Probably one of the best place in terms of of location and convenience. Room is clean and security is good. If you drive got to pre book the carpark which the entrance is at the back lane. Checked in at late night and there is some one at night shift to open the door and pass the key.

We stayed twice at the Ibis and we enjoyed it a lot! It is well located in Macquarrie street, just minutes from Cafes and shops. The waterfront is only 1 k away also where you will find lots of great cafes and restaurants! The rooms are clean with modern amenities. Very comfy beds! The lap pool is located on the third floor with views of the city and bay! Pretty amazing views if you are lucky enough to score a room overlooking the city/bay! The staff are generally friendly and attentive. I would recommend if you're looking for a well priced, clean and modern hotel room!

The hotel is quite new and boasts a prime location in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. There are many Chinese restaurants nearby; I tried two, and both were delicious, plus I had a fantastic grilled fish. A Woolworths supermarket and an Asian grocery store are just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic, indicating excellent management. Valet parking costs $40 per day. Do note that toiletries and slippers are not provided (this is common in most Australian hotels). The hotel breakfast is $30 per person, and the food quality is good (compared to other Australian hotels). There's a gentleman at the front desk who speaks Chinese, and all staff members have excellent service attitudes. The hotel was very busy, with quite a few Chinese guests staying. On the downside, there was no bottled water, which I found to be the case in several hotels I stayed at in Tasmania. Also, the shower in the room doesn't have a door, so you have to be careful when showering to avoid wetting the bathroom floor.

GGuest UserIt seems to be the former Travelodge hotel. It's built right by the road, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window in the room looking out onto it. The room itself is quite spacious, but the soundproofing isn't great. There aren't many shops nearby, just one Subway according to the map, and the hotel does have a restaurant. I guess many people stay here just for one night to catch a flight, as it's the only hotel close to the airport. They offer a paid shuttle service, $10 for one person and $15 for two, with the earliest shuttle at 7 AM. Our flight was too early, so we couldn't use it. Be warned! Even though it's close to the airport and a taxi should only be around $12, drivers might try to overcharge. Our taxi driver demanded $30. Since we had some extra time, we refused and decided to walk to the airport ourselves. It was almost 2 kilometers, and walking alone in the middle of the night with no one around was actually a bit spooky.

VViv Chan YCBest Western Plus is situated at a great and convenient location in the heart of CBS. it's within walking distance to almost all city attractions. the bed is v comfortable and facilities are good considering the room rate. it is also v close to the City Park, like 7 mins by walking, great to hv a run in the morning. The front desk staff are v friendly and helpful. Tamar Valley Cruise is 18 mins walking, you can book tickets online or buy it there.
GGuest UserThis beachfront cabin is right on Honeymoon Beach, offering stunning views. The hotel restaurant is also quite good. It's a 9-minute drive to the lighthouse boardwalk, and 6 minutes to the Sleepy Beach parking lot, from where it's a 10-minute walk down to the beach. Wineglass Bay parking is about a 10-minute drive, then it's a 40-minute walk to the lookout and over two hours to the beach.
HHinson523It felt like staying on a farm. The scenery was beautiful, there were lots of animals, and the starry sky was stunning. The location is great for those with a car, and you can feed the animals for free. The hotel also has an orchard where you can pay to pick cherries. It was a lot of fun!
GGuest UserWe didn't notice that we needed to check in before 6pm. When we arrived at the hotel after the Cradle Mountain hike, it was just over ten minutes. At first, we thought we had found the wrong entrance to the reception (it was a regular hotel, not a B&B, so we didn't expect that we couldn't check in so early. The sun didn't set until 8pm). There were two staff members sitting at the reception counter (glass door, visible from the outside), and no matter how we knocked or gestured, they just shook their hands. There was a small iron box on the door that needed to be opened with the password given in the email, and there was a key inside. But there were several big words in my email: Unable to display the content of the email! There was no way, we called the hotel, but they didn't answer and transferred the call to voice, so we had to leave a message. Just when we were about to contact Ctrip, the people inside finally came out, opened the iron box, and gave us the key. How arrogant!!!
YYuchenThe hotel itself is very beautiful, great location as well. However the room feels very stuffy, the balcony is locked only a small window is left open and the screen window is incredibly dusty, I don’t think it’s ever been cleaned. Also the housekeeping is very unprofessional, she came straight in without even knocking the door around 9am while we are still sleeping, just saying hello when unlocking the door. Unhappy about that.
GGuest UserA quaint hotel close to the historic Port Arthur site. We were given a cosy 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, lounge and dining area so we cooked the food we already had. Great service from the reception staff. Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat there. I would definitely stay there again. No hesitation in recommending this budget hotel for accommodation.
