4-Star Hotels in Guangxi, China

All the staff, including reception and cleaning team, was very receptive and I love the location of the hotel! It's right at the entrance of 正阳 Walking Street, which means food options are aplenty and nearby attractions (e.g., 日月双塔) are walkable. In the past 2 days, I had been walking to the pond to catch the sunset which added to my travel experience in Guilin. If anything, the walls in the hotel are relatively thin so sometimes you can hear people along the corridor. Also, the smell of smoke lingers in the lift and the 4th floor (where the laundry room is) sometimes, but it's bearable because you don't stay in those areas for long. It'll also be better if the hotel toilet has a bidet, but small issue. Regardless, huge thanks to the team for facilitating my wonderful stay in Guilin!

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive. Given the humidity in the mountains, the dehumidifier in the room was a thoughtful touch that really enhanced our comfort. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent, even in the public areas, everything was very clean. Environment: The spacious lounge on the first floor offers coffee, tea, and a small ice maker for guests to use. There's a restaurant on the second floor, and a sightseeing balcony on the top floor which is perfect for photos on a clear day. Service: After our Li River cruise from Guilin, the hotel arranged for a car to pick us up, which arrived right on time – very considerate! When we checked out, they even gave us a complimentary local rice noodle souvenir. I highly recommend this place. The weather wasn't ideal during this trip, but I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

I'm finally getting around to reviewing this hotel a week after my trip, and I can honestly say, without exaggeration, that it's been the best overall hotel experience I've had in years, haha. Before my trip, I compared many places online and even booked one initially before canceling it. I usually prioritize hotels that have opened within the last three years because their facilities tend to be newer. I had prepared myself for the possibility that the actual place might not live up to the online photos, but I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised upon arrival. From the thoughtful little amenities and drinks prepared by the front desk to the room's decor and the front desk staff and 24-hour butler's warm and patient assistance with all our questions, the entire experience was incredibly comfortable. Our room had a coffee machine that we didn't use, but we certainly made good use of the 75-inch big screen. We didn't watch any sports, but we binged two days' worth of shows, which was very relaxing. Also, the hotel's laundry service exceeded expectations; the clothes I sent for washing came back neatly folded in a bag and even had a faint, pleasant scent. The hotel's restaurant was also excellent; the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and the dining time was generous. Our room came with a voucher for a dish called 'Li River Shrimp,' and we used it for lunch. The dish redeemed with the voucher was, in my opinion, the best, and the other dishes were also delicious. The overall experience was fantastic, with only one minor flaw: the shower drain in our room was a bit slow. However, I didn't report this to the front desk at the time because I was so incredibly satisfied with everything else that this small issue was easily overlooked, haha. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Wishing you all a pleasant journey!

Facilities: Undoubtedly the best in Liuzhou! Opened in 2025, so everything is brand new. They even have family rooms with slides, which my kids absolutely loved! Plus, there's a public kids' ball pit on the 2nd floor, providing another great spot for children to spend time. Hygiene: The rooms have wooden floors instead of carpets, so there's no unpleasant smell when you enter, unlike other hotels. Thumbs up!👍 Ambiance: The lobby is on the 13th floor, and you get amazing river and bridge views while enjoying afternoon tea and breakfast. The experience was truly wonderful. Service: The front desk staff were warm and courteous. Our two rooms came with a complimentary 3-hour electric scooter rental, which was incredibly convenient for exploring the local nightlife! Location: The hotel is situated in Wuxing Street, the most vibrant area, and you can walk there in just 2 minutes. Super convenient! The only minor drawback is that the water quality in the infinity pool could use more filtration and disinfection.

Came to Guilin with my parents and kids. The hotel was easy to find, straight from the airport. 1) We booked the Little Yellow Duck family room, which the kids loved, especially the rooftop pool on the 9th floor – they didn't want to leave! From the rooftop, you can see the distant scenery. Breakfast was also great, eating by the window with a view was very pleasant. 2) The hotel is close to Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas, both within walking distance. 3) A very sweet lady at the front desk escorted us to our room, gave us an introduction, and reminded us to keep the door closed to prevent mosquitoes. Indeed, we weren't bitten, and there were mosquito repellents plugged in many spots. We had two young children, and they thoughtfully provided kids' toothbrushes and slippers. When we left, a friendly young man on the rooftop gave us a mosquito repellent spray. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend going to this hotel!! The staff are really kind, friendly, and helpful. I had a situation with a DiDi driver about my lost item and one of the front desk staff, Xiaoxue 小雪, really helped me a lot in talking with the driver since my Chinese is not at that level yet. She helped me in handling the process and everything. Because of this situation, I am surely going back to this hotel for my next stay in Nanning! The rooms are also clean and the beds are comfortable. Location is near the Nanning Railway Station and the city center.

My stay at Daxin Hualu Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The complimentary self-serve fruits and snacks at the entrance were fresh and delicious, perfect for a quick bite anytime. The breakfast spread was extensive and incredibly tasty, and dinner offerings were exquisite with outstanding flavors. The hotel also provides free bicycle rentals, which was lovely for a leisurely ride around the area. The environment is serene and comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere, making it incredible value for money.

This hotel, recommended by my friend, is truly excellent! The environment is lovely and quiet, and the decor and smart features are fantastic. Most importantly, the front desk lady was incredibly warm and thoughtful. When I called and during check-in, she even playfully entertained and held my baby, which I really appreciated, especially a big shout-out to Ms. 018! The hotel's Mousse bedding was so comfortable that my little one fell asleep instantly. It really lives up to its brand reputation. Whenever I come to Wuming in the future, the Meiya Hotel will always be my first choice.

Great hotel location, very convenient for walking to scenic spots like Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas. The room facilities are complete, clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. The air conditioning works wonderfully. The front desk staff are warm, attentive, and helpful, answering all questions and making us feel right at home. The hotel environment is excellent.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! Location: It's right downstairs from the Li River Tourist Center, making it super convenient to get to the 20 Yuan scenic spot, take a bamboo raft, or visit Xiangong Mountain. The ancient town is also right next door, so dining and shopping are a breeze. Amenities: They've got a starlight ceiling, Dyson hair dryers, smart toilets, complimentary chilled drinks, earplugs, laundry detergent, and a smart voice control system. Service: The service was excellent. They helped carry luggage to and from the room, and were incredibly warm and thoughtful. They even provided a complimentary breakfast, which was really good quality. The Guilin rice noodles were delicious, they used Mengniu fresh milk, the sausages were proper meat sausages, eggs were fried fresh on the spot, and the coffee was from Cotti. Very satisfied overall. There were also many international guests staying at the hotel.
