I had a pleasant stay at Atour Hotel Haikou Wanguo Metropolitan Qilou Old Street. Prior to arrival, I requested an early check-in as well as a high-floor room away from the lifts if possible, and the hotel accommodated both requests perfectly. The room was located on a high floor and offered a fantastic 270-degree panoramic view, which was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout. Special thanks to Front Desk Manager 万新, team member 幸怡, and the rest of the team, who went above and beyond in assisting with the collection of multiple parcels before my arrival. Their proactive assistance and warm hospitality were greatly appreciated. Communication was also very convenient, as the front desk was highly responsive via WeChat and quick to assist whenever needed. Some feedback during the stay: The room itself had a somewhat unconventional layout, likely due to the building's structure and the corner positioning required to achieve the panoramic view - totally understandable and appreciate the Front Desk for explaining it to me upon my arrival. From previous reviews, I had expected the room to feature smart controls (possibly Xiaodu, heated/automated toilet bowl as seen on other reviews), but I was not briefed on any smart room functions during check-in and could not seem to activate them myself. This was not a major issue, but a brief introduction during check-in or a simple user guide in the room would have been helpful. The panoramic view was absolutely stunning, especially during the day and around sunset. One thing to note, however, is that the floor-to-ceiling windows allow a significant amount of sunlight into the room. On particularly sunny days, the room could feel quite warm even with the air-conditioning running at full blast. Blackout curtains are provided, of course, but drawing them somewhat defeats the purpose of enjoying such a spectacular view. Breakfast was decent, offering a reasonable variety of options, although nothing particularly stood out. It was perfectly adequate for starting the day, but not one of the hotel's main highlights. One small observation regarding housekeeping: on my third morning, while I was heading out for breakfast, a housekeeper casually asked me in the corridor whether I was ”still staying today.” I understood that she was likely trying to confirm whether the room required servicing or whether I would be checking out, but the phrasing felt a little awkward. A more guest-friendly way of asking might create a better impression. A couple of other points worth noting: sound insulation around the room doors could be improved, as neighbouring room doors closing could be quite noticeable. In addition, the room door requires a firm push to shut completely; otherwise, an alarm will sound. There were also some mosquitoes around the hotel premises, although the room was thoughtfully equipped with an electronic mosquito repellent. The hotel's location is reasonably convenient, but it is worth noting that it is not quite as close to Qilou Old Street and some of the nearby attractions as I had initially expected. While the area is technically walkable, Haikou's heat and humidity can make the walk feel much longer and less pleasant, especially during the day. In practice, I often found myself opting for Didi (online-hailing app)instead. Not a major drawback, but something to keep in mind if you plan to explore the area primarily on foot Overall, the excellent service, responsive staff, and spectacular panoramic view made for a very enjoyable stay. Despite a few minor quirks, I would happily stay here again on a future visit to Haikou.

This is a four-star hotel, and admittedly, some of the facilities are a bit old. When I arrived in Haikou, it had just rained, and there was a musty smell in the room and corridors, which was a bit off-putting. However, everything else was quite good. What stood out was that the shower water was natural hot spring water, and you could even enjoy the hot springs from 2 PM to 10 PM daily. For a room rate of just over 100 RMB, it's truly excellent value for money. Plus, the hotel is located right in the old town, full of local charm and a lively atmosphere. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Haikou.

The hotel manager went above and beyond with personalized off-property recommendations, guiding me to the best local gems—from a vibrant jazz bar to a charming walking street and an exquisite French restaurant. Every recommendation was a real treat, showcasing true VVIP bespoke butler-style service that made my trip even more special. I have traveled extensively across Asia, and I can confidently say that MOS Hotel Haikou holds a unique charm that is hard to find elsewhere. Moreover, during my stay, I was fortunate enough to participate in special edition events that showcased the island's vibrant culture and creativity. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and inspiration, making my visit even more memorable. As a film studio executive, I can say with certainty that MOS Hotel Haikou exceeded all my expectations and more. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was excellent and varied, offering fruits, bread, hot dishes, and even freshly cooked items. The room also came with complimentary drinks, and you could pick up free coffee at the front desk. They even provided late-night snacks! But what truly stood out was the service. The front desk staff were not only beautiful but also had lovely voices, making every interaction a pleasure.

My overall experience during this stay was above average, and the hotel's strengths were very clear. The location is excellent, close to commercial areas and transport hubs, making it very convenient for getting around and finding food. The front desk staff were efficient at check-in and check-out, and their attitude was polite and gentle. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily on time, and the tabletops and bathroom were quite clean. The mattress was neither too soft nor too hard, and the soundproofing at night was decent, ensuring a basic good night's sleep.

Aijing International Hotel in Wenchang 2024/02/06-08 Front desk not really helpful. Just want you to go as it was the whole time ”OK, OK...” and ”I'll take you to your room”... But no help with luggage, nor an answer if the kitchen would have something for me to eat... I sent my list of allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, honey and soy) to the hotel's wechat the evening so that they could give it to the kitchen... First room: The fridge was not cold. Bathroom floor wet and entrance floor dirty 😰 The manager came and was friendly and helpful. He helped me with my luggage to another room 8505, which was larger. Here the fridge was also not really making cold and switched off when going out. They couldn't give an extra card for electricity. In the morning the manager showed me the different food at the buffet that I could eat, but I never received the pork etc, he promised the previous evening, for breakfast nor answered my message when I asked if I should wait for it... For breakfast I could eat the fruit and in a steam basket a piece of corn-on-the-cob, sweet potato, yam and taro. They also had corn flakes. Interesting they had 3 milk options: cow milk, soy milk and coconut milk... The second evening I spent an hour on Wechat with reception to find out if the kitchen could prepare something for me with my allergies - I did give it the previous evening.... Then I went for a walk on the beach... When I came back, they hadn't prepared the fish! The manager gave me a coconut with a straw to drink the juice... So I only wasted my time to find out if they could prepare something - I did give them my list in Chinese of what I cannot eat...😰 Luckily I always have some food with me... The fish tanks are outside the dining room so you can choose your fish fresh.... As in most places in China 😊 Swimming pool was empty. Good comfortable beds. Down duvets. Nice spacious room with little balcony, but balcony has a concrete wall, not glass to see through... From the premises you go directly onto the beach! Very nice quiet environment away from the crowds! After the fireworks at 21:00 the outside lights were switched off and then you only hear the sea... If you do not have transport, it is a bit far, but if you want to go and rest for a few days, away from crowds, then this is a good place 😎🤠🌻🏝️🏖️ Thete are charging facilities for electric cars... @

Fantastic beachfront location! Just a short walk from the hotel to the beach at Tianya Town. The room's balcony offers an expansive view, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning and enjoying the sunset in the evening – truly magical. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredibly soothing. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay in Sanya this time. Highly recommend!

The front desk efficiently handled our check-in, and the staff were incredibly kind and patient. Seeing that we had a child, they kindly upgraded our room for free. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and featured a wet/dry separated bathroom. The bedding was soft and comfortable, allowing us to fall asleep quickly after a long day. The soundproofing at night was excellent; we couldn't hear any hallway noise, ensuring a high-quality rest. The hotel's amenities are incredibly practical: a 24-hour free gym with a full range of equipment, and a self-service laundry room with both washing machines and dryers – essential for long trips. They even provide complimentary laundry detergent, and you get a notification when your laundry is done. This was a huge relief, as we didn't need to pack a lot of extra clothes. Room service was meticulous, promptly replenishing drinking water and toiletries. The overall service was just right – attentive without being intrusive. With reliable facilities and excellent service, I will definitely prioritize Hilton Garden Inn for future stays. Highly recommended.

For this price, there's nothing to complain about at this hotel. They even offer a complimentary shuttle to the duty-free shop. I specifically took photos of the breakfast this morning because both the adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed it. As we were leaving, I opened the door to find a welcome fruit basket hanging there – such a thoughtful touch! The front desk staff, particularly a young man named Dalin, provided exceptionally attentive and considerate service. I also want to give a special shout-out to the cleaning staff. I noticed over the past two days that after we finished our takeout meals, we'd leave the rubbish outside the door, and it would be collected incredibly quickly. The overall service mindset here is outstanding.

Came here with my bestie and we instantly fell in love with this B&B! The sea view is absolutely stunning; every photo we took turned out amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, and the layout was cozy and comfortable – a truly delightful stay. It's also super convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. We loved just sitting by the window, chatting and watching the sea, and taking evening strolls on the beach – so relaxing and lovely. The host was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every detail. This B&B really enhanced our entire trip; we felt so comfortable and happy here. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and we're planning our next get-together here. I highly recommend it to all you ladies!
