10/10 for staff! They were all so very lovely and accommodating, extremely friendly and approachable. I would happily stay here again for that alone. The hotel was gorgeous, easy to get lost! Thankfully plenty of toilets if you get stuck somewhere unfamiliar and in need of one.. The wedding was stunning, I don't think they could have chosen a better place for such a lovely day.. Very organised, lovely food and atmosphere, staff were extremely good at managing to keep with the vibes whilst sticking to the plans where needed. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choices, calm environment and lots of choice for seating areas. The room and bathroom could be cleaner and a little tlc but otherwise very happy. Thank you for a memorable time. (Grubby phone, dry food on the floor and wall, hair that wasn't ours in the bathroom, a loose door handle in the bathroom, a large black mark in the bath that looked like it had been melted, cracked tiles along the edge of the bathroom wash, poor sealant on the bath)

Our stay at Kilkea Castle was everything we dreamed of for our bucket-list ”sleep in a European castle”! The staff was incredible and helped us with anything we asked for - including on site booking like meals & spa but also help with off-site food recs and bookings. We stayed in the Fitzgerald Suite for Halloween night which was on the priceir side but well worth it for the stunning views, claw tub in the castle tower, and the overall castle vibe of the room. The grounds were incredible! We enjoyed exploring the gardens during the day and at night under the moonlight. All of our meals were great too (2 breakfasts and 1 dinner at the clubhouse). Everything about this location is dreamy!!

I have stayed at this hotel 4-5 times because there is not many options in Maynooth center, that why they tend to have high prices for rooms, they have done some renovations to the place and it looks better, unfortunately on Saturday night the smoke alarm went off twice 11:30pm and 12:30am, and again on Sunday morning around 11:30am the staff seemed to think it no big deal from my conversation at front desk, unfortunately for me my son got very scared about the situation and didn’t sleep very well that night.

We stayed for a few nights in summer. The service was very good. The food was very good . The underground parking was very good.

Room was good. Big bed. Bath. Dinner good. Breakfast buffet. Look out for the menu on the counter. It isn't on the menu, but they also do porridge!

The hotel was excellent, staff are well trained. We did the bbq in the evening and the steaks and lamb chops were great. The garden has a large movie screen for families and the breakfast was very good quality. This is an excellent stay just south of Naas.

Excellent service and staff breakfast was very good and highly recommend. Looking forward to going back ASAP.  Only problem been vegetarian menu was very poor although staff tried there  best to accommodate my requirements. And 25 euros each to use  Spa was not acceptable.

I chose Barberstown for a two-night stay on a business trip. The hotel is located in the suburbs, with a comfortable environment and a long history. The room window overlooks the blooming pink cherry blossoms. The details of the sanitary services are very well done. It was a very good experience!

We worked for Electric Picnic and had no choices to book the hotel. The room is quite out of date.Nothing nearby, we do not have entertainment around. The hotel room charges are overpriced. Definitely not recommended.

Das Hotel ist wirklich schön und sehr modern eingerichtet. Die Zimmer bieten Platz und sind neuwertig. Der Empfang und die Abreise verlief ohne Probleme und durch das Personal sehr nett -＞ Abreise zum Flughafen am frühen Morgen mit Take-Away-Frühstück war auf Nachfrage möglich. Das Hotel ist super über die Autobahn zu erreichen und man ist im Großraum Dublin überall schnell hingefahren… Flughafen 30 Minuten, Küste 40 Minuten, Wicklow Mountains 40 Minuten, Outlet Center 20 Minuten etc. Abstriche gibt es leider für das Frühstück vor Ort. Die Auswahl ist vollkommen ok und auch gut zubereitet, allerdings war das Personal - zwei junge Frauen - wirklich absolut überfordert und total unkoordiniert. Trotz eines sehr überschaubar befühlten Frühstücksraums wurden die Tische teilweise nicht bedient. Wir mussten mehrfach nach Kaffee nachfragen, obwohl die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, kam wiederholt kein Kaffee. Der Nachbartisch wurde während unserer ganzen Anwesenheit nicht abgeräumt etc. Anderen Restaurantbesuchern ging es ebenfalls so, diese sind dann selbst in den Küchenbereich gegangen und haben sich Toast oder Kaffee aus der Küche geholt. Das Highlight war, dass eine der Bedienungen dann noch minutenlang an ihrem Handy gespielt hat, was durch ein großes Fenster zur Küche gut einsehbar war… Ich bin wirklich nicht anspruchsvoll, in der Gastronomie kann im Stress immer mal was schief gehen, hier gab es jedoch keinen Stress und es war wirklich mangelhafter Service.
