Just a little far from the train station as you'll need to cross a bridge to get to the riverside.
The breakfast has a good spread with international and local food options.
Room was fantastic, very clean and new. With premium amenities.
A plus point - the hotel reception staff had exceptional service. (Helped to warm-up the food we bought from the supermarket when we came back at 10pm)
Getting here from Hiroshima Station is very convenient. A taxi ride is only about 1300 yen, so for three people with luggage, I'd definitely recommend taking one. The room facilities were decent, and the service was very welcoming. Breakfast is served on the 25th floor and offers a fantastic view. They also have daily activities, but I didn't get around to joining any.
The staff are really nice and helpful! My partner was suffering from stomachaches and diarrhoea after having sushi and sashimi, but it’s very difficult for a non-local to seek medical consultation in foreign countries. The receptionist, Mr Inuyama, helped us to find the nearest doctor with care and sympathy. My partner finally got better on the last day of Hiroshima trip. However, there is room for improvement in the cleanliness, the carpet has some stains. Overall a good hotel, strongly recommended.
I had an amazing stay at The Knot, Hiroshima! The hotel is stylish and perfectly located, making it so easy to explore the city. The bar was fantastic, and breakfast was absolutely incredible – there were so many options to choose from. I loved the small touches in the room, like the chic dressing gown, which made the stay feel extra special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A standout for me were The Knot Coins – complimentary tokens for snacks and drinks – I used mine for a Basque cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!
Let's start with the positives. The hotel's price is very reasonable, especially for families with two children who often struggle to find suitable rooms and prices. Most hotel systems would split you into two rooms (one adult, one child), but here, you get a 30 sqm room with two beds, accommodating two adults and two children at a fair price. If you book early, breakfast for two is even included.
Every day from 3 PM to 9 PM, there are free drinks and cookies in the lobby for guests to relax and enjoy. You can even try 'Little Boy,' a lactic acid drink that's a Hiroshima specialty. The hotel is right by Nagarekawa Street, and it's not far to Hon-dori shopping street, making it super convenient for dining, drinking, and entertainment.
The downside is its distance from public transportation. It's a few hundred meters walk to the tram, and getting to the JR station requires either a taxi or a bus from outside the hotel. A taxi to the JR station is about 1000 JPY, which isn't too bad. For city attractions like the Peace Memorial Park and museums, you can either walk or take a taxi directly. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but everything else is fine.
So, even though you have to take a taxi to the JR station every day, the room rate is low enough that it still works out to be a good deal.
Facilities: The hotel is newly opened, so the facilities are very new. You can check in by yourself, but it would be better with guidance from the front desk staff.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: It's located at the North Exit of Hiroshima JR Station, a 5-minute walk after crossing the pedestrian bridge. There's a Lawson and 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is very convenient.
Service: Classic Japanese service, very attentive, and they even helped me sign for a package, which was a huge help.
This hotel serves the best breakfast with a variety of sumptuous and healthy options. All ingredients are of high quality and taste fresh and delicious. The breakfast is value for money at ¥1,600 per guest. Free flow of hot beverages like brewed coffee & tea plus soft drinks are available from 2-11pm for guests. There are also self service laundry area available at nominal cost. Overall, i highly recommend this hotel for families
The hotel is huge and in a great location, very convenient for getting around, and close to the airport bus stop. The room view was decent. The nearby mall wasn't very exciting though, a bit boring. It's also close to the Atomic Bomb Dome.
However, the room facilities are really, really, really outdated. The decor is old-fashioned and not suitable for young people. I wouldn't recommend it.
This property far exceeded my expections.
I give much credit to the exceptional service provided by the Front desk team and housekeeping. They have been well trained and follow-up, as and when required. It is one of those few properties which I have experienced, as a global traveller, where it was difficult to leave.
As foreign guests are also using the hotel, I would recommend basic English classes be provided to help in the delivery of the service. Thank you.
Modern and clean hotel, located close to the electric train (trams) Reception is located on the top floor (14) lots of nice accessories available plus lovely snacks and coffee/tea through out the day, highly appreciated. Room was lovely, clean, has small window, but not an issue. Breakfast was standard, and staff were polite. Shops and restaurants on road, easy to walk to memorial park, about 15 minutes, 3 stops from main train station, easy to navigate to Miyajimaguchi island. Wonderful two days.

SshiningstatIt was one of the best hotels I ever slept in Japan. Usually, we try 3 to 5 star hotels in every local capital city. This one is of course famous Prince hotel but it is quite away from the city center yet situated in the most beautiful area of Hiroshima. From the hotel rooms we could see the skyline of the town and the sea.
Breakfast is served on the top floor you can choose traditional Japanese (Nadaman/super famous Japanese restaurant) or western style buffet breakfast.
With a little supplemental fee, I could go to Onsen (hotspring) and it was soo relaxing and the view was stunning. You even can sail to Miyajima island from this hotel port.
OOlegIt's my first time staying in ryokan with onsen and it was amazing since check in procedure full of warm relation and complete introduction to local habits till my first onsen visit.
Something special is dinner in traditional Japanese way and sleeping on futons.
Onsen with different baths and types of water is perfect after hard travel day and went us into the sleep in a seconds
Very small and remarkable city around the hotel easy to walk around and keep a lot of nice photos to remember
Super convinient location in 5 min to railroad station to Kobe and 30 min total to Shin-Kobe station.
Staff support us even when we need to send luggage to the next hotel in Kyoto.
Wish to visit it again

CCheuk KaAs the only option on the island, although the hotel is quite historic, it offers quality services and well-maintained facilities. Both breakfast and dinner are Japanese buffets, and I think the taste is pretty good. The hotel also arranges special activities, where you can watch sea firefly at night. Although you don’t go to the beach, it is still quite special. Rabbits can be found all over the island, especially near the hotel, where you can see them even from your room.
