The rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with pleasant views from the window. Highly recommended!

This hotel is located in the heart of Hiroshima, but it's a bit far from the main tram lines. If you're coming from Hiroshima Station by bus, you'll need to plan your timing carefully or be prepared for a short walk after getting off. The nearest tram stop is about a 10-minute walk, which is reasonable. However, if you're arriving late at night or returning late after sightseeing, make sure to factor in the extra time. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and the bathroom has a good wet/dry separation. The hotel also offers complimentary welcome drinks at the restaurant next to the lobby from 2 PM to 11 PM, which is a nice relaxing space after a day of exploring. The breakfast is excellent, with a rotating selection of Hiroshima's local specialties every day, such as okonomiyaki, fried oysters, and beef tendon stew. The hotel has a laundry room with reasonable prices and combined washer-dryer machines, which is very convenient as you don't need to transfer clothes. If you plan to do laundry, I recommend going in the late afternoon as it gets very busy in the evenings. Overall, this is a great hotel with a very reasonable price.

Initially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands. I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen. There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later). Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face. I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me. Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after. One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen. There is a convenience store in the hotel. But I believe they closes at 2200. Also, there is hot spring in the hotel. There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use. I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too. For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast. 1st day was Japanese breakfast set. 2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast. They were delicious. The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections. For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay. I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride. Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue. I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima. Thank you.

A nice but not great Ryoukan This was a harder resort to measure, luggage drop off was awkward and the decor is not to the cleanliness id like That said this ryoukan is on a small island so perhaps its to standard. What i can say is the room was large enough and the facilities included free yukata rentals, ramen at night and the Onsen view was perfect. Location wise you are an 8 minute walk to the Torii Shrine but its a small island so wherever you book you wont be far from it. I think with a refresh of the decor this could go from good to great But dont expect spotless levels of clean.

Great location, everything's within walking distance. The staff were super friendly and explained everything thoroughly. They gave us a map with detailed directions to Hiroshima Airport, which was way more helpful than Google! You can get a great view of Hiroshima from the hotel's 25th floor, and they offer complimentary coffee and drinks after 10 PM, with different snacks and puddings depending on the time of day. Our room had a window with a city view, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, though there was a slight odor from the toilet, which was fine once the lid was down. Overall, very satisfied.

The hotel is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Hiroshima Station's South Exit. The room was on the smaller side, which I expected. Downstairs, they offer breakfast from 7-10 AM, with a good selection of breads, small pastries, apple juice, orange juice, and coffee. If you don't have super high expectations, it's pretty decent. There are also quite a few good izakayas nearby, but unfortunately, they allow smoking, so we couldn't go in with kids. However, there's a nice yakiniku place close by that was a good alternative.

The carpets are dirty with interesting stains??? Room service only empties bin and replaces water and towels. Location is walking distance to A-bomb dome and Peace Memorial Park Museum which is nice. Buffet was alright too, the rooftop bar has a nice view but wouldn’t drink there. Hotel staff were average at check in. Amenities are also average compared to some “lower end” places that i’ve stayed at. You could probably find somewhere better!

Modern and clean hotel, located close to the electric train (trams) Reception is located on the top floor (14) lots of nice accessories available plus lovely snacks and coffee/tea through out the day, highly appreciated. Room was lovely, clean, has small window, but not an issue. Breakfast was standard, and staff were polite. Shops and restaurants on road, easy to walk to memorial park, about 15 minutes, 3 stops from main train station, easy to navigate to Miyajimaguchi island. Wonderful two days.

The hotel's location is excellent. From the second floor of JR Hiroshima Station, you can follow the skywalk across the street, and it's right next to Hiroshima TV. Having a 7-Eleven downstairs is also very convenient. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are great, and the rooms are a bit larger than typical Japanese hotels. Breakfast is on the 20th floor with panoramic views, including the station. The variety is quite rich, and they even have Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. The only thing I hope they can improve is the towel-only replacement service. It's nice that clean towels are hung outside the door without disturbing guests, but it would be even better if there was a bin in the bathroom to dispose of used towels.

The interior has a classic feel. It looks a bit dated, but since I was only sleeping there, it didn't bother me. The bathtub was spacious, and the distance to the toilet was good, so it didn't feel cramped. It was clean. The staff were also very kind. There's a convenience store nearby, and it's within walking distance of Hiroshima Station, but since there's a streetcar station nearby, I took the streetcar for just one stop.
