4-Star Hotels in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan

Enjoyed my stay. Traditional tatami mat throughout and hence shoes are to removed at entrance. Only 5 mins walk to omichio market. I had a very good sleep and rest. The hotel offers osen, complimentary late night ramen and ice cream/yakult with manga corner. Convenient location where walking is possible to most attractions like Kenroku-en and Higashi Chaya District.

easy to find, just 2 min walk from train station and a big building in your right hand side. Though not a new hotel with something in common area preferred to be renewed; in side the room is very nice, large room compared with usual standard. Breakfast very nice

I stayed for one nights. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and made for a very comfortable stay. They also gave me detailed information about recommended restaurants in the area. The large public bath was also very spacious, and from the open-air bath I could see the mountain stream through the trees. The sound of the water and the clear air were truly soothing. I expect the cold weather will continue in Yamanaka Onsen for the foreseeable future, so please take care of yourselves, and I hope all the staff members take good care of themselves.

The room facilities are complete. It's not very big, but it's enough for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location is excellent; it's within walking distance of major attractions like Oyama Shrine, Kanazawa Castle Park, Kenrokuen Garden, Ishiura Shrine, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, which is very convenient.

Brilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff.  Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me.  They really make you feel very comfortable and safe.  Great location to visit Kenrokuen! 

Great location, very close to the station and surprisingly quiet. However, there was a strong BBQ smell in the hotel hallway, likely from the yakiniku restaurant downstairs. It actually smelled quite good! We even ended up eating there. My clothes definitely smelled of grilled meat afterward. I didn't take any photos of the hotel itself, but it had a rather artistic vibe to it.

This was my first time staying in such a spacious room in Japan, and the price was incredibly reasonable. The hotel provided fresh water, coffee, and tea daily, and the service was very attentive. The pajamas in the room were yukata-style, which was a nice local touch. The location is right next to JR Kanazawa Station, just a few minutes' walk away, with large department stores and shopping streets nearby. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, transportation, and a wide variety of dining options.

Very good location for being close to the train station, although it's about a 35-40 minute walk to places of interest. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and a more complete supermarket and restaurants at the station. The rooms are huge for Japan, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is standard for the country. The hotel has a well-equipped gym and a very nice reading room. They do not clean the rooms until after the fourth night. They are not flexible with check-in; for example, after our 4-night reservation, we rebooked another 4 nights, but they made us wait 4 hours between checking out of the first room and checking into the second room. I think they could have paid more attention to us, since we had booked with them again and on a regular basis, but they paid no attention at all.

Great location as near Omicho market. Parking is on another street, at the back hence not so convenient as the front of the hotel cannot load/unload. Troublesome if raining for family. No smoking room in hotel, need to find nearest kombini for smokers. Cleanliness is good. Spacious for luggages to open in room. Simple and fuss-free.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of several attractions. Kanazawa Station is easily accessible by multiple bus routes, which is a real plus. For breakfast, we tried both options during our two-night stay: The first morning, we had the three-way blackthroat seaperch dish at Omicho Market. The fish was delicious, and the ochazuke (rice with tea) was fresh and flavorful. This is a great option if you plan on trying multiple local foods throughout the day, as it's not too filling. On the second day, we opted for the buffet breakfast on the hotel's first floor. There was a wide variety of choices, but it did get quite crowded, so I recommend going early. This is perfect if you have travel plans for the day, as a hearty breakfast here could easily carry you through lunch. The room itself was reasonably spacious. The TV conveniently displays real-time occupancy updates for the public bath. Compared to other business hotels in Japan, Mitsui Hotels tend to be more consistently reliable and modern.
