Stayed at Hotel Africa in an executive room. The location on Avenue Habib Bourguiba is very convenient for exploring central Tunis, although personally I think the atmosphere becomes more interesting slightly closer to the Medina. Still, Tunis is compact enough that this never really mattered.
The executive room was extremely spacious. The bed was comfortable, but overall both room and bathroom were fairly simple and slightly dated in style.
However, the hotel is solid and practical choice in a good central location.

We had a wonderful stay at the Nine Lifestyle Experience. The rooms were beautiful and the location was just great. We walked to many things, but public transportation and tours were also close by. The food and hospitality were really outstanding and we could each eat on our own schedule. We would certainly stay there again next time we are in Tunisia. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Hôtel Belvédère Fourati is conveniently located close to the airport, within a 10-minute drive. There is no hotel shuttle and, if you ask, the hotel will charge you more than you would pay for a taxi. All hotel staff are friendly and willing to help you with anything. The rooms were clean and up to a world standard. Presently surprised with a fruit basket on our arrival, had tasty dates. There is a shisha bar next door and many other places nearby to eat. I would highly recommend it for other guests to stay.
Unfortunately we had a bad experience because on the last day we asked at the hotel how we could go to see Carthage etc and they recommended a hotel taxi with a price for the 2 hours we needed, well in the end the taxi driver took us where he wanted and was also increasing the time to save more, when we arrived at the airport he told us that he had nothing to do with the hotel and charged us more, he was a thief and a liar, the truth is that we ended our stay in Tunisia in a bad way, and the hotel is responsible because they recommended it to us.
The hotel is set at 3 stars at best, but safety is the first priority. Breakfast is average. The environment and food in Islamic countries cannot be complimented. It only costs 20 dinars from Tunisia airport to this hotel, but the airport rental is too bad and charges 50 dinars You, especially the hotel’s parking taxi drivers, must take pictures and keep them in order to avoid complaints when they are cheated. I have issued a taxi license number for a liar. Don’t take this liar’s car.
This hotel is located in the center of Tunisia and is an old hotel. As soon as I entered the hotel, I saw the big boss of the hotel supervising the work at the front desk. The boss also walked back and forth and helped with the management of the hotel. This was very impressive. The boss is polite and warm. I booked a suite this time and it was very clean and comfortable. The most unique thing is that there is a stool in the bathtub. This is specially arranged for the elderly or travelers with limited mobility. This is very thoughtful and deserves praise. It was very peaceful to sleep at night. The suite has a balcony with city views. The room includes meals, and the food is local specialties and delicious. I will stay at this hotel next time I go to Tunisia.
Stayed at the Majestic Hotel for 4 nights and the body was not bad. It is the oldest luxury hotel in Tunisia. It was established in 1911. It is a colonial building. It is also a block built in the French colonial era. It is very old and beautiful. It is very close to medina, la cafe de paris, municipal theatre, musee de finance and can be reached on foot. The service is very kind and the breakfast is good. I go to the piano bar on the mezzanine every afternoon to drink something. I look at the blue scorpion outside the window on the terrace. This season is very comfortable. It is a very pleasant thing to feel the afternoon of spring with a breeze in the afternoon. Of course, it is not perfect. The facilities as a whole are indeed a bit old. Considering the age, there is no way. The other is that there is a tram stop nearby. There will be some noise in the morning and evening. Friends who are more sensitive to the sound may need to pay attention in advance. Of course, the whole is very satisfactory.
Modern & new hotel & staff service was consistently impressive however space in the standard room was tight. Hotel was centrally located in the city however locked amenities and attractions in the area immediately around it. Breakfast service while not bad, but lacked variety and prior to check in they will try to upsell you extras like room upgrades early check-in and check out.

YYesim SertI had a frustrating experience at the hotel. The staff at the reception pretended to speak English, but when I asked a question I got vague answers. For example, when I asked for tea, they said ”Someone will bring it to your room”, but it never came. There was no phone in my room and the air conditioning didn't work. The first room they gave me didn't have a TV and there was a problem with the tap. They gave me a room with a sea view, but it was too far from the entrance and I still had problems with the air conditioning and the phone. All these problems were only resolved the day before I checked out.
Also, my charger didn't fit into the socket and when I asked about it, I got the same vague answer with no follow up. I even left my phone at the reception to charge, but it never did, which was incredibly frustrating.
As for breakfast, you have to go to a restaurant or balcony area where a lady with an angry expression on her face takes care of you, but you are forced to eat whatever she brings to your table, there is no choice. Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite disappointing and not at all what I expected.
GGuest UserIt was a great choice, I was landing at night, so I decided to stay a night at a hotel close by the airport. My sister and her kids checked in earlier and they had a blast. Great service and an amazing diverse and delicious breakfast we enjoyed the next morning together. I have to say, there was only one bit of detail worth mentioning, the frond desk lady helped me call the cab, but she did not mention using Bolt, which is a more expansive taxi service and forgot to mention that she also obviously chose the Comfort option which cost me more at least a 60% extra charge than the normal price. which was displayed on the meter when we arrived but the cab driver asked for more money than that.
Overall, we had a nice short stay and enjoyed a late checkout to chill and recover from my trip.
Thanks to Novotel Team for the delicious food variety.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff knocks on my door around 9 or 10 every morning just to get towels, and I've been woken up several times already. This is the first time I've seen this. It's very difficult to communicate with the staff since they don't speak English.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a very safe and clean area. They provide a parking in the basement for free. The hotel is very clean and smells good everywhere. The staff are very helpful and support you in calling taxis and carrying luggage. The rooms are well equipped. Bring your own slippers. I booked a triple room for my two daughters and me and they upgraded for free to an executive suite. It was very cozy. The breakfast formula has many options so that you create your meal as you want to. It is close to many sites that you may plan to visit.
We truly enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend the hotel.
