Longmen Pu Village: A Serene Escape into Chongqing's Mountain Charm As an avid traveler, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Longmen Pu Village, a remarkable resort nestled in the heart of Chongqing's stunning mountain landscape. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the seamless blend of modern comforts and the region's rich, traditional charm. The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape. One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting. The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me. The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever. Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure. While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort. In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an immersive cultural experience, this resort delivers an unforgettable journey that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Beibei
A cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings. Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends. The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on. There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn. A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day. The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish. The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there. My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

The room and service are worthy of 5 stars Public areas such as the lobby and walkways are a bit too shabby If it weren't for my husband accompanying me I'm really afraid to step into this building The sense of sight of Chungking Mansions in Hong Kong But as soon as I entered the room, I felt amazing Plus, with my husband here, I feel full of security. The facilities in the room are all new The water is very hot and the water output is sufficient Maybe I set the air conditioner to the wrong mode The air outlet is very loud The large round bathtub 🛁 is very comfortable to take a bath in After walking ten thousand steps a day, I need a bath to relieve fatigue. The most commendable thing is that the transportation is particularly convenient Very, very close to Jiefangbei Hongya Cave It is very convenient to go to other attractions It's very convenient to take a taxi or take the subway. The butler service is also very good and responsive. In short Except that the lobby and public areas are too old Nothing wrong with anything else

It's on the 30th floor of a tower apartment building right next to Hongyadong Cave. The view is as spectacular as the photos show. The living room is spacious and comes with a mahjong table. There are four clean bedrooms and two toilets and shower rooms, making this the best place to stay. Of course, there are plenty of hotpot restaurants nearby, which is convenient. The manager's response was quick and I think this is the best place to stay. I highly recommend it.

The hotel has a high cost-effectiveness, large rooms, good facilities, and it is so cheap. It is very cost-effective to travel in the off-season. The sun was very warm during the two days I came here. The Eighteen Ladders Scenic Area downstairs from the hotel is good to visit. The night view is very beautiful. I went to a small pub at night. There were many people at night, which was quite romantic. There is also a mountain city trail next to it, with a teahouse inside. In the afternoon, someone specifically tells Chongqing dialect storytelling, which is very interesting. The Eighteen Ladders and the Mountain City Trail are not commercial scenic spots like Hongyadong. I like the feeling very much, which is suitable for people like me who like leisure travel. The hot pot recommended by the front desk is also delicious and cheap. The only thing is that you have to register in the parking lot when you check in to the hotel on the first day. You need to contact the front desk every time you enter the unit door, and you can only pick up takeout downstairs by yourself. But the advantage is safety. Outsiders cannot come and go at will. It is much more comfortable than the noisy hotels that no one manages and come and go. The privacy is also good. The environment of the community is also very quiet, and the rest is particularly good.

I am very satisfied with the room. It is a private villa lived by a designer. The courtyard is fashionable and romantic. The room is clean and sanitary. It also has a beautiful small balcony, where you can relax with the breeze at night. It is less than 5 minutes' walk from the food street and supermarket. It is convenient and casual. The owner is very warm and kind. My son is very satisfied. Highly recommended.

Nancy's Hotel was so beyond expectations. First, the view in the room is incredible that all the luminous buildings and bridges unfold in front of you through the big window, and location is as central as you could ask for. Staff is extremely helpful with fluent spoken English, so all the problems can be well-fixed in time, and they even provide some classic itineraries in Chongqing, which is so kind. As a foreigner it also can be fairly difficult to figure out some local restaurants and for that, they also recommended a few for us. So glad to stay in Nancy's Hotel as my first visit to Chongqing. Next time Chongqing, I will definitely come back here!

Owner is very kind and approachable. Facilities are good. Location is great: the next building to my destination, just at the exit of the subway station, walking distance from the busy food streets and the Hongyadong area. Cheaper than most accommodations I saw around the area but overall was great! Highly recommended

Company annual meeting in Chongqing, stay for a few days. Room facilities: The super large curved floor-to-ceiling windows provide a great view of the river. The overall room is very spacious and bright, and it feels like home. The bathroom is also separated from wet and dry. It is said that the cleaning staff will be specially disinfected. It is very comfortable. Location and transportation: The location of the hotel is my favorite You can see the river view from the room, and the view is very good. On the right side of Jiefangbei Hongyadong Yangtze River Cableway is Changjiahui Danzishi Old Street with Nanshan Mountain in the back and the bus station downstairs. There are fruit stalls, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. around, and the transportation is very convenient. Value for money: The room is super comfortable overall, and the mattresses are all latex. Service: The butler service was super nice and the landlord was very kind, enthusiastic and proactive in telling us what to pay attention to during our stay. He also told us the travel route in Chongqing. Usually the messages are replied almost instantly, which is really good.
