Guest UserLoved this hotel, it was my child's favorite! It's located right on Shilu Pedestrian Street, surrounded by scenic spots and very close to all the main attractions. The Shilu Pedestrian Street metro station is just a few steps away, and it's also convenient to take a taxi to different sights. The evening views are beautiful too. The hotel itself is on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors, and the 2nd floor has a great variety of local snacks. The only downside is that it's a bit hard to find; the hotel's prominent name sign is high up on the building. There's a large cat statue about 10 meters in front of the building entrance, which can serve as a landmark.

The first time I lived in Taoist Temple, it was very fresh. Yi Daochang was very patient and attentive. He gave us guidance all the way. We bought tickets from the station (guests can enjoy the preferential price of 80 yuan / people including tour bus during the stay, great value) and went through the relevant procedures. Take the car to the top palace. According to the guidance of Yidao Chang, I quickly found the check-in room. After I checked in, the selected room was the only photography room that could open the door and see the mountain. Due to the recent rain in Changzhou, when I came, I caught up with the time period of the cloudy mountain and the fairy air floating on the mountain. The cloud mountain mist has a feeling of being in a fairyland. Although the visibility is not high, it has a flavor. We booked a meal of 150 per person a day in advance. Four dishes and one soup. The rice is basically not enough and it is free to continue. We ate Maoshan's famous goose meat and steamed salmon. Two vegetarian dishes are a large bowl (small basin) of seaweed egg soup. We ate very delicious. It feels very good. After eating at about 7:30, Yidao Chang also arranged a night tour for us. The cultural history is floating in a fairy spirit. It really feels like being in a fairyland (remind everyone that the temperature on the mountain is generally lower than the mountain, and you must bring warm clothes or you will catch a cold). We also booked the head incense at 12 o'clock in the evening in advance. This is a benefit that accommodation customers can enjoy. It is really superb and the price is super high.
The next day we also drank the highest altitude coffee in Jiangsu Province, with plain noodles, and it felt really good.
I took a few photos of good visibility before checking out. I really recommend everyone to have the opportunity to experience it. It feels super good. We will come again next time.

Guest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!

Food: Breakfast was varied, with western, asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious.
Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery.
Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy.
Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad.
Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

dyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests.
The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries.
Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower.
The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums.
In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs.
Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me.
But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

I booked the Starry Sky room, but it rained. I'm not sure what was going on with the roof, but from morning on, there was a constant dripping sound, like water hitting the canopy. It would drip every now and then, making it hard to sleep.
It was the May Day holiday, so there were a lot of guests, but it felt like the hotel lacked a crowd management plan. Breakfast was crowded, but still bearable. The worst experience was dinner. I had planned to eat at the hotel for convenience. However, after ordering, forty minutes passed and not a single dish arrived, while tables that arrived after us were already getting their food. I completely lost it. There was no apology or reassurance during the process, and pushing for our order yielded no results. A very poor experience overall.

QinaidexiaokeaixiaokeaiThis hotel was a pleasant surprise! The environment is beautiful, the air is fresh, and the attention to detail is impressive. I'm so happy to have found such a peaceful retreat in the heart of Suzhou. The service was excellent too, highly recommend! A special thanks to the front desk attendant who helped upgrade us to a lake view room – it made the experience even better!

AnnaxiaoluThis hotel is located inside the Garden Expo Park, offering a fantastic and serene environment away from the crowds. The package included a 'Sen Duo' photo shoot, which was a great experience with many picturesque spots. The Garden Expo Park itself is massive, and the Nature Exploration Park was a hit with the kids, featuring numerous small animals they could interact with up close. The hotel courtyard has adopted stray cats, and many kittens have recently been born. As the weather is getting warmer, please provide more clean water for the little kittens.

sweethardddOur stay far exceeded expectations. This hotel, built into a former mine, boasts truly stunning architectural design. The curved spaces and wooden elements create an artistic vibe, making every photo opportunity Instagram-worthy. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with breathtaking views of layered mountains and the mine landscape right outside the window – it felt like a hidden paradise. The staff were warm and attentive, making our entire experience, from check-in to check-out, incredibly pleasant. It's the perfect place for a weekend getaway to relax and unwind, definitely worth making a special trip for.

I was traveling independently during the Spring Festival, and this hot spring hotel was the one I was most looking forward to, but the actual experience was quite poor. The hot spring didn't feel like an authentic hot spring. The outdoor hot spring would be very cold if the temperature was below 15°C. The so-called private hot spring rooms were just bathtubs connected to the hot spring, which didn't really qualify as private hot springs; you could only soak in hot water. The changing room was a complete mess.
