LLiduoxiliaolinuolisiI'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!

GGuest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel. It's located on the international side of the airport, which makes it incredibly convenient for catching a flight the next day, especially if you're staying your last night there. The hotel is also very comfortable and upscale. The outdoor facilities at the hotel's hot spring are excellent, and the rooms are spacious and fully equipped with smart home technology. The lighting is also great. Highly recommend!

PPaatBibeeExceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors. Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

GGuest UserThe public areas are exceptionally well-designed, beautifully blending Park Hyatt's signature luxury with a Japanese onsen resort vibe. The overall atmosphere feels both sophisticated and relaxing. The breakfast and the selection of restaurants are much more extensive than at the neighboring Higashiyama Niseko Village, and the food itself tasted noticeably better. Service is also a major plus here. The welcome fruit wasn't just generic apples, pears, or bananas; they offered a plate of strawberries, which felt very thoughtful. Whether it was the Japanese staff, foreign staff, or the Chinese-speaking employees, everyone was consistently warm and natural. I was particularly impressed by a young woman in the restaurant department, who seemed to be from Henan, China. She was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making conversations very pleasant. Communicating with other foreign staff members in Japanese was also seamless; there was no need to force English, nor did we have to resort to translation apps like we did at Higashiyama Niseko Village. Finally, upon departure, since the hotel doesn't have a shuttle bus and we couldn't immediately find a taxi, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a complimentary business car to take us to the station, which was a huge bonus to the overall experience. The basic room type in the hotel building is a large suite with a double bathroom design, offering a high level of comfort. There are some drawbacks, however. As a hotel opened in 2020, there are already visible signs of wear and tear on some of the leather and fabric in the rooms, so the maintenance isn't perfectly pristine. The views are also significantly less impressive compared to Higashiyama Niseko Village, where you can see Mount Yotei directly from the lobby, rooms, and even the onsen. Additionally, this hotel has more rooms and also accommodates quite a few group tours, so even during the non-snow season, it's quite popular, making it less quiet overall than Higashiyama Niseko Village.

MMiimouse TravelHotel is located close to the station so it was easy access from the airport. We checked in around 20:00 and we booked a bus runs by hotel (2,000yen per person) go to Hakodate mountain to see this famous night view. It was the last two seats so if you are thinking to go better to book in advance. Hotel also runs complementary shuttle bus around the city - easy access to every sightseeing place. Breakfast buffet was great, they have a little their own inconvenient store in the hotel so you don’t have to go out to buy something that you need. The lounge area was also great. after we took a bath we both and ice cream and we sat down there walking at the traditional sea glasses lamps which was pretty good time.

GGuest UserI absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world. The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

獨行俠N560PUThe hotel is certainly up to the standard and conveniently located right by the cruise tour for whale watching. Price I paid is on par with the service received. Nothing to critique about the buffet and they are cooked to order. What I really like the most is their lounge with many drinks and snacks options available and I am quite surprised in a good way about that. Only thing I would suggest is, for those who want more privacy in the bath, book yourself a room with private onsen as the open air public bath is rather small and can be filled up very quickly. Having an onsen in the room can resolve this issue completely. The seafood don in the breakfast is very good and nothing to complaint. I would certainly come back next time in the winter.

MMejihuluThis hotel is absolutely amazing! The service was incredible, and I had such a fantastic and enjoyable stay. The outdoor private onsen in the room was unbeatable – the hot spring water was so clean and hygienic. They even provided a great hair essential oil. Highly recommend, it's definitely worth a visit!

PPurple Moon Solo TravelerVery recommended ! hotel room is big enough. there is a small sofa. felt very good. Oven and washing machine is IN THE ROOM. no need coins for laundry ! big window, nice for photo shoot, can open a slide, as shown in photo with milk. (yeah, i use it to make my drinks cold. ) Multiple plug available, good for moderns day and tourist m cause many of us carry powerbank and phone to charge. need multiple charging plugs. Smart toilet as i remember. Hot drinking water available just in front of elevator, at the corridor. (public area) Hotel Location is quite far from town area, BUT, drug store and 7-11 is just in front it, as shown in photo. Pachingko , police station, all around. Nearby is housing area. very quiet place. There is a bus stop , opposite the 7-11. Thus u can still easy get to town. Just the schedule of bus is not so accurate during my time, due to heavy snow. Have some car park available if u rent a car. ( forgot if its charge... but i remember its free. u can check again). Photo of plain snow and car ( not the photo of drug store and 7-11 sign. That is NOT for hotel parking)
