Excellent quality/price ratio, recommended! Parking available nearby

I gave it 5 stars in most areas considering it’s a 3 star hotel. So many travelers, specially us Americans, rate their stays on five star hotel expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a power outage for about 1 hrs but they dealt with it. I wanted another night which was not available but they found me a room just down the street and checked me in to it at 9am. I liked Il Duomo and the staff and recommend it.

Small but comfortable room. Not fully accessible. No water pressure in shower. Noises from other rooms were heard easily. Great location (very near to San Rufino Cathedral) and friendly staff. Clean. Not a great breakfast, but it is good.

A beautiful little hotel in one of the most charming neighborhoods Assisi. Reasonably priced. Friendly and professional staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great hotel

Small hotel recently renovated, clean, welcoming and away from the confusion, despite being in the center of Assisi. Rooms not large but equipped with the necessary, breakfast room small but well organized so that even those who arrive later will find good availability of croissants and cakes. Friendly and helpful staff. The choice for eating in the area is wide and diversified, if you want you can go to the La Rocca restaurant (same management, more than valid) which offers a menu at a discounted price for hotel guests. The hotel is located in the upper part of Assisi, above the cathedral of San Rufino, for those who have walking difficulties or with small children it is best to keep this in mind when traveling. Another thing to know: the paid parking (few spaces, I recommend booking) is not far away and is located outside the walls; with large cars or for motorists not used to moving in confined spaces, the distance to travel to exit the historic center could be uncomfortable (obviously this does not depend on the hotel). Again in relation to the car park, the only flaw: the barrier is always open, when we arrived several "unauthorised" cars occupied it almost entirely; this could be a problem during busy periods when the municipal car parks are full. If we were to return to Assisi however, we would happily return here.

Very simple hotel but in a strategic position to visit the center of Assisi. Good breakfast with both sweet and savory foods. Quality jams, fresh croissants. The quality/price ratio is good. The spacious quadruple room.

hotel in the center of Assisi, basic in terms of amenities, but it was what was needed for a short holiday in Assisi. A few steps from the centre, easily reachable by public transport, it allows you to go on foot to visit the town's monuments and have clubs and bars close at hand. Great for a short break

The room is small, but cozy, and has an elevator. The accommodation is very close to the Piazza Mateotti parking lot. The hotel is located in a restricted zone and it is not possible to reach the accommodation by car

The receptionist is extremely polite, the hotel is clean and familiar. It is located right in the historic center. The advantages end there. For the amount I paid for a quadruple suite, 132 euros, I stayed on my two-month Euro tour, in infinitely superior hotels. I booked a room with a queen bed and two single beds, it didn't have one, just a double sofa bed and a regular bed. It said there was free water in the room, but there wasn't. Internet and bathroom heating were turned off at night. The suites are strange, full of steps. The cleaning employee is rude, a few minutes before 11, she knocked on the door rudely asking if we knew that check out time was at 11. Too rude and direct. In other words, if you really wanted comfort, this is not the place. I don't recommend it, for the price you can find hotels with better value for money.

It is a hotel to avoid. First of all due to the total lack of courtesy of the receptionists, saying rude is a compliment especially to the male doorman. Then what about the practically non-existent breakfast to the point that for a coffee, a cappuccino you have to provide it with a self-service machine, only one type of old croissant. The cleaning in the room lasted the time not even to have breakfast, practically 5 minutes the time to pull up the sheets. The fridge in the room was empty to the point that for a bottle of water I paid €1 at the dispenser at the reception. In short, I didn't realize I was a guest in a 3-star hotel. It can't get any worse than this.
