Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park

The location is very good, it should be close to the downtown location, the airport subway to the nearby (with 2 subway stations), the one that is recommended to go directly, the walk is downhill, 10 minutes to the hotel, the road will pass through the Olympic Park. The Coca-Cola World and the Baseball Hall of Fame are all nearby. CNN is downstairs. The meals in the hall are all hamburgers. They are not very Chinese. There are many restaurants nearby. It is very convenient to go to the attractions. At check-in at noon, the front desk was very good. I said that I would like to reserve a mobile phone number to inform me, but I didn’t actually have it. I can take my room card and live directly when I return.

The company will make a reservation for the room, which is a bit far from the exhibition hall, but the price is low. Other hotels are more than one thousand yuan a night, including early, the room is large, the bed is also a big bed, value for money.

I stayed here for four nights for a business trip. While I was there we were treated with great customer service. My door wouldn’t read my card one night and they took care of me quickly to get Into my room. Unfortunately when I got back home I realized I left a bag of my toiletries on my hotel room. The same day I checked out, I called several times before I reach someone and they said they would have house keeping call me back. The next day I had had no call back, so I reached out again and was able to reach a M. Anthony( guest service manager). He was super friendly on the phone and told me the steps I needed to complete to get my item shipped to me. I sent him a email with my prepaid shipping label on 7/19 and on 7/20 He said he would be shipping it out that day. I few days go by and I still had no update on my tracking number. I emailed two more times 7/22 and 7/25 and called several times with no response. On 7/28 I get a voice mail from K. Trumbull(executive housekeeper) saying the gentleman I talked to before had been out with covid and she was shipping my package now. I called her right back and left a voicemail. But I have not had a call back and my tracking still shows pending. Now it’s 7/31 and I’m very frustrated. I have done what I can on my end but not getting the same treatment from them. It shouldn’t be this difficult to ship a package. You might have a nice stay while there. But don’t expect the same care if you are not face time face with them.

No on-site parking, $50 overnight valet (more on this later), and in the middle of a very rough/dirty area of downtown. Upon arriving at the hotel, I parked in the parking structure across the street, brought my parking ticket in, and asked during check-in if they validated parking. The rude hostess' response was ”We are not affiliated with that parking garage”. That's not what I asked, and there was absolutely no courtesy to her tone at all. But whatever - no big deal. After being parked for an hour (long enough to check in, unload my stuff, and check out the room), my party went back out for the evening. Upon leaving the garage, we were charged $22...for one hour of parking. At that point, we made the decision to just pay for valet parking when we got back. We get back from a long night, park in front of the hotel (there are literally only 3 or 4 spaces in the front, which are always full), walk in and I engage the front lobby Marriott employee to valet park my car. He takes my key and says ”Ok, we'll take care of it”. I'm exhausted, and think nothing of it, and go off to sleep for the night. The next morning, we are up early to get to the airport, walk downstairs, and check in with the valet attendant, and are promptly told ”We don't have your car here”. After several back and forth comments, the valet attendant finally remembers that there is an extra key with no ticket on it, amazing! So I walk over with him to the key box and verify that is indeed my key. Thankfully, he is able to locate my car based on the description I give him of it, and after he returns, we are off for our flight. I 100% blame the Marriott staff for this - they should have known to fill out a ticket when I dropped off the keys. But in general, the inadequacy fits the MO of the hotel. Overpriced and underdelivered.
