On February 20, 2023 we booked a four night stay at the Ripplecove Inn in a Prestige 2 suite, Terrace Condo, for Thursday June 1st to Monday June 5th for 5 adults and received a confirmation e-mail. On February 22nd I emailed the Inn to confirm that this suit has two bathroom which they confirmed by email. On Thursday June 1st we were driving to Montreal and then to the Inn. I sent an email to them to confirm the check-in time where they responded that this booking had been moved to July 6th! They could give no reason for this move and I had definitely had no moved it as we were going to Quebec for an 80th birthday party. After sometime, it was confirmed that indeed we had a suite (same as we booked) and could check in later that day. Upon arrival we checked in and were taken to a suite that had two bedrooms but only one bathroom. We returned to reception and after some time they moved us to a suite with two bathrooms. Alexi at the front desk confirmed he would be at the desk when we were going to check out and he would provide us with compensation for all our troubles. This was confirmed by the lady at check-out but alas we are still waiting. This Inn is undergoing extensive construction. You need to walk though many construction vehicles by the reception, it is noisy and we had sawdust fall on our heads when we sat outside the bar. We had stayed at the Ripplecove Inn five years ago and had a very pleasant visit. Unfortunately, this visit was not up to what you would expect from a five star resort. We were never told how our reservation could have just been moved, why we were given a one bathroom suite and then had to move?
