The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.

小小美吕Staying at 大理古城摩古屋 in Dali on my trip to Yunnan was a really delightful surprise! This guesthouse truly has a lot of heart.✨🍄
The owners, a wonderful couple, are incredibly warm and hospitable, making you feel right at home. Since it was my first time in Dali and I wasn't familiar with the area, the owner thoughtfully helped us find a reliable makeup artist. It was a perfect recommendation, no regrets at all, and I was very happy with the makeup!👍
Breakfast was included in the room rate, and it was delicious, easily 4-star quality – I ate very comfortably. The young man working at the guesthouse was also very attentive, often proactively refilling our bottled water, so we never had to worry about running out. These little details really added to the experience!💧
Overall, the experience was fantastic—warm and reassuring.
I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali for the first time or looking for a cozy, heartfelt place to stay!❤️

GGuest UserThe room has great natural light and is very spacious. Compared to similar places, the price is really friendly. The homestay's service is absolutely outstanding. It's located high up, offering unobstructed views of Erhai Lake. They even prepare an afternoon tea, so you can just relax, enjoy the breeze, and have some snacks – you could easily spend the whole afternoon there without needing to go out. It just so happened that we stayed on Lantern Festival, and the owner even prepared *tangyuan* (sweet dumplings) for us. We bought so many fireworks that night, we couldn't even set them all off, seriously, there were too many!
**Summary:**
Great service, clean facilities, and fantastic views. It's located in Haidong, so driving is recommended. Definitely a place you can book with confidence!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located right at the beginning of the ecological corridor, not far from the high-speed train station. The corridor itself is quiet and uncrowded, with some really nice scenery. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly spacious with a fantastic view – you can literally pull open the curtains and watch the sunrise! I'd definitely consider staying here again if I'm ever back. Erhai Lake is a place that truly deserves to be savored.

GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely wonderful! The ambiance is elegant, and the rooms are spacious and bright. It's very quiet, and there are plenty of relaxation areas where you can enjoy a pot of tea – it's incredibly pleasant! After all the stress from work, this vacation with my family instantly felt restorative. The air quality is also excellent! The front desk staff provided outstanding service; they were so warm and welcoming. The room even came with a variety of snacks and fruits. My child was super happy, eating dragon fruit while taking a bath, she said it was amazing! Breakfast had a great variety, and the noodles were delicious too. We just took our time, strolled around, and enjoyed the sights.

CChuanshanyiThe hotel offers a fantastic view, especially from the rooftop common area where you can see the beautiful Erhai Lake – perfect for photos. The owner is incredibly thoughtful; they offer a pick-up service, and even reimbursed our taxi fare when we arrived. On the second morning, they brought breakfast directly to our room at 10 AM since we hadn't gotten up yet. We enjoyed breakfast in the room while watching squirrels hopping outside – the environment is truly wonderful. The owner also runs a tea business and even gave us some tea as a souvenir when we left. They truly made us feel at home.

GGuest UserAs someone who loves taking photos, the estate itself is a natural studio:
the sea-view soaking tubs, the retro French-style corridors, the South France castle, the exotic Moroccan courtyard – everywhere is perfect for snapping pictures. I took so many beautiful photos, I'm thrilled!
I especially want to commend the service: airport transfers, help with luggage, afternoon tea, goodnight desserts, breakfast, and a dedicated private butler service group. The attention to detail was impeccable, and they were always ready to assist! My dress for photos got dirty dragging on the ground, and they even helped me wash and dry it. All the hotel staff were so warm; I truly felt like a VIP.

Every morning I wake up to the blue of Cangshan, the golden glow of the Three Pagodas, and warm sunshine, truly embracing the spring of Dali 🌸
Around 8 AM, the sun just rises from behind Cangshan, casting a warm golden light on the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple.
The hydrangeas in the courtyard are in full bloom, and every photo I take looks like a magazine spread 📸
🌿 March in Dali is still a bit cool in the mornings and evenings, but the sunshine in the courtyard is just perfect.
Drinking tea on the terrace while admiring the Three Pagodas, with the scent of flowers carried on the breeze – moments like these truly make you want to 'retire right here' 🍃.
And the guesthouse also offers tie-dye experiences!
Highly recommended nearby activities:
· Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas: When it's sunny, the pagodas reflect beautifully. It's best to go in the morning when the light is soft.
· Dali Ancient City: Wandering through the ancient city is super chill.
· Cangshan Cableway: On a clear day, the visibility is amazing, and you can still see some leftover snow on the mountain top. Go straight for the Xima Tan Cableway.
· Sanyue Street Market: If you happen to be there on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, or 23rd day of the ***** month, you must visit the market! It's full of local flavor.
· Xizhou Ancient Town: A 30-minute taxi ride away. The wheat fields are green, and the wind brings the essence of spring.

JJ.Lee169I booked a two-night stay here and had high expectations for my vacation. However, the first thing that happened was an extremely uncomfortable check-in. Two female staff members were incredibly unfriendly; the hotel had no elevator, and there was no luggage porter. One staff member even insisted we carry our large luggage ourselves because the hotel didn't have an elevator. The free hot pot meal was only for the broth; the side dishes had to be ordered separately. We booked four rooms, but when my friend couldn't eat the spicy broth and asked for a different broth, we were charged extra. The hallway lights are turned off after 10:30 PM, so if you're returning late, you'll have to use your phone's flashlight to find your way. The photography service was also unsatisfactory. We had four rooms, but only two were photographed. I requested that the photographer let me go first and the other person take photos later after changing clothes, but the photographer was unhappy and insisted on taking photos at the same time. The photographer, in particular, did not have a friendly or open attitude, nor the manner of a professional service provider. Breakfast was delicious and suited our taste, but the staff were somewhat negligent in their service. We ordered our main course first but were served later, or they forgot to include the side dishes. On check-out day, the hotel scored points with the extremely enthusiastic assistance from a young man in a blue jacket (29/4). The staff member in the blue jacket was very professional, coordinating everything and seemingly understanding that I wasn't entirely satisfied with the hotel. He coordinated everything, from carrying our luggage from the room to the lobby to taking it to the taxi, working with the photographer, and even offering us complimentary tea as an apology and thank you for our stay. Overall, aside from the issues that affected our mood on the first day, the hotel was quite comfortable and clean, worthy of a vacation (although a bit far from the city center). If the hotel can address these shortcomings, I think this will be a wonderful experience for us. Best regards.
