GGuest UserMy positive review for this hotel stems from my appreciation for the owner's dedication to management and his friendly, welcoming approach to guests! The room and overall layout are exactly as pictured, but the location does require a side road. Having mostly stayed in resort-style five-star hotels, I was initially increasingly nervous as I drove. The room amenities also didn't meet my expectations! However, the owner's introduction to the tour during breakfast the next day made me realize the power of women. Wuwei Temple also allowed me to avoid the crowds, and my overall impression of Dali has improved! Overall, it's a very pleasant experience. Having fun is the most important thing when traveling. Thank you to everyone for your service to our family! If you're looking to take your family on a vacation in a tranquil setting with high emotional value, this is the place for you!

Its location is perfect, just across from the ancient city, and there are plenty of food delivery options nearby. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast – how many B&Bs in Dali can say that? Although it's a B&B, both the facilities and services are up to hotel standards, definitely a solid 4.5 stars, if not 5. Yet, it still retains the warmth of a B&B owner, giving you a wonderful 'home away from home' feeling! I've experienced both the 'starry sky' room and the room with a hot tub. The hot tub in the 'starry sky' room is indoors, while the other is in the room's small courtyard. I was initially worried if it would be too cold or too sunny in February, and if there'd be enough hot water. As a 'Northeast old iron' (a term for someone from Northeast China, implying resilience), I can confirm that my family of three used it every single day!

From the moment I stepped in, I was instantly captivated by the 270-degree panoramic sea view lobby – the stunning blue vista truly made it feel like stepping into a painting. The room was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the sea. In the mornings, I was gently woken by the sound of the waves, and in the evenings, watching the sunset dip below the horizon from the balcony instantly melted away all my fatigue. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and both the facilities and cleanliness were outstanding. Even the toiletries were high-end brands – the attention to detail was exceptional! The hotel service was simply impeccable; the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and even thoughtfully recommended some hidden local gems. The breakfast spread was both lavish and exquisite. And most importantly, this place is incredibly photogenic! Every corner offers a perfect photo opportunity, and even a casual snap turns into an Instagram-worthy masterpiece. I've already highly recommended it to all my friends, and I'll definitely be back!

NNiuniutang2016This guesthouse is a charming and welcoming place, and my top priorities when traveling are safety, service, and cleanliness! The moment you walk in, you feel a sense of warmth and cleanliness. The staff, both the young men and women, are incredibly enthusiastic. Even if their Sichuan dialect is a bit fast for me to understand, they made a great effort to communicate with us! My initial reason for booking was the two Shiba Inus, who are absolutely adored by children and have wonderful temperaments! The guesthouse staff go above and beyond to assist with your travels; you don't have to worry about being unfamiliar with the area because they can help with everything and offer excellent suggestions. They even remind you about safety repeatedly when you head out! My parents and children were so reluctant to leave this guesthouse, missing the friendly atmosphere, the two little dogs, and the comfortable bedding, haha! They told me they'd definitely be back! Finally, regarding transportation, the guesthouse is right by one of the entrances to Dali Old Town, making it super convenient for strolling, shopping, and dining. Waking up early, you can see the first rays of dawn hitting the pagoda from the rooftop. If you're coming to Dali, this is an excellent choice!

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by two staff members who waited patiently for us despite the chilly breeze. They efficiently took care of our luggage, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
The rooms offered breathtaking views and a refreshing breeze, further enhanced by the delightful welcome tea break snacks. The rooms were well-equipped with essential amenities, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, including a projector that allowed us to enjoy a fun karaoke session.
To top it all off, the staff even prepared an early breakfast for us, which was truly appreciated.

GGuest UserThe owner was so nice, even helping us move our luggage when we switched rooms. The auntie was also very gentle. The room was quite pretty and they even gave us a small fruit basket. I'm very happy with the hotel, just be sure to avoid the electric scooter rental next door. Make sure you know the going rates, otherwise it's super easy to get ripped off.

MM507417****This place truly made me feel at home. I arrived at the hotel starving after my business trip, heading straight into a solo vacation. The owner's father personally picked me up from the airport and even made me a warm bowl of noodles. The rest of my stay was wonderful. The room had an unbeatable location; I could see Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain the moment I woke up, and enjoyed both sunrise and sunset, plus the evening 'fish lanterns'. Reading, sunbathing, and feeling the breeze from Erhai Lake on the balcony – it was incredibly relaxing. The only downside was that the room was so comfortable, I barely wanted to leave to explore! The owner, knowing I was tired, even brought my takeout right to my room. I wish all hard-working people like them continued success!

I looked at a lot of hotels in Dali and found this one. The location is indeed a bit out of the way, outside the ancient city, so you'll need navigation to find it.

Excellent! Throughout my stay, the staff's attitude in arranging things and helping me understand everything about the surroundings was superb.
**Cleanliness:**
The room was very clean. The hotel seems quite new, so the whole room felt great. The room they assigned me also had a view of the outside, essentially four floor-to-ceiling windows, and even a small balcony. It was really wonderful and beautiful.
I'm Uncle Ben, a man from China who believes in kindness and charm, and I highly recommend this place.

First off, the decor is stunning – it feels like a secluded estate nestled between Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. It's perfect for travel photography, so if you're into that, definitely come prepared. I hadn't originally planned on a photoshoot, but the setting was so beautiful I decided to go for it. To my surprise, the photographer was incredibly professional, and the photos turned out amazing!
Then there's the natural scenery. Waking up every day to the picturesque views of Cangshan and Erhai was breathtaking; it truly made me want to stay forever. This season also brings seagulls, and you can see many of them playing around Erhai Lake every morning between 9 and 10 AM. In the evenings, a crescent moon hangs in the serene night sky, accompanied by twinkling stars.
Next, the service: it’s truly attentive, like having a personal butler. From the moment you step into the estate, you feel constantly looked after.
The facilities are also excellent, with several thoughtful details I really appreciated. For example, the facial tissues by the sink are soft cotton wipes, the hairdryer is a Dyson, and the mini-fridge is stocked with snacks and face masks.
Finally, let's talk about the dining. While breakfast isn't a buffet, the individual set meal each morning is fantastic, featuring a local specialty main dish, whole grains, fruit, and either black tea or coffee. In the afternoon, there's afternoon tea, and in the evening, a sweet soup is delivered to your room – a truly heartwarming touch.
