Amazing
UUtsav AryalWe had an amazing stay at The Royal Purnama. We booked their Chempaka Villa for 3 nights which had its own private plunge pool and we were not disappointed. The amenities were very impressive, the rooms in itself were really Preety with the pool access from any room of the Villa. The isolated location although might make this not an easily accessible hotel but that makes it special and secluded. It is near Ubud or If you are looking to go to east so that is why we booked it for our first three nights in Bali there to save us some time. We enjoyed their complimentary afternoon tea and the amazing service in their Standing Stand restaurant and their Spa as well which were amazing. The staffs are really amazing and they are so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay back in this place in the future.

GGuest UserThis place is a Beachfront Gem with Impeccable Service and Comfort. I recently stayed at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of the experience. The location is unbeatable—right in front of the beach, with a vibrant stretch of restaurants just steps away. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh seafood or a sunset cocktail, the options are plentiful and delicious. The hotel staff were consistently helpful and kind, making the entire stay feel welcoming and smooth. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and checkout was just as seamless. Breakfast was a daily highlight—plenty of variety, beautifully presented, and genuinely tasty. It’s clear they put thought into catering to different tastes. With two pools on-site, there was always space to relax without feeling crowded. The rooms were spotless, and I appreciated the precision of the daily cleaning service, which happened at the same time each day like clockwork—quiet, efficient, and thorough. If you’re looking for a relaxing beachside escape with great food, friendly service, and clean, comfortable accommodations, this place is a fantastic choice. I’d absolutely return.

GGuest UserThe room was exactly as pictured and described. The breakfast wasn't great; there was no congee with noodles, only plain congee, milk, bread, and coffee (which was decent when made fresh). The 'Seafood Carnival' was a disappointment. 🤔 It wasn't as good as the first convenience store to the left across from the hotel. That place has a huge seafood platter for just over 300, and it's incredibly fresh. The lobster and tiger prawns with garlic butter sauce are especially worth trying there. The hotel's seafood tasted like it had been frozen and wasn't very fresh, though the live music and atmosphere were a plus. The seafood platter shown in the picture is not from the hotel. What truly stands out is the fantastic service and warm smiles from every single staff member. They genuinely care, and I would definitely come back again.

GGuest UserThe Hilton Resort Bali is quite simply heaven. There is nothing the staff cant and won't do for guests, and their service attitude is outstanding. The resort itself has many different sides, quiet beach areas, family areas, poolside bars, so no matter what kind of person you are,you can have a wonderful time here.I visited the Executive Lounge Grain, Elara and The Shore across my stay, and the food was beyond amazing. I would not hesitate to come here again.

AAmanda MarieStayed here for just 2 night as hadn’t been to the area before and wanted to see what it was like. Beautiful place and gorgeous room and gardens. Clean and very well maintained. Only issues were minor-  anytime we tried to phone for room service or reception you’d have to call 2-3 times before anyone picked up. I think there were 3 or 4 restaurants on the premises but they pretty much all had the same menu and it was nothing to blow your socks off. I had a late night sweet tooth this trip and was very disappointed with the room service deserts. We had cheesecake with no flavour at all and a very tiny brownie that came with a very small scoop of ice cream that I think was sitting on a small piece of bread. I think it was meant to be sponge cake but it looked and tasted like bread. Also had 3 small old strawberries and a smidge of chocolate sauce that was not very nice. The menu said it came with a maracuya sauce (passion fruit) which it didn’t- there was no mention of the strawberries which could be an issue if anyone had an allergy. I ordered iced lattes which were quite nice but a very small glass for the size. I asked for a bit of ice cream to be added and was charged for a whole serve of icecream which made it about $12AU which was double what I’ve payed anywhere else in Bali. I did mention this to staff who deducted the cost of the ice cream which I appreciated. Any Bali hotel we’ve stayed at, you can pop your dirty cups/dishes outside the door and they will be collected. Ours sat there for 24 hours even when we had staff come to the room to deliver room service. Travelled with a smoker and while you couldn’t smoke at the pool bar you were allowed to smoke on balconies and around the pool. Asked at the pool bar for an ashtray who didn’t have any and told us to go to the towel bar who didn’t have any and didn’t know where you could get one. Was then directed to a different area to ask and they gave us a plate to use. I saw people putting their cigarettes in the garden and spare bottles as there were no ashtrays available. We gave up asking for one for use on our balcony. Beautiful grounds and if smoking is allowed they should provide what’s needed or some people may just throw them on the floor which would be disappointing. If relaxing by the beach you had to walk back to the pool bar to get a drink which was a pain.  Our room had very good aircon, was very spacious and beautiful and had comfy beds. Probably the best maintained room I’ve stayed at in Bali. A good amount of PowerPoints and it was the first Bali resort I’ve stayed at that had adequate power points that our plugs didn’t keep slipping out of. I did request twin beds and to be close to the pool which other hotels didn’t even try to accommodate but Sol by Melia provided this immediately. A few families there with small children and while the resort was kid friendly to an extent, it’s maybe not the ideal place for small children. Many people trying to read by the pool and relax with small kids yelling and crying. I didn’t see any obvious play area for kids, nothing significant anyway. There’s one pool with one shallow area for kids but it’s just a little kid pool which meant they were not very entertained and were getting frustrated. If ours were still little we’d probably go somewhere tailored to kids. All in all a good stay but we did get a good deal on the room. $165AU a night with Trip.com which was significantly less than some booking sites and still cheaper than booking direct. It was nice but I wouldn’t pay the regular rate. Would I recommend- yes I think I would. Just the room alone was worth it and we had the most basic room which was very large

VVictorAh, ”Gradmas” in Bali! It seems you're likely referring to one of the Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, specifically Grandmas Plus Hotel Seminyak or Grandmas Plus Hotel Airport. They are popular budget-friendly options in Bali. To give you a good review, I can summarize what people generally say about them, but if you stayed at a specific Grandmas Plus Hotel, let me know which one (e.g., Seminyak, Airport, Legian), and I can tailor the review even more. Here's a general overview of what people often say about Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, combining common feedback: Grandmas Plus Hotels, Bali (General Review) Overall Impression: Generally, Grandmas Plus Hotels are well-regarded as excellent value-for-money options, especially for budget travelers, solo travelers, and those looking for a convenient location. They often receive high ratings for their service and cleanliness. What people like most: * Excellent Location: This is a consistent highlight. * Seminyak: Very close to Seminyak Beach (often cited as a 5-minute walk) and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. This makes it ideal for those wanting to explore the vibrant Seminyak area. * Airport: Convenient for early flights or quick stopovers due to its proximity to the airport. * Friendly and Helpful Staff: Many guests praise the staff for being amicable, attentive, and going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. They often mention the staff's smiles and willingness to help. * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are consistently described as sparkling clean and well-maintained. * Value for Money: Guests frequently mention that the price paid for the amenities and location is a great deal. * Breakfast: Often receives positive remarks for being good, and sometimes even offering a ”different gourmet food selection” daily. * Amenities: While generally basic, they offer essential amenities. Some locations have a pool, and many have a connected restaurant/bar. In-house spas are also mentioned as a plus. * Comfort Rooms (after checkout): Some hotels in the chain offer a ”comfort room” which is a nice touch for guests with later flights. What people like least (or areas for improvement): * Room Size: A very common comment is that the rooms can be ”compact,” ”small,” or ”cramped,” especially for families. While well-designed and clean, they might feel a bit tight for some. * Noise: Depending on the room location, street noise, music, or bar noises can be audible, especially in Seminyak, which is a lively area. * Bathroom Ventilation/Issues: Some reviews mention a lack of exhaust fans in bathrooms, or occasional issues like drainage smells or spots on tiles. * Pool Size/Quality: For the Seminyak location, the pool is sometimes described as ”tiny” or ”very poor” and can get crowded. * Limited Amenities: While good for the price, some guests might miss certain features like mini-fridges or electric kettles in the rooms (though free mineral water is usually provided). Would I recommend this hotel? Based on common reviews, yes, I would recommend Grandmas Plus Hotels, especially if you are: * A budget-conscious traveler. * Looking for a hotel with an excellent, central location (Seminyak) or close to the airport. * Prioritizing friendly service and cleanliness over spacious rooms or extensive luxury amenities. * Traveling solo or as a couple (larger groups or families might find rooms a bit small). They are often described as a great base for exploring Bali, offering a comfortable and practical stay without a hefty price tag.

WWanmeichuxingMy first stop in Bali was Kuta, and this hotel was a great choice. It's super close to the airport, which is perfect for late-night arrivals. The hotel offers excellent value for money, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's also conveniently located for getting around. If you enjoy walking, it's not a long stroll to Beachwalk, and you'll even pass through Jalan Legian, soaking in the local sights and culture along the way. The hotel does have a pool, but it's on the smaller side, and I didn't get a chance to use it. This isn't really a hotel for just lounging around; it's more suited for travelers who plan to be out exploring daily or those catching a flight, and who don't have super high expectations for their accommodation.

DDaniel64This is our 4th time of staying in this hotel also our second time in Alam Villa. But after compared to last time we stayed in 2018, it's sad to say this hotel is going down hill. The hotel is severly under staff, things are getting old, pipes are leaking. Compared to the same Anniversary holiday, we had a different experience and treatment this time. We do hope the hotel management can do something to improve. Still, we still recommend this hotel to someone who has limited budget.

AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
