Manxin Hotels in Beijing

Very nice hotel of traditional Chinese style decor and architecture, great staff and impeccable service, they are so friendly and helpful, room is clean and organized, the location is in a famous Hutong, you can walk around easily to feel the Beijing local vibe, surrounded by restaurants and cafe, all in all super recommanded!

Hotel's location is so good. Easy access to Forbidden City. Super near yo 王府井. There are plenty of eateries and shops within 3 to 5 minutes walking distance. Very near to 金鱼胡同 metro, walk about 2 to 3 minutes only. Another bonus is the most famous restaurant with Peking duck is just next door. Can go take a que number and come back hotel to rest and wait for your turn. The restaurant is forever long que. We waited 1.5 hours (in the hotel room), but the taste is worth the wait. The size of the room is sufficient. There is laundry service on 5th floor. You won't regret to stay here.

The hotel is on the site of an old temple and is very beautiful. Rooms are comfortable with a good shower, free water & bowl of fruit. It's very accessible to the metro in 2 mins and plenty of restaurants nearby. The park & lakes north of the Forbidden City are also a stroll away. Yong and his staff on the front desk are so very helpful and pleasant. They cannot do enough to answer queries or help with bookings.

Pretty room But the intelligence toilet is without cleaning And also there are no air conditioning in winter Room temperature high up to 28°C When I open the windows there are full traffic noise for whole night Air conditioning seems an issue for all hotels in Beijing in winter. Furthermore, other guests seems to like smoking at the corridor but no one cares.

This hotel is a small germ if you consider your stay at Beijing. Yes, it is a bit outside of the main city but the traffic connections towards the inner parts of Beijing is still reasonable. It is a rather quiet place to have a couple of days with the focus on relaxing when you have only a few things to do in Beijing. The set-up with a kind of traditional house structure - only two floors, square shaped outlying of the building, provides a rather friendly and easy to go feeling. The facilities are well maintained and the fountains in the central yard provide a nice addition together with the hot spring tubes. The surrounding of the artificial lake provides a nice atmosphere. Some visitors may regret that the area surrounding the hotel does not offer much. The stuff are well trained and carry out their tasks with the friendliness expected from a hotel at this level. I summary, I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a couple of relaxing days if you have to stay in Beijing and do not have a busy schedule at the same time.

Great hotel. Plenty of museums around and easy to reach from the railway station. The staff bent over backwards to help and were really kind, they even brought fruit to the room for the kids. they also gave recommendations for a good places to get food. The only real downside was the room was so hot that it made sleeping difficult. Staff tried to turn the heating down- no luck.

The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring the sights in Beijing, close to the metro and several cute restaurants and cafes. The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed, not the rock hard Asian mattress one might expect. My son loved the rain shower. The service was very efficient and helpful. One gentleman helped us book tickets to the Temple of Heaven online. We would definitely stay there again if visiting Beijing.

Wonderful experience at this hotel. Their staff very attentive and courteous. They ensure all guest to have a pleasant stay. A special thanks to the front desk 帅哥 managed to take immediate action to change our room to the middle due to air con noise issue. Thanks for the breakfast ☺️. The hotel is very close to Qianmen subway(metro line 2 and line 8 )which is convenient to various attractions, about 5 mins walking distance to the subway station. Although the room is not big, it is clean, fully functional with smart home. Self service laundry available including detergents. They also provided free fruits, mineral water, tea and snacks at the front counter. Before leaving, they also gave us some snacks. I highly recommend this hotel for outstanding customer service, great location and comfortable bed.

Highly recommended to experience the taste of Courtyard 民宅四合院. Very convenient location, right at Qianmen. No need to worry about food and drinks, as you are just seconds away from DaShiLan street. The subway is also nearby as well as major attractions such as Tiananmen Square and the Palace Museum. The staff are friendly and attentive, always greeting you when you enter and exit the lobby, and even offering warm drinks during this cold winter.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, centered right in Haidian District and only 10min away from nearest subway station. Room gets cleaned every day to a very high standard, the staff is very helpful and super friendly. They're very generous with everything that they provide, also they don't mind showing you how the AC works as it can be a bit challenging due to it all being in Chinese but even for non Chinese speaking tourists they go above and beyond to help any way that they can! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in a great location in Beijing solo or not, I would definitely book this hotel again. We want to thank one member of staff in particular, we forgot to get his name however he was very smiley and pleasant, he gave us going away gift bags. Great experience for a first time in China!
