BBingbingle、The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking. The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

FFubohanI booked the glamping room with a hot tub and twin beds, and it totally exceeded my expectations! The guesthouse is right at the entrance to the ancient city, which made exploring and getting around super convenient. The whole place has an elegant and peaceful vibe, and it was exceptionally clean, making for a really comfortable stay. During the day, soaking in the hot tub while gazing at Dali's blue skies and white clouds was so therapeutic and relaxing. At night, it was incredibly romantic and cozy to unwind in the warm water while stargazing. The bedding was comfortable, the service was attentive, and the room amenities were exquisite. This was by far the best accommodation during my trip to Dali! Highly recommend!!!

GGuest UserAfter a lot of careful consideration before my trip, I chose this hotel with a beachfront room, and it was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is so comfortable, and our butler was incredibly attentive. We were a family of two adults and one child, and they provided an extra bed for free. You can enjoy the sea view right from your bed, and just by opening the curtains, you can bask in the sun while admiring the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake – it’s just unbelievably relaxing. The breakfast and afternoon tea were both thoughtfully prepared and felt very special. As the sun began to set, many seagulls flew by, and we could see flocks of seagulls and ducks from our room's balcony. This place is truly somewhere I could visit a thousand times over; I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Dali.

__APC502968****This time, my boyfriend and I traveled together and stayed for 3 nights. Because the same room type was fully booked, we had to change to an upstairs room on the second day. The owner was incredibly enthusiastic and always offered to help us move our large suitcases, they were so kind! One night, my boyfriend suffered from altitude sickness in the early hours, and I messaged the owner. They replied instantly and brought us an oxygen tank, constantly checking in on us, which was truly touching! The breakfast every day was freshly cooked and fragrant rice noodles. The room was also very spacious and clean. In terms of location, it's very close to Sanyue Street, great for shopping, and also close to the ancient city. You can even rent an electric scooter from the owner! There's also a billiard table downstairs for entertainment! I have to say it again, the owner is really, really nice!! I didn't actually take any photos of the hotel, but the environment is really good!

The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming, and there was even a cute little puppy named Hamburger keeping us company. My mom said the breakfast rice noodles were delicious. The only downside might be its proximity to the road; the large trucks passing by at night were quite noisy, which made it hard to sleep.

JJovin_WongI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dali Ancient Town Meishan Guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Location – unbeatable and worry-free The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free. Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse. What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue. The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎 Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Value – exquisite and worth every penny This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip. Final thoughts I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special. If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!

YYouyoudiliuliuAn Yu is truly a gem of a hotel. With so many accommodation options in Dali Old Town, I was feeling overwhelmed until I stumbled upon it, and it immediately caught my eye. The location is excellent; though it's just a few steps from the bustling pedestrian street, it's nestled in a quiet spot away from the noise. I stayed for two nights, and it was incredibly convenient for finding food—restaurants, cafes, and snacks galore. The butler was exceptionally thoughtful. They added me on WeChat before check-in, provided important information, and confirmed transportation details. Although the room isn't huge, it's fully equipped, and the attention to detail is impressive. The bath products were Le Labo Santal 33, my favorite brand and scent. Breakfast was abundant, and afternoon tea was provided during my stay. Small snacks on the 3rd floor were also available for self-service, and in the evenings, there was sleep-aid milk or white fungus soup. While it was a bit noisy facing the street, and I could clearly hear people talking, it became much better once the windows were closed. What touched me the most was that on my last day, I had to leave for the high-speed train station at 7:30 AM, but breakfast only started at 8:00 AM. I had planned to buy some bread the night before, but the butler offered to prepare a simple meal for us. The next morning, they handed us a big bag with two boxes of sandwiches, a box of hard-boiled eggs, a box of blueberries and strawberries, and a travel mug. How incredibly thoughtful! Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely try their hotels in other cities next time.

GGuest UserThis place truly made me feel at home. I arrived at the hotel starving after my business trip, heading straight into a solo vacation. The owner's father personally picked me up from the airport and even made me a warm bowl of noodles. The rest of my stay was wonderful. The room had an unbeatable location; I could see Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain the moment I woke up, and enjoyed both sunrise and sunset, plus the evening 'fish lanterns'. Reading, sunbathing, and feeling the breeze from Erhai Lake on the balcony – it was incredibly relaxing. The only downside was that the room was so comfortable, I barely wanted to leave to explore! The owner, knowing I was tired, even brought my takeout right to my room. I wish all hard-working people like them continued success!
