Hotels near Stromatolites in Cervantes

2nd stay on my return trip from kalbarri to Perth city. Location is superb as it's walking distance to jetty and also restaurant/cafe. Room can be a bit cold...

This is a small town not that far north of Perth WA being a 2-2.5hr drive. There is very little accommodation around and most is budget style. We were very lucky that the hotel was full (Easter hols) and the room I had booked had faulty A/C unit and was thus unusable. The staff very very kindly put us into a two room suite with balcony where the spa bath was broken (there was still the normal shower). I offered to pay but they insisted I could have it at the single room rate. I would have taken the room had I known. It had a functioning kitchen, loads of space, seating and most valuable of all to those on a road trip....a washer/dryer. There is nowhere to eat so we used the kitchen.

We stayed in the ‘ retro’ section of the park. We were very satisfied with our location and the amenities. The amenities are old but the showers were hot and clean. The park is very tidy and well maintained. The staff were very professional. The swimming pool was surprisingly not cold. We did not use the camp kitchen or games room but they looked very modern. There is a little cafe connected to the reception very convenient for a morning coffee. Walking distance to the jetty an Lobster Shack. I would recommend this place.

The room is big enough, there are some facilities, but the surrounding area is not popular, the sound insulation effect is too bad, the phone in the room next door is loud in the middle of the night, we listen clearly, but just do not answer the phone, I am still worried about that People slept, and as a result, there was a noise in the room at five o'clock. The door closed loudly, and we got up at six o'clock!

Others are pretty good. At 10 o'clock, someone came to urge check-out and round the room. The time concept is particularly strong. In addition, there is no dishwasher in the kitchen. After going out, I was told by the phone that I didn’t wash the dishes. I had to charge 25 Australian dollars. I asked for a credit card number...

Next to the motel is the beach, a great place to take pictures of the sunset. The hotel room is next to the RV camp. There is free parking. The motel rooms are small but the facilities are basically complete. There are air conditioners, hot water bottles, toasters, etc. The beds in the rooms are comfortable but not extra beds. It is better than the average motel, the room is quite big, and our two brothers can also form a big room. Cook by myself. Mainly away from the stone array, we have to go to the night sky, so it is a must to choose here.
