"The entry to the hotel could be alot better but the hotel was nice. The corner room has a great view of the interstate. The breakfast was a grab and go due to COVID-19. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. "
"I booked a hotel for my daughter. I looked for many hotels. This is the only hotel in Tampa that accepts 18-year-olds. Although the hardware is not comparable to the Grand Hyatt in China, the hygiene and service are very good. The price is much more expensive than in China. You can stay in Park Hyatt in China."

"All aspects are good and worth recommending. Free parking for you, the traffic is very convenient, slowly open from Tampa Airport, about half an hour. The bed is large and can sleep four people. Breakfast must be praised, a variety of fruits are very much, obviously better than other similar hotels."
"The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean and tidy, the service staff is friendly, and the hotel parking is very convenient (35 US dollars a day), which is a plus for a hotel located in the urban area of the United States."
"Hotel Haya is an an amazing hotel located in he heart of Tampa’s Ybor City Historic and Entertainment District just minutes and blocks from downtown and the best airport in the world. The coffee shop has the best café con leche of any place in Tampa, the Flor Fina restaurant has a wonderful menu that serves the best lunch and dinner in Tampa. And you cannot meet a friendlier and accommodating staff from the valet to the front desk to the waiters and waitresses and bartenders and even the people who clean your rooms!"

"Due to the special period, the first time I stayed at this hotel, the overall is good, the hotel is good, but there is a smell of ”pet” in the room. Unfortunately, the shampoo and body soap in the room have reached the bottom of the bottle. The conditioner has an empty bottle. We couldn't meet the normal bathing use of these. Hotel location is good, hotel lobby, room layout is in place, the overall look is a bit old, hotel breakfast is OK, continental breakfast, the hotel website indicates that you can check in at 3:00 pm every day, but we arrived at the hotel at 3:30, the front desk told us that the computer was slow, Asked us to wait a little longer. At this time, I saw many customers coming in from outside the hotel to the front desk. The customer service quickly checked in. We waited until more than four o'clock in the afternoon. Some were anxious. I asked the front desk customer service again. The customer service said that I would wait a while and I had already responded to the manager. It was about 4:15. The front desk customer service checked in for us. Due to our special circumstances, the front desk asked the customer service if we could delay our check-out until 1:00 when we checked in the room late today. The front desk customer service replied that we could not have to check out at 12:00. Very helpless, Unsatisfactory hotel terms specifically bind guests staying, do not constrain the management level of the hotel, home away from home is the service tenet of the hotel! I hope that the hotel will improve the awareness of customer service for the stay!"

Great
GGuest UserWe flew to Tamp for my Granddaughters Graduation and stayed one evening for our early departure. Very comfortable, free parking for rental car. Airport car rental return is literally across the road/ highway we were there within minutes. Since we arrived late and left early, I really can't add much more other that the beds were comfortable, and our room and bathroom were nice. I would definitely book again.
GGuest UserThe hotel is nice and clean, and coffee tea are available all day in the lobby, nice breakfast, very good location as we are visiting our kid in USF which is within walking distance. My only 2 complaints are that the pillows were very flat, and the parking cost $10 per day. We didn't read the fine print/policy, assuming it's free. We didn't need to park as my kid's car is parked in school campus across the street. We would have omitted the parking permit if we had known it cost extra. Next time, we will not get the parking permit.
FFineganThe hotel is a little confusing to get into as far as parking wise. Amenities are fair. The room was clean.
One drawback I can mention, is the hotel is located right on the train tracks. You can hear the train running all throughout the night. The train runs the horn so be prepared if you plan on staying here, to hear the train.
A second drawback was the thermostat in the room. Yes the thermostat. Why? The one in our room literally illuminated the entire room. It was as bright as a blue fire. I am sure like many of us adults like to sleep in the dark. No this literally was shining so bright you could read a book by the light. I would recommend to dim them for the customers prior to entering the room.
Oh we also had some noisemakers in our room next door. Had to call downstairs to let them know that it was time for rest.
This hotel is located in a party town. So assuming you like to party, it would be good for you.
GGuest UserI chose this Marriott because of the indoor/outdoor pool area! Perfect because it was pouring rain when I arrived and I really wanted to go swimming. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. The free shuttle was convenient and the driver was funny and talkative. I got the business concierge balcony room. Big tv and nice balcony. Used the concierge lounge for breakfast. It was convenient and the food was decent. The on-site restaurant was a little expensive and the food was just OK but the cocktails were great! My stay was perfect for a pre-cruise night.
CClarissaWe stopped and stayed here after a trip we were on was extended a day and we had an early flight to catch. Check in was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable and the location was great as it was minutes to the airport, which was great with a 6 am flight with 3 kids and 7 people total. Our only complaint was the laundromat services were only available until 9. We spent the day at the beach and just planned to wash and pack our beach things once we had come back from dinner. Once we got back from dinner the hotel laundromat was about to close. There was a coin mat about mins up the road , so it wasnt the hugest inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have the on site laundromat available 24 hours or even until midnight. We travel for sports a lot and this is the first time we have encountered this.
曲曲Advantages: The location of the hotel is very good, especially for those who catch early flights. The hotel is 5 minutes drive from the airport, and the airport shuttle of the hotel leaves at any time. There is a large shopping plaza within 20 minutes walking distance, which makes shopping and eating convenient
Disadvantages: Hotel is poorly soundproofed! !! !! Sleeping with headphones, at 4 am, I was woken up by a guest who was catching an early flight next door. It was too scary! The breakfast room is very small, and there are no more places for the guests to sit. Fortunately, my room is on the same floor and I took it back to eat. . . The bed is so small, the double bed is actually 1.2 meters wide, and it can be considered as a widened single bed. I really can't sleep two people. This is the smallest bed of any American hotel I have ever stayed in. The bed is famous @@)
DDr RobertMy review is intended as constructive feedback and should be taken that way.
Check-in was a bit of a hassle, but once we got over a speed bump, everything was fine. I won't go into what happened exactly, but please NOTE: they do NOT accept cash for the deposit or payment. You must have a credit card.. Make sure your card works... and they don't seem to accept Union Pay cards. There isn't any drinkable water in the room, but there is a convenience store two buildings away - super convenient.
The rooms are clean. But, everything is old. The furniture could be quickly restored with some varnish to the furniture, and rustic rugs tossed on the wooden floors. They should consider adding their own line of soaps and hair care products for an element of care and elegance. It'd be nice to have a couple of complimentary bottles of water, as well.
The free shuttle from the airport - go to blue baggage claim and go out one of the blue entry/exit points; either 1 or 2 - at the far ends of the baggage claim corridor. Look for a ”Veterans Limo” van. They come regularly. Just tell the driver where you're going.
Breakfast is great if you love carbs. Unfortunately, no proteins were served. I recommend just adding some scrambled or hard-boiled eggs or turkey bacon and cheeses. You should add more varieties of bagels and bread, as well - especially if you're going to stay carb-centric. Raisin bagels would've been nice.
Thanks for the waffles. Neat, but I would prefer an omlette station.
Overall, I will probably not stay here again, but only because there are so many other options to choose from.
Oh... No offense, but the front desk staff could use some training in customer service and customer care. A couple of them seem to be tired of guests and refer to guests as ”them” and ”they” with a tone of contempt. The staff seems to be falling into a horrible customer care death spiral of ”us” vs. ”them” and seeing ”them” as ”stupid.” Maybe have just a workshop to help staff reaffirm their commitment to the hospitality industry.
Competition won't go away, but customers will.
GGuest UserThe hotel has been great so far and me and my girlfriend have had a great time. great location and great staff. will definitely recommend and stay again.
