The room is a solid front-line unobstructed sea view, the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows have a great view, and you can enjoy the panoramic view of Cangshan and Bohai Sea while lying on the bed. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along? We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had. The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word. Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter. Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. I booked the room for my two daughters who travelled to Dali alone. The owner had arranged someone to pick them up. My girls loved the place and the staff were all lovely. The rooms itself was large, with a huge bed and balcony. It was super clean and my daughters were very impressed but the design. They were also very grateful the owner organised a car and tour guide for them for a very reasonable price at the last minute. The breakfast was quite authentic and freshly made and they even had homemade chilli sauce with fruit and milk.

The homestay has a beautiful environment, complete facilities, convenient transportation, and the rooftop is very suitable for friends and family to talk and chat together. It is very close to the Erhai Sea and can be seen in two minutes on foot. The photo is very good. The boss is also very good. I searched online for ages before finding this place called 'Dali Langyue Hotel.' I was hesitant at first because the rating was only 4.6, which seemed a bit low. However, I noticed they had plenty of rooms available, so we decided to check it out in person before making a decision. I'm so glad we did because it exceeded all my expectations! First, there's parking right outside the hotel, and a parking lot nearby, which is incredibly convenient for self-driving tourists. It's also super affordable, only 10 RMB for 24 hours. The location is perfect for exploring the coastal road, and the service is genuinely warm and straightforward, with no hidden tricks. Second, the hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. The rooms have windows, and the glass is sparkling clean. The bedding is fresh and comfortable, and every little corner is impeccably maintained – truly a high-quality standard. The hotel has four floors and an elevator. I honestly feel this hotel's previous low rating was unfair. Their service quality and attitude are truly excellent, beyond words. Third, the hotel is very reasonably priced, much cheaper than similar hotels. So, my advice to everyone is not to rely solely on ratings when booking a hotel; it's essential to do some on-site research. After seeing it, we decided to stay, and our experience was fantastic. The bed was incredibly comfortable – I slept so well, waking up naturally to the beautiful view of Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake right outside my window. It was truly breathtaking. My real-life experience confirmed that it offers great value for money. The environment is very clean and beautiful, the garden is lovely, and the breakfast is also excellent.
