Atmosphere: The sea view is stunning, offering different sunrise and sunset views every day from every angle. Facilities: Well-equipped, the host even provided daily replenished disposable toiletries, a powerful hairdryer, and a wet/dry bathroom setup. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy. The cleaning staff cleaned daily, and the room was odor-free. Service: The butler service was attentive and responsive. Public areas were elegant and clean with pleasant diffusers, and there was a self-service area for water and amenities.

We chose Coco as our butler for our trip to Dali, and the hotel was a pleasant surprise! Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the staff were incredibly helpful, even offering thoughtful advice on travel routes and reminding us about the tidal lane in advance, which made our self-drive smooth and safe. The guest room was meticulously cleaned, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The hotel is close to the ancient city, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. Both the facilities and services are top-notch. I truly recommend it to all travelers.

Located right in front of ErHai and its view is simply amazing. It’s located near the main road which means Didi car can pick up with no issue. Coffee and tea are offered at the lobby. Basic amenities are provided in the room. Check in/out is fast and any query can be addressed via WeChat. The toilet glass wall is translucent and though having blinds can kind of see the others’ shadow clearly when in use. The only cons is having to go up down the stairs 4 level every day which is inconvenient for elderly. But overall it’s a recommended stay.

We chose this hotel after seeing photos of the amazing views from its rooms - and we were not disappointed. The hotel is located in a high rise residential apartment complex, and situated in between the east and west banks of Erhai lake. You could see both banks clearly from the balcony, with Cangshan serving as the backdrop. Service was personal and wonderful too. We had our rooms upgraded for free to a bigger one, and the staff gave many useful recommendations of local restaurants, attractions and bike rental - very very handy for cycling Erhai lake (the bike shop she recommended was professional and provided high quality bikes which enabled us to go halfway around the lake, and could be returned at a different location). She also made us tea personally upon request, and offered to teach us teamaking. Overall, a very pleasant stay with nothing to complain about. Will recommend this hotel to fellow travellers who are looking to stay in a less touristy part of Dali, away from the ancient town area, with amazing views from the hotel itself.

The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, though the doors for the toilet and shower aren't ideally placed (it doesn't affect usability). It's super close to the train station, just a five-minute walk, and the surrounding area is lovely – quiet yet central. Breakfast options are a bit limited, and there's only one all-in-one coffee machine, which means queuing. The front desk service was excellent; they immediately sent a robot with nail clippers when I needed them. When I couldn't make it to breakfast, the restaurant staff were incredibly thoughtful, providing a takeaway box, cup, and even a bag.

From check-in to check-out, the service at the hotel was consistently super helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and all the amenities were complete. For Muslim guests, there is a small shower connected to the faucet that can be used as a bidet. There are also many halal food options around the hotel. They provide pick-up and drop-off service to the station as well. 1000/10 — the best!

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is easy to find, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room was clean and bright, with a cozy atmosphere, and the bedding was super comfortable. I really enjoyed the book bar in the common area — it had a great vibe. My entire trip to Dali was spent at the Meihau Hotel, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. From its convenient location and room quality to the attentive service, it's truly a hidden gem for anyone visiting Dali. I highly recommend it to all friends traveling here. The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both the high-speed train station and commercial areas, meaning you can arrive directly after getting off the train – saving time and hassle. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and it's easy to catch a taxi to the Ancient City or the Erhai Lake corridor. It perfectly balances convenient access with a peaceful stay, as you won't be disturbed by street noise. The hotel's overall decor is a light luxury and elegant style. The lobby incorporates Oriental bamboo and wood designs, with Yunnan-specific details visible everywhere. The public tea room and lounge areas are clean and tidy, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea in your downtime. My king-size room was spacious and airy, featuring a smart home system where I could control lights and curtains with my voice – very high-tech. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the floors, bedding, and even the nooks and crannies of the bathroom were spotless. The bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas and stocked with branded toiletries. The mattress was soft yet supportive, paired with both soft and firm pillows, allowing even a light sleeper like me to get a good night's rest. The soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. The service was an added bonus. The front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic, checking me in efficiently and quickly. They even thoughtfully provided welcome fruits and local tea bags. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, including authentic Yunnan rice noodles and Ersi, as well as Western pastries, fresh fruits, and vegetables. The hotel also has a free gym and a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient for long trips. The 24-hour front desk was always available, responding promptly to any request. The value for money is outstanding. Dali's scenery is soul-healing, and this hotel added so much warmth to my journey. Next time I visit Dali, I will definitely choose Meihau Hotel again, and I recommend it to all my friends and all visitors to Dali to book with confidence.

Right as I reached the entrance with my luggage, a young man came out to greet me. He enthusiastically took my bags, and I felt a little awkward walking behind him empty-handed. The room wasn't huge, but it was very tidy. The sheets looked freshly changed, no wrinkles, and none of that stuffy smell. The window was open a crack, letting in a cool breeze. It was incredibly quiet at night. I had worried about soundproofing, but I slept soundly until morning. Breakfast was rice noodles with minced meat sauce. The sauce was fragrant but not greasy, and the noodles were slippery. It came with a small dish of fried mushrooms on the side, with no overpowering spices, just the natural taste of the ingredients – very comforting. When I left, the same young man escorted me to my ride. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.

One feature we particularly appreciated was the pillow menu, which offered different types of pillows to suit individual sleeping preferences and made our stay even more comfortable. The fitness centre was also well equipped, with a good variety of machines and equipment, making it easy to keep up with our workout routine while travelling. Overall, this is a comfortable and well-managed hotel with excellent service and facilities. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Dali.
