Hotels in Shuanglang Scenic Area, Dali City

First time visiting Dali with my elderly mother. We stayed in Dali Ancient City (Haixi) for the first two nights, experiencing its lively bustle. For the latter two nights, I specifically booked a hotel near Shuanglang Ancient Town (Haidong). After comparing several options, I chose this cliffside seaview guesthouse. Upon arrival, whether in the guesthouse garden or in the room, we had unobstructed views of the blue sky, white clouds, Cangshan Mountains, and Erhai Lake. This trip was absolutely worthwhile! 😊 The guesthouse service was also good, and they even offered complimentary bedtime milk. 🥛🥛

This hotel in Shuanglang is incredibly convenient, located near Xihai Mu Dui and many other beautiful restaurants! You do need to climb a dozen or so steps to reach the hotel, but the stairs are lined with beautiful flowers. Once you get to the entrance, you'll find that the entire ground floor is an open lobby and lounge area (unlike other guesthouses that cram rooms onto the first floor, making things feel cramped). The front desk even has freshly brewed herbal tea, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious – rich in variety and perfectly balanced. The room was an even bigger surprise; it's very spacious with a fantastic layout that feels so comfortable. You can see the sea right from your bed, and the private balcony is huge. Sitting out there in the evening was the most relaxing part of my trip to Shuanglang. A big thank you to the hotel butler for the warm and thoughtful pick-up and drop-off service, and for helping with my luggage. I had a wonderful two-day stay.

Highly recommend the Sanse Yunhe Erhai Shuanglang store! It's a hidden gem of a sea-view B&B nestled in the ancient town. The balcony offers direct views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, with stunning sunsets and the 'Water Hyacinth' flower season right before your eyes. The entire home boasts rich wooden textures, and complimentary snacks, drinks, and bedtime milk are provided. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful, ensuring a comfortable stay with delicious food and incredible photo opportunities. A must-stay when visiting Dali!

The environment here is great, right by the road facing the sea. As soon as you step out, you feel the sea breeze, which is very comfortable. You can park your car on the roadside. The room is a 270-degree view, spacious, and tidy, with direct sea views from the room. The service attitude is excellent, especially the gentleman in the grey and black uniform who proactively helped guests with their luggage. They deliver late-night snacks to the room every evening, and staff always greet guests with a smile. The complimentary breakfast is also good, and the kitchen auntie is very kind. It's suitable for family stays, and I would definitely come back again.

I stayed in Dali for two days, and first and foremost, I have to give a huge shout-out to the lovely owner! She was incredibly thoughtful and super enthusiastic about helping us with any issues we had. The hotel has three floors and is very close to Shuanglang Ancient Town, making it easy to catch a taxi. The sea view room was beautiful, and the night view from up here was stunning. My friends who live in Dali highly recommended this place. The surrounding area is quite peaceful, so you really feel relaxed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff also proactively helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs. The service was fantastic. I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time and will definitely come back if I have the chance!

Our stay in Dali was absolutely perfect! The hotel's location is incredible, right on Erhai Lake, with direct lake views from the room. You can enjoy the stunning scenery of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake right from your bed, and the sunset in the evening creates such a wonderful atmosphere. Upon check-in, the hotel kindly upgraded our room for free to one with an even better view. The room was clean, spacious, with comfortable bedding and complete amenities. They even gave us a local specialty souvenir, which was a really thoughtful touch. The staff were warm and attentive, quick to respond to any issues, and offered great travel advice. It’s also very close to the Erhai Lake ecological corridor, making it easy to walk or bike around. It’s quiet and relaxing, perfect for a vacation. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Dali; I'll definitely choose it again next time!

This guesthouse is perfect for photos and also great for a relaxing getaway. The biggest highlight is the amazing sea view from the room; the floor-to-ceiling windows face Erhai Lake directly, so you can see the Cangshan mountains and the clouds from your bed. The balcony loungers are also perfect for just chilling out. The room is well-equipped, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a quiet and restful environment. The breakfast, especially the rice noodles and soy milk, was delicious! 😋 My child loved it so much and wanted to stay another day, but our plans changed, so we'll have to come back next time.

This guesthouse was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Erhai Lake. The front desk lady was an absolute ray of sunshine; she came out to help us with our luggage before we even entered. We needed to change and get ready, so she went out of her way to arrange an early check-in for us – incredibly thoughtful! The room was spotless, and the soundproofing was excellent. At night, it was so quiet we could only hear the gentle lapping of the lake, and we slept incredibly soundly. Opening the window in the morning, the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake stretched out before us like a painting, shimmering beautifully. Just sitting on the balcony and daydreaming felt so therapeutic. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. The location is also convenient; a short walk takes you to the Huanhai Road, and there are many authentic Bai ethnic restaurants nearby. When we were too lazy to go out, we simply ordered food to our room and enjoyed spicy and sour fish with the sea view – it was pure bliss! I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

I stayed at two guesthouses in Dali, one in Dali Ancient City and one in Shuanglang Ancient Town. As I rode the guesthouse's golf cart, weaving through the streets and alleys from the Benzhu Temple, I felt a bit nervous. But the moment I stepped into the room, I was stunned by the beautiful view. Although it's located in the ancient town, it's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, and it's not noisy at all at night. There's a coffee shop right downstairs, perfect if you're tired of Yunnan cuisine and want to try something different.
