The room exceeded my expectations – it was clean and beautiful. The host was incredibly welcoming, and there are two gentle and adorable cats at the property you can pet to your heart's content. Breakfast had a great variety, and you could communicate any specific requests. The dining times were also very flexible, so coming early or late was never an issue. The guesthouse is right next to Erhai Lake's Xiaoputuo, so you step out to amazing scenery, and it's super convenient to get to all the attractions. Highly recommend!

This was easily our favourite accommodation and the best butler service we experienced throughout our entire Yunnan trip!! Before we even arrived, the staff contacted us to confirm our ETA so they could prepare accordingly. When we reached the accommodation, they were already waiting outside to welcome us and were practically “fighting” to help carry our luggage 😂 Our butler then introduced us to the activities available, recommended nearby attractions, and showed us around our rooms and the amenities provided. Some of the things we especially appreciated: • Service: Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. Any request was just a WeChat message away, and they were always quick to help. They also helped us receive quite a number of parcels we had ordered online, which made things so convenient for us. • Rooms & amenities: The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. One of our rooms had an amazing view of Erhai — waking up to that view was definitely a highlight! However, do take note that not every room has a view. Our other room did not have a view and was located directly beside the room door. There were also useful items available for guests at the lobby, such as sunscreen, insect repellent and sanitizer. • Afternoon tea: We really enjoyed this! There was a good selection of tea and coffee, the fruits were sweet, and both the flower pastries (鲜花饼) and rose cake were delicious. One day we were out and couldn't make it back for afternoon tea, so they actually saved our portion and left it in our room for us. • Little extras: We were each given a complimentary ticket to 小普陀 (XiaoPuTuo). Our room for 4 pax also included a complimentary photoshoot with 5 nicely taken and edited photos. • Night drink: The rose vinegar served at night was surprisingly good and refreshing — especially nice for tourists like us who had been eating all day 😂 • Thoughtful send-off: On our last day, we had to leave before breakfast time. Our butler prepared breakfast packs for us with milk, probiotic bread, fruits, steam eye masks and wipes. ----- There are just two small things we feel could be improved. 1. The toilet paper is currently placed inside a recessed hole in the bathroom wall, so having a proper toilet paper holder would make it more convenient. 2. It would also be great if the accommodation's outdoor logo/signage had lighting, as the area gets quite dark at night and the entrance can be a little difficult to spot. ----- These were very minor issues compared to our overall experience. We stayed at several accommodations throughout our Yunnan trip, and this was hands down the one that left the BEST impression on us. The butler service here was the best we experienced during the entire trip, and we genuinely felt very well taken care of from before we arrived until the moment we left. ❤️

I came to Dali with my friends and chose this homestay. I really didn't choose the wrong one. The room was cleaned very carefully and there was no smell at all. The public area on the fourth floor is very beautiful, you can sit and see the scenery in your free time. The boss is very real and will recommend us places where locals often go to eat. The location is not far from the Bohai Sea and it is convenient to travel. Stayed very relaxed and will come again next time!

Dali Erhai's Stunning Guesthouse | Gentle Seas and Mountains Hidden in the Wind Heading to Dali, the luckiest thing was staying at this incredibly soothing sea-view guesthouse. With a 270° panoramic sea view, the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the entire Erhai Lake. Waking up to a thin mist rolling over the water in the morning, and watching the sunset kiss the Cangshan mountains in the evening, with the sea breeze drifting in through the window – all the dust and fatigue are gently smoothed away by the mountains and the sea. The guesthouse owner is incredibly kind and warm, approachable and thoughtful, patiently explaining everything. She makes you feel as comfortable as if you're with an old friend, bringing a sense of peace even when you're far from home. In the morning, nothing beats a bowl of the guesthouse's homemade rice noodles. The broth is savory and rich, with an authentic, flavorful taste that truly captures a sense of local life. A warm bowl of rice noodles, accompanied by the full view of Erhai Lake – it's simple and unpretentious, yet enough to heal an entire journey. Sleeping to the sound of the sea breeze, spending days amidst the mountains and sea – with healing scenery, warm hospitality, and comforting food, this was the most unforgettable stay in Dali. I genuinely recommend it to anyone heading to Erhai Lake.

The hotel service was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. The facilities were all smart, which was great! 👍 It's also very close to the Starlight Night Market. The area downstairs is quite lively at night, but the hotel has excellent soundproofing, so it wasn't noisy.

I was really satisfied with this trip! I loved the design style of the guesthouse. It was incredibly relaxing to watch the clouds roll over Cangshan Mountain and the ripples on Erhai Lake from the terrace. The owners are both wonderful people 👍. They even lent us their electric scooters for free to go out for meals. When we switched rooms, they helped move all our luggage and even hung up our laundry, which was so thoughtful! The coffee the owner's wife made was delicious; I had two cups one day, haha 😄. We were also very lucky to experience the local Torch Festival, getting a taste of Bai ethnic customs. It was a beautiful experience, and I hope to carry that wonderful blessing forward. Oh, by the way, the hot and cold labels on two of the faucets in our room were switched 😂. It took us a while to figure it out, so just a heads-up if you see this! 😁

This sea-view hotel provided an absolutely top-notch experience, I highly recommend it! The owner was incredibly attentive and helpful; they were enthusiastic, detailed, and patient when answering any questions, making communication a breeze. Upon arrival, they even proactively helped with our luggage – excellent attention to detail. The hotel thoughtfully provided drinking water and a variety of fresh fruits, which guests could take for free at any time. My second-floor sea-view room offered a fantastic view; opening the window instantly revealed a magnificent ocean vista, both beautiful and perfect for photos. The room was spotlessly clean, every corner meticulously maintained, and the bedding was soft and tidy, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. Whether it was the service, cleanliness, or the view, everything was impeccable. It offers great value for money and is perfect for a vacation stay. I'll definitely be back!

The room is right next to the Bohai Sea. The view is very good. The hotel is also very clean. The main thing is that the boss and the proprietress are very considerate. They also sent us to the car to help us call the shuttle bus to the station.

The room was absolutely fantastic! The layout was spacious, with a bathtub and a large balcony. You could see Erhai Lake right from the bed – not just a small view, but a huge expanse! It was also very quiet. The service was excellent; the owner provided almost everything. Five stars, no doubt! If I weren't going somewhere else, I definitely would have stayed longer. The only downside was that the voice-activated curtains weren't very good; it was like they were deaf! 😂

We had a wonderful stay at Distant Home · Azure View Xunshan Jihai | Full Sea View Luxury Wilderness Homestay and highly recommend it! The room features a stunning Erhai view and Little Putor is only few minutes walking distance. A super comfortable bed that guarantees a good night's sleep. As someone traveling with heavy luggage, having an elevator was an absolute lifesaver. The room comes with all the necessary amenities, and the location makes it very easy to hail a taxi or Didi. Simple breakfast provided was the perfect start to the day. Great value and hospitality!”
